We won't officially know the title until after Survivor: One World. But yes, Survivor (US) is currently filming at Camerines Sur.

'Survivor USA' films at Caramoan Islands

MANILA, Philippines – The picturesque Caramoan Islands in Camarines Sur have been selected as the filming location for the upcoming season of hit reality TV series, “Survivor USA.”

“Actually may 'Survivor' doon. It's a really big production but I cannot [give more details] because I signed a confidentiality agreement. It's is being filmed right now and it's going to air in September,” CamSur Gov. L-Ray Villafuerte said in a report on abs-cbnnews.com on March 27.

Villafuerte revealed that shooting started just last week and will run until August this year.

This hasn't been the first time that a “Survivor” production chose Caramoan Islands to "house" its castaways. According to an article by regional paper Bicol Mail published in January, the show’s French edition was the first to film on location in 2008. Israel, Bulgaria and Serbia followed in 2009. Sweden came next the following year, with Israel and Serbia returning to shoot again. Just last year, the islands played host to Denmark, Norway, Belgium and India.

More, the governor said that the “Survivor USA” production hired 400 locals.

“They pay them daily wage, they are hiring sasakyan, bangka at lahat ng local supplies doon ay binibili nila so grabe ang business in the locality,” he related.

On November 2011, USA network CBS confirmed renewing “Survivor USA,” still to be hosted by Jeff Probst, for the 25th and 26th seasons.

But apart from 25th season (the latest USA installment, dubbed “Survivor: One World,” currently airs), there have also been numerous speculations online claiming that the 26th will also be shot at the Caramoan Islands.

Quoted from the realityblurred.com article, "Caramoan, Philippines the location for Survivor 25, 26," posted on March 9, that the show’s “25th and 26th seasons will be filmed earlier than usual and start production soon, with crew members heading to the location this weekend. And while there’s been rampant speculation about what exactly these seasons will consist of, and how returning cast members will be included, there’s very little concrete information except that the show will be filmed in the Philippines, specifically in a place known as CamSur.”

Note that this report remains unverified as of this writing.

Meanwhile, Villafuerte confirmed in the same abs-cbnnews.com report that a Hollywood flick will also be shot in the province this year, but he begged off to reveal details.
