    Thumbs up J.Co Donuts

J.Co Donuts from Indonesia finally arrived in the Philippines!

Yesterday, they launched the newest donut place at The Strip, SM Megamall. Yummy donuts and frappes are in store.

Here is the PR from yesterday's release

It’s not everyday when a cozy hangout with great offerings and equally great ambience comes along. But today, Pinoy coffee and donut lovers now have a new place to savor their favorite goodies right in the heart of the Metro.

J.CO Donuts and Coffee is the latest gastronomic wonder to rise in The Strip in SM Megamall. The international premium brand redefines the country’s lifestyle café scene with its trademark donut treats and fresh brews, not to mention its impeccable service and truly relaxing atmosphere.

J.CO prides itself with an array of delectable and freshly made donuts that will keep donut fans of all ages coming back for more. The secret lies in the best ingredients sourced from around the world: Belgian chocolates, Californian almonds, American honey, New Zealand cheese, and Japanese Matcha green tea. These flavorful fixings bring out a whole new adventure in savoring that good old donut.

Complementing J.CO’s mouth-watering donuts are cups after cups of stimulating coffees. Trained baristas are on hand to perk up one’s day with exciting brews made from select Italian Roasted Arabica coffee.

Of course, these flavorsome offerings are best enjoyed in a place that bespeaks comfort. J.CO’s relaxing ambience sets the tone for a cozy retreat or a laid back gathering where good food and good times go perfectly well together.

These signature offerings have made J.CO a highly popular lifestyle café chain throughout Southeast Asia. It first opened in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2005 with the thrust to fuse the popular donuts of the West with the exotic touches of the East. The result is a breakthrough brand in the lifestyle café sector. Other countries in the Asian region soon got into the J.CO craze, including Malaysia, Singapore and, more recently, Shanghai in China.

Today, the Philippines welcomes J.CO with eager anticipation. Its flagship store in SM Megamall opens its doors on March 15, 2012 with a special treat for the first 200 customers to visit the store starting at 9am.

Be part of the exciting J.CO journey and experience a whole new way in enjoying coffee, yogurt and of course, donut.

I read about it too that they will open on March 15. I believe their opening should be sometime in February but it was moved.

I will be trying this perhaps this weekend. It would be a great alternative to Cello's doughnuts. I am not really into Krispy Kreme.

I was in the soft opening in Megamall last Wednesday, although I've tried it before. I recommend the Alcapone doughnut topped with almond slivers, and the cheese doughnut which looks like ensaymada. The rest are pretty sweet, slightly less sweet than Krispy Kreme. The yogurt is tart, which I like, since I hate sweet, ice-cream-tasting yogurt.

They also serve coffee and blended drinks.

Halos ka price pala sya ng KK. P45 isa.

Nakita ko na coming soon din sya sa Greenbelt and Alabang Town Center. Nalalayuan kasi ako sa Megamall kaya di ko pa sya na ta-try pero na cu-curious ako dun sa may mga almonds.

Sarap ng Al Capone and green tea donut.

Everything's good except yung packaging nila. Ayaw akong payagan nung front staff nila to use 4 half-dozen boxes even though I'm purchasing 2 dozens. They'll charge me per box daw and not the 2 dozen price. Sa KK kasi sila pa nagooffer nun. It's easier to carry that way kasi for me since nagcocommute lang ako. Other than that, ok naman.

I"m not a fan. Mas gusto ko pa rin ang Dunkin.

Dito sa SG, hindi ko type lasa ng donuts and flavors nila.

Their donuts are 42 PhP a piece, 230 PhP for a box of six, and 350 PhP for a dozen.

I'll try them kapag may $$$ na.

Masarap yung donuts at hindi masyado matamis! Daming pang flavors kaya I must go back to try them all. Plus points pa yung froyo nila.

    yummm!!
mas like ko toh..compared sa Krispy Kreme..kasi it's not too sweet...sakto lang..

    super yummy talaga!!

    will definitely go back there!

Where in Megamall exactly is their store?

  14. #14
    J. Co. is good but I like Kripy Kreme more. Since walang KK dito sa SG, mas gugustuhin kong mag J.Co. kaysa mag- Dunkin Donut or Donut Factory. LOL
