NCAA brings it on, goes head-to-head with UAAP

The NCAA is clashing head-on with the UAAP as the former decided to hold its basketball games the same days as that of the latter on a new television partner in TV5 through its sports channel AKTV on IBC 13.

Sosyal! me out of town ang NCAA..posibleng gayahin din yan ng abs cbn since may sister campus ang uaap schools sa provinces!

  4. #4
IMHO, nasa Maynila pa rin ang karamihan ng nanonood ng UAAP Basketball - and that is mostly composed of the students of the member schools.

The NCAA could only get a fraction of the viewership, I think.

the uaap wants to stay exclusive sa eight schools. i doubt gagawin ng liga na mag out of town rin...

we will see what will happen sa head on ng uaap and ncaa

    sa basketball:
    uaap - thursday, saturday, sunday
ncaa - monday, thursday, saturday (tentative)

    sa volleyball:
    uaap - wednesday, saturday, sunday

DLSU and ADMU is the only crowd drawer sa uaap.

That will change now since magkatapat na ang both leagues.

i guess, UAAP can afford to have its own TV.

How about Ateneo and La Salle?

    If ever, Features the following:

    1. all the UAAP sports events
    2. relevant academic activities and achievements ng bawat member
    3. news reporting (both local and international) na relevant sa students and Universities (as corporate and academic entities).
    4. students' lifestyle talk shows etc.
    5. academic researches ng foreign universities

    and the likes

    For sure may sponsors yan.

Off topic lang, walang TV Station ang UST, TV Studio meron sa EdTech which we use also (as well with Tomcat) during TV Prod classes.

Anyway, only time will tell kung matagumpay ang project na yan.
