Facts. I like facts. Can't argue with that. You are telling the truth..finally. However, you should have started counting arbitrarily in 2007 so it will look much better for beda.

As far as the boardroom (I assume you are talking about MANCOM) is concerned here are the facts:
Letran is not MANCOM. there are 9 other reps there (including beda). It seems that this group including your rep seems to always gang up on beda.

Why does this group hate beda so much?

From the Aljamal case, to the Ekwe uniform case, to the SSC volleyball female player punching case, to the PROPOSED banning of foreign players (even though nobody seems to favor it). These seem to all be false accusations by MANCOM. Seems that everybody's just ganging up on San Beda. reason: everybody's jealous of beda's success, sour grapes, etc. beda is the ultimate victim. Oh poor beda. Why is there such conspiracy against beda? beda is the best and yet they are also victims and are always prosecuted. Such a nice story- very melodramatic - perhaps there should be a telenovela about beda: Beda - a love story.

You guys maybe mistaking me for someone else. I have nothing about schools getting imports. I don't support Lana's letter like other letranites. You can do whatever you want. I believe any team has the right to hire imports if that's what makes them happy. What bothers me are teams that have a good import and if they win primarily due to the import , they downplay that import's role. It is hypocritical.

As far as William Johnson is concerned, yes he played for LEtran but I am not sure if he is not half pinoy. But if he is not half pinoy so what? As I said I am not against teams having imports. The current coach does not believe in it so be it that is his decision and we respect that. Johnson's coach -Reyes - policy was more open assuming Johnson is a foreigner, that is fine too.

What bothers me are hypocrites and pretenders as well as people with victim's mentality.

Mahirap siguro sabihin na nag champion ang san beda dahil lang sa import, siguro nakatulong siya sa team pero hindi natin pwede sabihin na dahil sa import kaya nag champion. 5 on 5 ang larong basketball. Aminin natin padre na kahit ang 3rd stringer sa lineup ng san beda ilagay natin sa perpetual e sigurado may tyansang makapasok sa final four.

Sa totoo kahit ako naiinis na din dahil taon taon nalang laging san beda ang contender, gusto ko din iba naman, pero wala tayong magagawa dahil sadyang maganda ang programa nila at iwan na iwan na ang iba. At sa mga nangyayari naman na kung saan sangkot ang san beda, kahit sino naman siguro hindi maaalis sa isipin natin na may halong malisya talaga yung naging decision na pinatawan at lalong lalo na yung gustong imungkahi ng pari mula sa letran.

So? If WIlliam Johnson was the topscorer, rebounder, I have no problem saying he is the main reason why Letran won: that Letran would probably lose without him, that we relied on an import (if he is an import).

If you are referring to the volleyball incident, I have no problem with the Lim sanction because he has a history of doing this. Concerning the players getting suspended, I have no clue of why. I am not aware of the reasoning given given toward their suspension.

once again this is a case where Letran's own student body does not appear to be in agreement with the Rector's plea or whatever you want to call it. As I said, I have a feeling this will not get approved anyway. And in case it does, as one beda poster here reiterated, beda has already shown they can win all-filipino so I am really surprised about the prevailing insecurity, conspiracy theories, and victims mentality prevailing here. Beda, you are the best right now. All-filipino or with import. Whatever the motives are, conspiracy or not, your attitude should be: let them. We have and will again prove we can win because we have a good program. Period.

1. the sanction to Lim and Gorayeb is fine, talagang nag away sila, but for the other players of SBC like except Marcelo, it has yet to be proven na may sala sila, if the Mancom decision were levied only to coach Lim and marcelo, i dont think there will be any negative remarks, however that is clearly not the case, now re the SBC rep yes there is always one, however i dont think he can vote on matters concerning SBC directly, he is doing his job, if you will remember last year when the mancom meeting was hijack with the inclusion in the portion other business with the topic of not allowing foreign players, nag katraiduran dun. and LEtran has always been against foreign players but they love foreign (specifically Koreans) enrolled to learn english coz they make money out of it.

Basketball is a team game, 5on5 Baste won over SBC without a foreign players, JRU failed to win a crown with 2, in the other league, good teams like FEU (2 imports), UST, Adamson, NU, all have tall foreign players yet they all fell victim to ADMU with a midget long as their import.
