naku po wala! mas importante sa kanila yung skills eh.. kahit nga 16 ka pa lang you can easily put na of legal age ka na.. pero syempre your skills have to back up you..

ganito lang po kasi yun e... di ba yung mga large scale companies like AT&T, HSBC, etc... ay nagha-hire ng mga call centers dito sa atin.. nagagawa nila yun kasi malalaking compqnies sila eh... kumbaga yung mga nasa Elance ay nasa Small at kahit papaano naman medium scale companies.. since di naman sila ganun kalaki na mga companies, di nila afford mag-hire ng mga malalaking centers dito sa atin at sa ibang lugar so naghaha-hire sila ng paunti-unti sa Elance.. kumbaga din imbes mag-hire sila directly doon, mas nakakatipid sila sa pagha-hire ng mga nasa Elance.. ganun lang po nakikita ko eh..

ako po di ko pa kinukuha sa Elance account ko nagiipon po kasi ako P45thou hanggang June para sa tuition ng kapatid ko at so far mukha naman po maiipon ko before mag June....tiyagaan lang talaga..

opo referral kita pero hindi naman pera makukuha ko eh.. kapag may successful referral ako, makakakuha ako ng "10 connects" at yung nirefer ko "10 connects" din.. bale yung sinasabi ko po na"connects", ganito po yun.. once registered ka na sa Elance, meron ka 10 connects.. yung connects na yun parang virtual coin siya na ibabayad mo everytime mag aapply ka.. isang Job na pagpapasahan mo ng application, isang connect ang mababawas sa iyo.. tapos kung naubos na pwede ka bumili sa Elance PERO imbes bumili at magbayad, pwede ka magrefer para madagdagan yung connects mo.. every referral, 10 connects for you at sa referral niyo.. kung sino man po may gusto i-post niyo lang dito sa thread yung link niyo para makakuha din kayo referral or post niyo sa FBs niyo..

oo malakai talaga pero optimistic naman ako na maiipon ko pa rin..

tapos paano ka nila na pick para mag work ka sa kanila? at paano nila namomonitor yung work mo sa kanila?

bale po kasi nagwowork ako sa isang BPO sa makati.. fulltime then ginagawa ko yung work ko after shift pero madalas kapatid ko na pinagagawa ko.. di naman nalalaman ng client eh, at madali lang naman..

nagulat nga din ako kasi ako napili siguro dahil sa tests na naipasa ko at sa profile ko na din at sa offer ko.. marami kasi nag bid sa job na yun ng $5-$10 per hour, ako $3 lang.. okay na din di ba..

bale ang sa contract po ay 30 hours per week pero ako na bahala paano ko mapupunan yun.. bale yung sa 30 hours per week ko ay times $3 is $90 then times mo sa P43 ay P3870 per week din.. isang job pa lang yun, eh yung ibang filipinos nga sa Elance 4 pa work sa isang araw, tutal nasa bahay lang eh..

may ida-download ka na Elance timer.. parang virtual timer/timecard siya na oorasan yung time logged in mo sa work at what time ka nag log out.. may capability rin siya mag take ng screen shot ng pc mo for the client to see kung ginagawa mo nga work mo sa hours na logged in ka.. kasi unfair naman kung naka logged in ka tapos kung ano ano naka open sa screen mo like FB or youtube di ba?hehe..

sa ngayon po may pinasok ako na contract 9 months siya pero would require me to be at home from 10pm to 6am for 1 month for the paid training.. bale yung training thru skype ginagawa.. AT&T siya na prepaid distributor.. parang CSR pero mid april pa start.. at since may new headset na ako na nabili ko sa CDRking for P280..hehe.. puro CSR at home na ina-applyan ko kaya di malayo na umalis na din ako sa company ko at mag full time pero kailangan pa pag isipan mabuti syempre.. iba pa rin kasi yung nasa company ka.. pero basta bahala na.. $2 per hour lang kasi siya eh for training then magiging $3.5 per hour after passing it.. 9 months contracts with 60 hours per week.. kung tutuusin kung ka-career-in ko lang pwede ako magka work ng 3 to 4 eh na nasa bahay lang.. mas doble pa sa kita ko sa company kaso nga lang di ko ma give up lalo na po preggy na ako for 6 months na at sayang yung maternity benefits.. pero siguro kapag naka maternity leave na ako at nasa bahay na for 2 months pwede na i-career muna..hehe..

I would advice po tingnan niyo profile ng mga filipinos doon.. ganun lang din ginawa ko to have an idea kung paano aayusin yung profile ko and again mag take kayo ng tests.. madami doon.. at kung may mga sample works kayo i-upload niyo para maging reference din ng mga nagpopost ng job na aapplyan niyo

naku po registering is entirely free! basic plan lang po kunin niyo.. yung ibang plan may bayad eh.. kahit wala ka paypal.. gaya ko, naka connect lang BPI account ko para doon ko pwede ilipat sweldo ko sa Elance.

again po kahit sino pwede mag register sa Elance just like the others kahit wala na credit card..

naku sana naman meron na.. ubos na po ba yung "connects" mo? i mean di ka na ba makapag apply? post mo sa FB mo or twitter or even dito sa PEX para kapag may narefer ka po madagdagan yung connects mo.

While it's true po na medyo di madali makakuha ng work BUT everything that you can do on your part wins half of the battle. Like what I said po, you can make your profile more eye-catching to clients by uploading sample works.. of course they have to be relevant.. passing, or even topping skills tests.. and bidding for a reasonable price..
