Thanks for sharing your thoughts Dragonei.

I think what you are trying to point out is yung excessive "dependence" nating mga pinoy, parang lagi na lang tayong umaasa sa mga grasyang darating.

Naniniwala ako na "majority of things happening in our lives are due to our own actions and inactions."

Anyway, I would like to share with you an article that may give explanation as to why innovations lag behind in developing countries such as our country:

Reasons Behind Lack of Innovation in Third World Countries

A Damaged Culture, New Philippines? 1987 pa sinulat yung article

    ^Interesting.

So ibig sabihin, nothing has changed much since then.

Hanggang ngayon kasi, we can say that we are still "Damaged". I hope everyone will do their part in this society.

Remember the saying that if you point your finger to someone 3 are pointing back to you.

I, myself, agree with this, but I want to gather and develop more insights regarding this.

    1. What are your personal opinion regarding why Philippines is lagging behind in terms of economic progress and development?

    2. What is hindering us in achieving what neighboring countries are achieving?

This is also one of the most striking statements of the article for me:

And this one really made me think, that the author has a point.

I want to hear from you guys.

    1. Gipit masyado ang mga importers/exporters/traders/corporations and other businesses na walang suporta ng gobyerno. Too much corruption, madaming govt.agencies, daming partylist at palpak na judiciary system ang daming nasasayang na oras at panahon sa pagproseso ng papeles. napanood mo na ba yung history ni mao tse tung?

I agree with you on "madaming party list". Karamihan pa rito walang "focus". Kumbaga, they often don't know what they stand for. Kung ano ang "uso" un *** ipaglalaban nila, something like that.

I agree with "some". And, I'm not pretty sure, kung saan aspect yung tinutukoy mo. Hehe! Saan nga ba?
