    Kumusta ang Accountancy sa SBC?

Ask ko lang kasi i want to take up accountancy as my 2nd degree. So Pinagpipilian ko ay UST or SBC.

around my time which was 2 years ago, tuition was around 45k.

Although coming from a bedan, there are alot of schools that has a better accountancy program than san beda. Yet still it has its own advantages like:

    1. Most of the auditing firms have high ranking bedan officers so apparently there is a slight advantage in the hiring process.

    2. Unless your direction of career is audit, the program is best for a pre-law course. again the best. (you'll know why)

    3. one of the best board operations. (like giving you food and medicine when taking the CPA exam)

    4. Most of the professors are reviewers from various review schools.

    i just signed up.

actually, i'm looking for a school to transfer. i am an accountancy student and i've already got 23 units (since i'd only taken 1 sem from my prev school). i want to transfer because i aint satisfied with my prev university (UE). now, i'm choosing from UST and San Beda.
i'm not sure with UST yet because many say that it's hard to transfer there, so if ever, im gonna transfer here.

so anyways, is it hard to transfer here? is there any scholarship grants here? my grades are fine, no 2.

and is its matriculate also ranging in UST's?

Mag 2nd degree din ako ng accountancy eh. Sa UST mahirap pumasok pero dun gusto ko ayaw nila ako tanggapin pero magpass lagn daw ako ng ToR.

Second choice ko din ang SBC. Parehas tayo.

hello! im taking up accountancy in san beda as ny 2nd degree. without bias, sbc is one of the best. though they are still aiming to have a separate college just for the program.

to be honest some professors' performance can be poor because they lack experience, its better if you self study. however, they do boast very qualified and experienced professors/faculty too. such as zenaida manuel, norma de leon, and dante dela cruz.

    1. i think the transfer process is fine here and also they let the minor subjs already taken be credited. not sure about the major subjs though.

    2. yes, there are scholarship grants.

    3. not sure about the tuition. but I heard that program in UST is already 5 years? not sure. actually, I dont see the point why it has to be 5 years.

Hey guys! Bakit puro na lang tungkol sa accountancy program ang kinukumusta sa san beda?
How about those other programs out there like marketing? entrep? finma? psych? it seems that walang nakikibalita sa mga course na yan.

Btw, newbie here. incoming 4th year entrep in san beda manila.

not being biased or anything.. admitted naman sa SBC CAS na ang accountancy ang flagship program ng college. Siguro.. kasi ito lang yung isa sa mga undergrad courses na may metrics of performance after graduation, in particular, the board exams. Yun lang po.

    good to here.
Actually, even in my prev school, 5 yrs n rin sila, kahit sa ibang colleges/universities (correct me if i'm wrong). nagtataka nga lang ako here kasi 4 yrs pa rin BSA dito. although *** mga produkto ng beda nakikisabayan na rin sa mga 5yrs grad.

i just saw from other threads na CAS's tuition (w/ misc) is around 50-60k? is it too high for a mid-class college? sa UST 40k+ lang. parang DLSU-M na rin ano. (off-topic)

i think inispread lang ng uste yung curriculum and they try to take the slow and easy approach.. para mapreserve ang passing percentage nila.
not saying his is bad or wrong.. just my honest opinion being able to be on both sides.
