RPG
Fighting games (lalo na pag galit hahahaha)
Almost all genre gave me a satisfying gaming experience.... except sports. Honestly, I'd get bored so bad when I try to play an NBA or a Fifa game.
rpgs with great stories, BG, Neverwinter Nights, the Witcher, that kind.
diablo and the likes - i enjoy these games, but i don't get anything from them emotionally /intellectually.
jrpg...
and some rts
at kung sang genre man pasok ang city-building games except sims..
A couple of years back I'd say RPGs or action/adventure games ala Resident Evil without hesitation. These days mas ok sakin yung games which you can quickly pick up without those long stories. So its NBA 2k12 for me and DOTA. Ok din yung simple puzzle games like "Where's the water" or games like "the incredible machine".

Definitely RPG and strategy, and generally anything that provides more replay value and variety.
Simulation is the imitation of the operation of a real-world process or system over time.
Found my box of classic games in the garage and re-installed them (ie. Independence War, Tron 2.0, X-Wing vs. Tie-Fighter, 688 - submarine warfare, Jane's Anthology of Fighters), and a couple of flight controllers still functioning very well (Saitek Cyborg USB 3D Gold and XBox 360 Ace Combat 6 Ace Edge - also known as Saitek HOTAS X45).
Rts games.
Warcraft, Starcraft, CoH. I also loved playing Diablo 2 and Fallout 3.
Sense of Achievement - RPG's
Relieve Stress - Sports games specifically NHL games
RPG and strategy din
point and click to a lesser extent
rpg,
I prefer wrpgs over japanese ones, since I touched baldur's gate years ago
strategy,
mas prefer ko yung hindi combat ang focus,
like Anno, X3, Crusader Kings, Football Manager
point and click if I want stories that's as good with what I get from books
also, if the setting/atmosphere is intriguing, I'll give it a try,
like Metro, STALKER, AssCreed
least interested ako sa action based games,
like God of War, Devil May Cry types
