I have already followed-up my application thru e-mail and this is the reply that i got. Should i just wait or just forget my application? I've been interviewed already last june 5 and i haven't even received the predictive index thing..

Hi. I would like to share my experience of my application with Solaire Manila. My friends and I attended the Job Caravan @ SM Sucat last July 27, 2012. We went there around 11 am and fortunately we were able to enter the Job Fair ( BTW they did not entertain all applicants ) I just don't know what were their basis. After entering the Hall, one of the HR personell approached us and get our names for the Physical Screening for Front Liner Position ( I applied for VIP Host Position BTW ). They get our Height and Weight measurement, teeth checking (if I am wearing dentures) and checked my arms if I have visible tatoos which is not allowed for the Post. After that, Initial Interview with one of the Casino Personnel, It took me 5 mins for the Interview. She just checked my resume, and my height (Major Requirement for the Post) and I Passed the Initial Interview. We had a Group Dynamics together with other Applicants. We Just had a group activity to determine our personalities with group discussions and the like. 2 out of 14 Applicants did not passed the Group Dynamics. We finished around 12 Noon and we were asked to come back after lunch for the Final Interview. We took our lunch and we came back at 2 pm. I was in Interviewed by one the Executives of the Casino (Chinese Nationality and I forgot the Name) and It was a very tough 20 minute-Interview. I was told that someone from the HR Department will call after 2 weeks. Fortunately, My friends and I all GOT IN! Whooah! We were 5 (2 VIP Hosts and 3 Casino Dealers). I got called last Monday for a Job Proposal but unfortunately I wasn't able to come yesterday because of the weather.

There are Rumors that for VIP Service Host Position, these will be the tentaive Salary

Relocation Package - Might be applicable for provincial applicants / employees. Since they hire applicants Nationwide, Lodging might me included on their Salary.

When it comes to relocation package, i just got the info @ Sunstar Baguio. You can check out the attached link.

Hopefully all Provinces outside Metro Manila are Included on the "Relocation Package" since I am from Pampanga.

I haven't applied yet (personally) pero I'm applying for Butler post. Second choice is VIP Host. Basta sa Hotel. I submitted a resume to their email address, wait lang daw ako kasi they are receiving thousands of applications and since they will start operating early next year pa naman. I guess that's enough reason kung bakit di sila masyadong nagmamadali...

HI! for an entry level position with P14 thou as your basic, ok na siguro. Hindi lang naman ata yan lang ang composition ng monthly compensation nila (baka may additional allowance pa). I was a former casino employee, ang basic maliit talaga lalo na kung ang empleyado may TIP. Ang hindi lang maganda sa maliit na basic ang bonuses at night differential hindi din kalakihan, pero ang isang advantage nito ang tax maliit lang. Sana lang ang benefits/compensation package (health/life insurance, and other bonuses) nila for rank and file employees eh maganda, considering na shifting at may exposure ka sa second hand smoke.

Pero ang pagkakaintidi ko doon sa article eh lalaki pa yun 14thou na basic nila once na operational na ang casino.

I will have an initial interview on monday next week for cage cashier position, I sent my resume online last wed. I didn't expect na they will call soon, my sched is around 3pm. after ba ng initial interview wala ng kasunod na group interview or exam on the same day?

^sure, sana nga wag ako apurahin sa requirements at hindi pa ako ready magleave ulit. sakit sakitan lang ako kanina eh.

yung mga kasabay ko sa group discussion iba iba rin ang inaaplayan; may slot supervisor, pit supervisor, housekeeping staff, F & B staff, bartender. so far wala pa akong narinig for butler position. meron isa dun cage cashier just like me (sana totoo yung chismis nya, 30k daw basic ng cashier), siya nga lang ang nakachikahan ko eh. marami dun magkakakilala na kasi, mga nagwork na sa dubai/macau/sg.
