Tama na ang pagrerent. Bakit di ka kumuha ng house na hulugan para pagdating ng araw sa iyo na rin yun? Savings mo narin ang naihuhulog.

Kaya mo naman yata ang magcommute, laki ng matitipid mo sa gas.


Iwasan ang pangungutang at wala kang mararating diyan. The more utang ay the more pasanin lol. Kung kaya mong magtiis ay tisin mo at iwasan ang pagloloan at paggamit ng credit card.

Kung mayron ka namang gamit na maayos pa ay pagtiisan mo muna at hindi puro bili pag may bago. Tandaan mo hindi mawawala ang mga bagong iyan.

Baka naman pag may bagong model ng kotse ay swap ka agad ng bago. Baka naman pag may bagong laptop model ay sungkab ka bili agad. Baka naman may bagong iphone model ay sunggab ka agad. Wala ka ngang maiipon kahit malaki pa ang sweldo mo monthly.

Sa sweldo mong iyan dapat marami ka ng naipundar na investments like lupa at bahay.

at least sir, alam ko mamiminimize nyo din yung mga "unavoidable expenses" niyo. hindi nga lang madalian but padahan dahan.. its the way to go.. mahirap din naman ng biglang change of lifestyle eh...

I've been a member of this site since 2009. I may not be actively posting and providing comments but I would say that this site helped me a lot to find places to go, where to have good food, what's the next hit movie, etchetera etchetera

Yesterday, as I was browsing the site, I landed on the page about Personal Investing and Money Management. As I continue to read threads and threads, I came to a realization that I've spend my 10 working years and the monthly salary I received with NO SAVINGS AT ALL!!!

This is it. I decided to publish my current financial status and hope that my fellow PeXers will be kind enough to give their insights and advice for me to earn my 1st million pesos and eventually be financially free (I've read books of Robert K and he always mention about being "Free").

To start with, I am currently working in a call center which is my main source of income. I'm still single but my partner and I are expecting a baby boy this year. I am the bread winner of our family so I provide support on a monthly basis (my family is renting and I shoulder the cost). I am also renting another house for my partner and soon to be family (I understand that this will entail extra cost but I've decided to have my own place instead of sharing it with my family).

I have credit cards, car and a personal loan that eats up most of my monthly income. My partner has a daughter so I also take care of her studies.

I have a small unit being rented for a low price (60 sqm) and a small "loan" generating monthly interest.


Here's the list of my monthly income and expenses. Sad to say, I have very little savings (yes, you are right. I currently use the formula Income - Expenses = Savings)

I did not include my 13th month pay in my projections since it all go to my personal life insurance paid every year. These are all net amount, coz I can't do anything about taxes anyway.

There you go. I acknowledge that I'm in bad debt, financially bonded but very willing to listen and seek advice.

Yeah, make sense, I heard this all the time and read this in many books...but the question is how when all your expenses are "valid expenses".

Any suggestions?

nauwanaan ko si TS. Medyo kailangan talaga ng discipline sa pagsave. Ako kung ako bibigyan ng ganyang kalaking salary, di rin ako makasure na makakasave ako ng malaki. Ang gaan kasi nating magpalabas panigurado ng pera pag ganyan kalaki sweldo..i think human instinct and kasama na din ang pagiging pinoy natin sa ugali nating yun.

For now, since hindi mababawasan ang expense, dagdagan na lang ang income. madami *** mapupulot dito sa PEX. Yun din talaga rason ko kaya dito me lagi when my time is free.

Madaming mabait dito na tutulong. Si mr.guy dami ko nakuha na advice dun sa ginawa kong thread about lending. dami niyang insight na maganda.. (although di pa nga lang naaply yung mga tips nya, wala pa kasing capital) hehehe

Looks like we're on the same wavelength...if I will force myself to save and not think about those who depend on me, then there's no issue. In a year or so, I can have my 1st million...but that is not the case.

I'm all up increasing my income side of the equation, just let me know your brilliant ideas and I might be able to deploy one with my little cash at hand
