Depende sa course siguro, pero pagkakaalam ko pag masters, unlike sa undergrad na may mga sobrang mahal at sobrang mura ng fees, dito almost same lang.
Like sa course ko, sa isang school may 2000 per unit; may 1800 naman, pinakambaba nakita ko 1500. Per semester expect about 20-28k siguro pag full time ka (9 to 12 units)

Oo. Pero pwede din na hindi, provided may mapapakita kang proof of competency like related working experience sa itatake mong masters.

Sa ibang schools, pinapayagan nila kahit hindi related ang undergrad degree mo sa kukunin mong masters degree, pero kailangan mong kumuha ng pre-requisite subjects na undergrad level nun bago ka makakuha ng graduate level subjects.

Oo. Pwede kang pumasok sa government affiliated research institutions or sa mga multinational companies/NGO's.

Parang magkakambal kasi ang research and teaching, kaya karamihan pagkatapos ng Ph. D nagtutro sa mga universities.

mas maganda *** MA in Urban ang Regional Planning ng UPD kung gusto mong ma-immersed sa practice ng urban planning.

If matapos mo ang masters at may related work experience, you may take a Board Exam as an Environmental Planner. Check the details in PRC website

Hmm, I don't know kung anong mga jobs ang qualified as to the field of Urban Planning.

Pero sa ngayon, I'm torn between ADMU's MA Economics and DLSU's MA in Development Policy. I don't know which one I'll choose, magiinquire palang ako kung pwede humabol ng 2nd semester sa ADMU (conflicting yung nakasulat sa website nila), while pwedeng humabol sa 2nd term sa DLSU.

Depends on the program. Sa program ko walang sat sun classes, puro weekdays pero the schedules are usually late afternoon or evening. If there are sat sun classes, mapipilitan kang ienroll lang ang kung anong meron.

siguro dapat mo tanungin ang school where you enrolled your masters if you can re-enroll with your thesis writing subject again and work at it until you finish it with defense. sayang naman di ba?

I'm still an undergrad but what requirements does the graduate committee (is that what they're called?) usually ask for applicants? Especially for prospective students in sciences?

TOR, application form, photos, resume, recommendation letters from your undergrad professors, good moral certificate, some course will ask for ur GPA. Sa interview, the crucial question will be why r u taking the masters? ur purpose and career direction

Master's with thesis can easily enroll to doctoral courses while those who took the non thesis course decided to enroll in the doctoral courses, kailangan muna mag thesis dahil pre requisite yun. You are not allowed to pursue doctoral studies kung wala kang thesis in your masteral.

About to take my PhD pero Im still not sure. I think Im way too young to get one even if I may be qualified. I think Id pimp up my CV first before taking it. Andami ko na kasing nakitang mga batang may PhD na mejo hindi naman maganda yung prePhD CV tapos nagsstruggle na to get publications, etc.

How old are you? Mas maganda nga yung mas maaga ka mag-MS/PhD para fresh pa sa utak mo yung napag-aralan mo nung undergrad. Ang problema lang naman sa PhD eh yung publication. You really have to wait on the journal's reply to your article submission, so choose a journal that replies quickly and yet at the same time mataas din ang impact factor.

or better yet, get it abroad kung may scholarship lang sana.

Try inquiring at the foreign embassies, they usually have scholarship offerings. I got mine from JICA and MEXT. Oh and again mas maaga mas maganda kasi most scholarships have a cut-off of at most 35yo when you enter gradschool (meaning dapat at most 35 ka when you start taking MS or PhD). But not too early, kailangan may emotional maturity ka na rin kasi you will be living alone in a foreign land.

Pwede ka consultant or be a researcher for research institutions or private companies. Although ideally you should share your knowledge and expertise to the next generation.

i have a question.. sino may idea about graduate studies ng MLQU? manuel L quezon university? advisable ba na magenrol dun? i am planning kase to take either psych or guidance and counseling doon. my primary reason is tuition fee. pero maganda ba in terms of teaching? sana may makasagot.
