As for the other trade, I guess this will happen on draft day itself to put more pressure on Alaska and Meralco.

If Alaska picks Tiu at 2nd and trades him to Meralco
3-way trade between Petron, Ginebra and conduit Barako:
Petron acquires Danny Seigle and the 5th pick; the Blaze Boosters use 3rd pick on Hodge and the 5th pick on a wingman.
    Ginebra acquires Washington and Baclao
Barako acquires Raymundo and the 8th pick

    If Alaska picks Hodge
Petron acquires Danny Seigle and Doug Kramer; utilizes 3rd pick on Abueva/Tiu
    Ginebra acquires Washington and Baclao
Barako acquires Raymundo and the 8th pick
What will Meralco give in exchange for Tiu?

Para lumuwag ang guard rotation, maybe trade Yeo to Air21 for a future pick? Not exactly next year's pick, pwede ring 2014 or 2015, since if all of these happens, we are pretty much set at least for the next season, if not the next 2-3 seasons. So hindi naman talaga kailangan pa ng mga rookies in the coming years.

    Rumors:

If Alaska Picks Chris Tiu instead of Cliff Hodge, there is a strong possibility that Jay Washington will be traded but if Alaska picks Cliff Hodge, it will be either Jay or Arwind and this depends on the trade.

  6. #3566
i wish alaska pick chris tiu,so dat petron will trade jwash and baclao to barako. my DS na my ABUEVA/ELLIS ka pa. plus fajardo and hoge. ito na ang bagong simula. pls lord let it happen. tnx in advance.

Sino kaya mas magaling mag pronounce ng TON SHING WA? COACH SIOT o COACH AL? Pero depende pa yan KUNG SAAN ANG SHOWING ng SPIDERMAN 4. - snow badua

  8. #3568
Kala ko ba e try muna ulit nila kahit 1 conference kung mag co exist si jwash and arwind using a different coach?

  9. #3569
naka depende talga sa pick ng alaska si washington. if ever alaska picks hodge.. matagal na istorya ito para sa petron.. pero pag hindi kinuha ng alaska si hodge.. then sure ball trade na to si washington sa ginebra.. hodge is an instant starter para sa petron or anyteam. upgraded version na rudy hatfield kaso 6'6 si hodge and has hops and shooting capabilities.

Personally, am not in favor of getting back Danny S at this stage. Mababangko lang sya sa Petron, limited lang playing minutes nya with them. As a true SMB die hard fan, I'd rather want to see him playing in a weak team para makapaglaro sya ng matagal kasi may ibubuga pa sya. Give him another year with other teams tapos kunin na lang nila after ng next season para he will retire as a beerman.

  11. #3571

  13. #3573
^its either panalo. or naiipit ngayon ang petron on how to utilize their players.. fajardo enters in their lineup. and 3rd pick either tiu or abueva makes the petron a loaded team with so many 3's , lutz lassiter arwind. mag coclog ang lineup ng petron. they will try to trade washington if they get hodge. but if they didnt get hodge. then they will try to acquire a powerforward like kramer that can give them hustle. but how?. theyll probably trade via 3 way.

Also, Spiderman 4? :/

Air 21 interested to acquire former top pick Noy Baclao from Petron
    Rey Joble, InterAKTV · Saturday, August 11, 2012 · 6:20 pm

Former top pick overall pick Noy Baclao has seen his minutes dwindle at talent-laden Petron, but his potential still draws interest around the league.

The Air 21 Express have emerged as the most ardent suitors for his services.

“He’s one of those whom we would like to get,” said Air 21 coach Franz Pumaren, who has been in constant communications with team executive Lito Alvarez who is in Macau for the annual planning session of the PBA Board of Governors.

Pumaren sees a lot of upside in Baclao’s game.

“People see him as a defensive specialist, but I would like to turn him into an offensive-minded player and I think he has the potential,” added Pumaren. “He has played second fiddle to Rabeh Al-Hussaini in Ateneo, but I think if he will be more involved in offense, he can produce.”

Acquiring Baclao, according to Pumaren, means they will fill in the huge hole at the middle, a problem for the team last season.

“We’re not only paling in comparison when it comes to talent, we’re also a small team, so by getting Baclao, at least it would improve our frontline,” said Pumaren.

Aside from Baclao, two more players are on his wish list, but Pumaren didn’t reveal their identities, preferring to wait until a deal has been sealed.

“We would like to add a steady point guard who can give direction to the team and another scorer, somebody who could help out Zach Graham once we bring him back for the third conference,” he added.

Graham will play for the Express anew in the season-ending Governors’ Cup where a 6-foot-5 height limit will be implemented.

Im new here in PEX, and i'm a Petron/SMB Fan. Just want to share my thoughts for this team.
If the rumors are true that Cap Olsen will be the next Head Coach and Danny S. will be back, I think for the coming All Filipino Conf, its better to give the shot to our veterans, Dorian, Danny I., Danny S.(if he's back), DonDon. Lets try to bring the Old Form of SMB, and maybe with this lineup, the teams future stars will learn how to play basketball. The teams roster is deep and athletic, but they need to learn their roles as what our veterans do during their prime.

Its not just about how the veterans teach the young ones during practice, but how they see our veterans play during actual games. How they decide during crucial period. and maybe thru this, the issues on Jwash and Arwind that they cant compliment can be solve (i think).

Regarding the draft picks, 1st pick is locked for Fajardo, and for he 3rd pick, again if the trades rumors are true, i think they should go for Chris Tiu. not a fan of Tiu, but with a star studded line up, Chris Tiu's Basketball IQ is fit for the team.

Just may simple thought for the team.

    P.S.
Cap Olsen can be a playing coach. kumpleto na ang first five ng team.

Baclao + "Shinobi" + "PPtx" = Air21's 2013 pick + "Pampanga's tres"

It is not because of the "arwind-Jwash" not working nor is there a problem with Jwash but it is primarily because of the number of Fil-ams that Petron is somewhat forced to give him up since they really want Danny S back. If Hodge will be available, they'll have to move him and give up another.
