Sayang nga, bronze lang siya ngayon compared sa 2004 at 2008 na gold medalist siya.

since 1996 Olympics, China had won 19 of the 20 golds at stake. I will no longer be surprised if this sport will be discontinued in the 2020 Olympics.

they got rid sa softball dahil dominated daw ng US.. pero ang table tennis nandyan parin.. the power of the chinese politics!

hindi rin, matatanggal din yan dahil sa so-called European bloc votes. hindi din naman masyado sikat ang table tennis sa Europe. sa tingin ko, kaya lang hindi natanggal yan sa 2016 kasi Sweden and Germany are influencing the Europeans to retain the sport. pero tignan na lang natin kung ma-reretain pa yan sa 2020 Olympics because beach soccer and roller sports are slowly making some noise sa sporting world.

    Olympic notes

1.) Misty Elizabeth May-Treanor - Kerri Walsh of the United States became the most successful tandem in Olympic beach volleyball after winning their third consecutive gold medal. so dominant in this pair that they only lost one set in those three Olympic appearances.

2.) China had swept the women table tennis competition for 6 consecutive Olympic Games.

magpa-free happy meal kaya ulit ang McDo dito? anyways, mas masarap naman yung kina manang na 'kwey tiao' (noodles) sa kalye lang

whilst boxer Kaeo Pongprayoon advances to the light flyweight SFs, he will face Russia's David Ayrapetyan.

Thailand has always won golds in boxing.

If you have a choice then I suggest you watch the athletics telecast at Solar Sports or Aksyon TV ch 59 (Not to be confused with AKTV ch 15). The commentators there are foreign and definitely know what they are talking about. Plus they give out a detailed background of each athlete, personal bests, season bests etc.. Infos that you cannot get from Filipino commentators even if they make their research.

If you put two basketball or boxing commentators in a sport that they hardly know about, sooner or later they will be talking rubbish just like what happened to the weightlifting telecast last week.

I could imagined what Jolas and Miko will say if they will cover the athletics relay event.

with 10 seconds to go, Yohan Blake is running a fastbreak then passes the stick to Usain Bolt for the easy lay-up.

I don't think table tennis will be removed, nagiinvest na rin ibang European countries diyan.

eh kung malakas ang 1 bansa dahilan dapat pala alisin na lang natin basketball sa olympics tutal US lang naman ang nanalo diyan
