    Bold: rookies/returnees
    Italicized: ineligible this year
    * ineligeble next year

    Malamang ito narin lineup natin for this year minus Victor saka isang Point Guard.

    Tignan palang yung naka-asterisk makikita mo kung bakit kelangan si Asilum. Next year matitirang guard nalang natin ay sina Mikee at Jett. Magandang OJT para sa kanya pag nasama siya sa lineup this year. Naka-linya pa for next year sina Kyle Suarez (AHS) and Kim Cinco (UPIS).

    Hindi rin naman nagkukulang sa pag-recruit ng Big Men sina Coach Manny. Sinabi na nga dito na me 2 Cameroonians na nag-residency (isa na si Victor). Tapos this year eligible na mag-laro sina Chris Ball (6'7") saka Raul Suyod (6'4") na upgrade daw mula last year's bench relievers. Sama mo pa si Gallarza (6'3"), pero mas-SF daw laro nito.

    Makapanalo man lang sila ng 3-5 games (babaan expectations) masaya na ako. Pero mas masaya Final 4 syempre. Wag lang 0-14 ulit.

    Its was good to know that UP is recruting intesively getting players from various parts. From PG to C position may mga ini scout sila to recruit. If they recruited the right talents it will just fall on how they will develop it and keep those recruits. Fearless forecast this year, number 5 or 6 of the standing, bonus na yung F4 appearance. Anyhow, good luck to UP Fighting Maroons.

    The team is already made up of hardened veterans. It's a case of "it's now or never."

    ^I think continous pa rin naman pag iikot nila for recruitment. From South and probaly they have scouts on the on-going Palarong Pambansa sa Pangasinan. Madami din talents dun for sure.

    Having good number of veterans does'nt necessarily mean its their best line up na. It will come down on how they will play the game.

    For the players with asterisk ni Pongpagong may mga player from PG to C na mawawala come 2013-2014 season. UP have Asilum that wll truly mature by that time, they will have Victor who despite listed at 6'8 can bring down the ball mala Durant and have a good shot stroke from the otuside...trust me on this guys..hehehe. Ball may have a hard time playing center but he will be a good forward. After Ball, UP may have Joel, a 6'4 guy who can play PG-PF position. He can be a walking mis-match if the coaches will know how to utilize him. Ganun din kay Victor, may quickness siya that can pass thru guards and center of the UAAP because of his ball handling skills.

    Mahusay itong si asilum, mataas ang basketball IQ. Di tulad ni silungan na nagiging trigger happy na. Ball and lopez should shoot more attempts, mataas ang FG% nila. Pls give an upset, UP!

    wala bang UP Men's Basketball Thread dito sa UAAP?

    OT: Nagagalingan ako kay Henry Asilum. Kung babalik si Mikee Reyes next year sana mag-jive ang performance nila.

    Sana ang UP management ay maging aggressive sa pagkuha ng rookies.

    Si Bruce Quebral pala ay former UP MBT member. Nabasa ko lang din sa PEX noong 2005.
