It depends on your financial goal, and if can you afford to save 30% of your salary, less all your expenses, then that's good for you.

    Better do something like this:

    Income xxx
    Less: Expenses
    Rent xxx
    Food xxx
    Clothing xxx
    Entertainment xxx
    Utilities xxx
    Others xxx
    What's left?

Then decide if you're satisfied with the amount left for savings. If not, you can take a look at the expenses and determine which ones you can minimize or let go entirely.

It helps if you know your financial goals (what you want to achieve, the amount you want to have at a certain age, the things you want to buy in the future) so you can properly plan on the right amount of savings that with good rate of return through the right choice of investments can make you achieve your financial goals.

for Emergency fund ano-ano ang dapat ko isama?

since the day na napanood ko yun pesos and sense sa youtube which is 2days ago. nagstart na agad ako magsave and at the moment may nasave na ako 5K.

    tyia
Basta magsave ka lang muna. Importante sa financial management mabuild yung discipline mo. For emergency fund, yung investment mo yun na din yun kasi if you have credit card you can use that muna temporarily to finance your immediate need.

Tapos pag may naipon ka na, you can put your money sa mutual funds like UITF sa mga uni banks, BDO, Metro or BPI, or you can put sa Sun Life or Philam. Basta ang investment horizon mo dito ay 3 years up.

Investment is not a matter of timing, it is a matter of time..

HOW MUCH? WHEN DO YOU NEED IT?
    WHERE WILL YOU NEED IT?

I suggest mag start ka na. NOW NA!
5 k lang initial investment, 1k lang subsequent investment.

If you need help, email me cristina.ortiz@sunlife.com.ph

Actually networking to...

    Hi!
Kung gusto mo na may monthly ka makukuha, it's not Mutual Fund you are looking for.
Di kasi ganun sa MF eh, its a long term investment, for medium to long term goal.
