Normal Blood pressure for 78 yr old male

Asking for my dad. Would appreciate answers from members here specially doctors lalo na kung cardiologist kahit hindi cardio kung alam help na rin.

From what I know For adults ( NOT sure if applies to elderly males over 75yr of age )

    ----------------AT REST
    NORMAL BP ----------- 120/70 to 120/80
HIGH NORMAL BP----- 130/80 to 140/90
    HIGH BP---------------- 140/90 and over

AT REST normal Pulse rate is 60 to 80/ minute

So what is the NORMAL BP and HIGH NORMAL BP range for a 78 yr old man when at rest be it sitting on a chair relaxed on inclined in a bed. Di naman bed ridden.

When a person his age is doing his regular non streneous activities ( walking, mild exercise/stretching... ) what should be his maximim BP and pulse rate ans still be still on a safe range ?

His avg resting BP with medication (cozaar, catapres & Norvasc )

    120/70 Bp pulse(regular rhythm ) is 53 to 55 /minute with 25 mg betaloc

    130/80 Bp pulse(regular rhythm ) is 58 to 60/minute with 18.75mg betaloc

140/80 or sometimes 140/90 BP pulse( regular rhythm )is 65 to 70/minute if NO betaloc.

Ive yet to test his bp after typical activities as described above

Thank you and God bless to those who will respond
