Name of PETRON BLAZE BOOSTERS' next import might be Alan Anderson. The guy is 6'6" in the NBA plays SHOOTING GUARD and SMALL FORWARD The guy is still under contract (10 games) with the TORONTO RAPTORS. So, we'll see.

scorer but not a shooter. Good defender and ball handler.
Let's see if he will fit with the team. I'm hoping he's somebody who can get his points and involve his teammates as well

Petron needs an import who can orchestrate plays for his teammates, shoot well outside and defend well. Anthony Grundy did this last Governor's Cup. Unfortunately, he's too small if they're going to bring him in again considering he's around 6'3 only. I just hope Petron Management don't mess things up this coming conference by making bad decisions again.
dont put your hope on petron management making decisions because there isnt
put your hope on the lover boy not in fantasy league mode...
Just read some articles from Petroniverse website, noticed that some fans are also in favor of trading Arwind Santos to other teams in exchange with other top caliber players, preferably defensive ones. Arwind Santos is a tremendous player with very good basketball skills and can dominate the game when he wants to. Unfortunately, I agree with some SMB fanatics in saying that he has a low basketball IQ. This is evident in some games I've seen, bad decision making, playing outside shooting 3's instead of closer shots, etc... Seems that Arwind has never learned from previous criticisms about him. Piece of advice, Arwind needs to mature and develop something new in his arsenal. Develop his low post moves, improve his passing, concentrate on rebounds, and the most important thing is to make better decisions inside the court. The team needs to develop chemistry and as one of the superstars of the team, he should lead by example. I hope Petron can defend their crown this coming conference and hope Arwind can lead them to the promise land.
Arwind can only be traded to AE or BBE or BGK or BMEG unless you want the side contract revealed...

ang problema sa petron ... puro trade pinapasok ... palakasin kaya muna nila ang chemistry ... just like what talk n text did. 8 man strong ni legit big man/center (except for peek) . hindi kailangan ng petron ng team na puno ng superstars . how i miss coach ron jacobs when he was handling this team (smb era)
Hintayin nila na makarecover sa injuries sina Washington and Rabeh. Saka lugi ang Petron kapag naitrade siya sa Powerade kasi I'd take a healthy 6'7" PF over a 6'1.5" na SG/SF.

Perasol confirms Petron pursuit of Lassiter, still against trade
Powerade coach Bo Perasol remains firm in his stand against a trade involving top rookie Marcio Lassiter.
“Alam niyo naman ang stand ko, kung ako ang papipiliin as much as possible ayaw ko ma-trade si Marcio,” Perasol told InterAKTV on Tuesday amid reports that another trade that would send Lassiter to Petron Blaze was being pursued.
Perasol himself confirmed that the Boosters are once again hot on the trail of Lassiter, the leading candidate for Rookie of the Year honors.
“I think they’re active about pursuing a deal to get Marcio,” said Perasol, referring to Petron.
Last February 20, the PBA vetoed a trade that would have sent Lassiter to Petron in exchange for Noy Baclao and Rey Guevarra. In justifying the veto, league commissioner Chito Salud cited the deal’s effect on competitive balance. Lassiter is one of the top players in statistical points this season, while Baclao and Guevarra have seen their playing time diminish in their second season in the league.
The veto came amid reports that the Powerade franchise had been bought by San Miguel Corporation, which also owns Petron. Officials of Coca-Cola, which owns the Tigers, denied the sale.
Perasol, however, said that the decision to trade Lassiter would management’s, not hit. If the Tigers deal the star rookie, Perasol said that the team should get better talent in return.
“Since sila naman yung nagpu-pursue ng trade, dapat they should give something which would be more advantageous for us,” said Perasol. “Kung ako papipiliin, we want to get a scoring big man and a scoring wing man if Marcio is traded.”
