I know this thread is a bit old but I'm still hoping to get responses. I also tried applying for transfer admission to UST-AMV College of Accountancy last summer. Initially, they would require you to submit copy of your grades from your previous school (which should have an average of not lower than 1.50) along with a letter of intent addressed to the College Dean (Ma'am Minerva Cruz if my memory serves me right) which I did (2 pages pa nga eh) Then they would just ask you to follow-up on the result of their initial evaluation (basta tawag lang daw ng tawag) It took them more than a month before I was finally informed of my status as qualified to take their entrance exam – too late for I was already enrolled in another school, a school who did give credits to all my previous academic works, as in lahat hence, my 4th year standing which is the chief reason why I enrolled (for the Financial Mgt Acctg though coz I was really hesitant of their BSA program though they’ve produced couple of topnotchers on the May 2012 board exam). I’d hate to say this, but I kinda regret my decision. That’s why I’m planning to just finish the BSBA-FMA degree and move to a school way better than my present one. SBC is on top of my list. I wonder if omod and daniel_09 pursued their plan of applying as 2nd degree applicants to UST-AMV and what the outcome was. I’d also want to know if SBC is strict when it comes to admitting 2nd degree applicants. Thanks to those who can share their insights!![]()
may entrance exam pa ba pag mag apply for 2nd degree with SBCA? Im planning to take up accounting next school year.![]()
Hi everyone! I'm looking for an Accounting Clerk for Sunglass Hut Philippines (full-time position and direct hire). pm me if your interested. thank you!
Maganda ang Accountancy ng san Beda. One of the best, consistently producing topnotchers and always in the top performing school.
sa anak ko, ang passing rate ng batch nila is about 75%
what's more is that after graduating sa accountancy sa San Beda, you will get invitation letters from big companies to apply for work
Hi, bsba-computer applications from csb here. i just graduated last october 2012. and i have decided to take up accountancy as my second course.. I am choosing between DLSU and San Beda. Btw my application in DLSU is already good to go, theyre just waiting for my requirements. But i am still having second thoughts if i will enroll there because one of their policies is that, only 50% of my creditable subjects will be credited to my second undergraduate degree. And my brother, who is studying accountancy in san beda, informed me that all of my general subjects will be credited according to the admissions.
Is it true na macredit lahat ng general subjects? kasi sayang naman kung hindi, unang una is yung time, pangalawa is yung pera.. I understand that my accounting subjects that i have taken in my first degree will not be credited because accountancy programs have a certain standard for it.
Any ideas? thanks
