saw this picture of Jena and i could just imagine her hair with her parade costume, throwing her headpiece and getting naked on the elevator.di ko lang ma-imagine na sasapakin niya si JLaw so hard she starts to see stars.
sana naman we get solid casting news this month na, puro nalang rumors ang lumalabas.
Rumor: Victor Gojcaj and Kevin Durand Competing for Brutus
According to Shockya, the role of Brutus is down to two: Victor Gojcaj (left) and Kevin Durand (right). Yesterday, the rumor mill had put Kevin Nash in competition for the role as well. What do you think of either guy? I’ve never seen Victor in anything, but I do remember Kevin from Lost, so I could definitely see him as a Career victor.
I can't i just can't with all this rumors flying all over the web. parang nagpapalabas nalang sila ng kung anu ano para pampagulo lang.![]()

Rumor: Zoe Aggeliki in Lead for Johanna Mason Role
Last week, The Playlist reported a rumor that Zoe Aggeliki had auditioned to play Johanna Mason in ‘Catching Fire’. Today, Deadline reports that she is currently the frontrunner for the role.
Update: 4 days ago, Zoe tweeted she had to cut her European trip short to head to LA.Looks like we might have a Hunger Games winner. Zoe Aggeliki has the edge over Jena Malone for a role in Lionsgate‘s The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire. Aggeliki and Malone (Sucker Punch) are up for the part of Johanna Mason, an ax-welding, deceptive and ruthless winner of a previous Hunger Games in the sequel film. However, sources say model-actress Aggeliki is the one in the most serious talks after both auditioned for director Francis Lawrence.

Wala pa bang casting news dito excited na ako para kay Finnick hihihi gow-rah-bells gusto ko si Alex Pettyfer ang gumanap na Finnick Odair ako naman ang gaganap na Annie hihihi gow-rah-bells
nope, still no casting news. pero feeling ko may na-cast na di lang nila ni-rereveal since malapit na sila mag shoot eh, so the actors needs to prepare for the character na.
uhmm, how about no. Alex Pettyfer is an egotistical jerkbag. I can't see him fitting in with the cast. JLaw and the rest of the cast seems to be so down to earth and him? well im sure you already heard the news about him. If not then you can just search it on google and im sure madaming articles ang lalabas about his attitude.
Hunter Parrish ‘has been in talks’ with producers for Catching Fire
In an interview with MTV a couple of weeks back Hunter said he had not been actively pursuing the role of Finnick or getting his hopes up, but now an interview with The Daily Beast has emerged where Hunter revealed he has indeed had talks with producers:
Hunter also revealed how crushed he was to have missed out on the role of Peeta:His name has been thrown into the mix of potential actors to play the character of Finnick Odair in the sequel Catching Fire. This time, he’s much more cautious about getting his hopes up. He has been in talks with producers but doesn’t want to think about it too much. His eyes light up, however, as he considers the possibility. “It would be fun,” he says, unable to contain himself. “If Lionsgate (the company behind the film) wants to go for it, I’ll be there. I’ll be right there.”
Remember this does not necessarily mean that Hunter is a front runner for the role of Finnick. Support was mixed after the MTV interview, has anyone’s opinion changed in the last two weeks?“It was pretty hard. I really, really wanted it.” He says he felt like his whole life was leading up to that role and when he didn’t get it, he was crushed. “I think I just wanted it a little too much.” Looking back, he says, it was a hefty and much needed helping of humble pie. “It became a very grounding experience for me.”

We Have Our First Catching Fire Tribute! Jena Malone Officially Cast As Johanna Mason
Is it me, or does it seem like the Catching Fire producers are waiting til the very last minute to announce the cast? They’re supposed to start shooting in September (for next November’s release date), and so far we’ve met only one new cast member. But what an addition she is! Jena Malone has officially been offered the role of Johanna Mason, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Jena is in talks to accept the offer, which means we’re likely to have a fairly big name attached to the project. Moreso than an unknown like the other rumored frontrunner, model Zoe Aggeliki, anyway. Jena was last seen in the Civil War drama miniseries Hatfields & McCoys, which sort of matches Suzanne Collins‘ dystopian world. Except she better get ready to not be wearing any clothes, since our first introduction to Johanna has her stripping out of her tribute parade costume in a tantrum when she encounters Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) in the elevator.
Jena isn’t on Twitter as far as we know, but we hope that she joins up so she can emulate last year’s tributes like Leven Rambin and Amandla Stenberg in posting fun photos and videos of their on-set adventures. But before then, let’s find out who’s playing Finnick Odair and the other Quarter Quell victors!

Jena Malone In Talks For Catching Fire's Johanna Mason
With all the hubbub that arose over every aspect of The Hunger Games casting, the rapid-fire speculation and ongoing reports of who is going to snag what role in the sequel Catching Fire are to be expected. And in the latest round of Hollywood's reaping-related updates, THR declares early reports that newcomer Zoe Aggeliki was the film's frontrunner for the fan favorite role Johanna Mason, are dead wrong. Instead—insists the trade—it's Sucker Punch star Jena Malone who is currently in early negotiations to play the fiery tribute from District 7.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be an adaptation of Suzanne Collins second novel about Katniss Everdeen and the peasants of Panem's continued struggle against the cruel and calculating Capitol. Having infuriated the dastardly President Snow with her remarkable victory, Katniss in thrown back into the Hunger Games to fight for her life a second time. Johanna Mason is one of her competitors, and though a relatively minor figure in the books, she is rabidly beloved by fans because of her sassy nature and smirking humor.
Memorably, Johanna strips totally naked—save some green slippers—in front of a freaked-out Katniss in an elevator, just to get a reaction. While this particular scene may not make it into director Francis Lawrence's interpretation of the YA novel, it still gives a good insight to the kind of wild card energy fans will expect from whichever actress wins the role. To that end, Malone—who has been spunky and sharp in Saved! and Pride & Prejudice—seems a solid choice for the part. Of course, with this being only the beginning of talks, it's too soon to say she's a lock.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is expected to go into production late September.
lol this title is kind of a throw off since wala pang official announcement ang Lionsgate. Jenna Malone is still in early negotiations pero feeling ko tatanggapin din niya. she has been posting nature related pictures of her on her instagram account already.
