DENNIS TRILLO, "BOY PICK-UP"'S RIVAL IN THE MOVIE
    March 12, 2012, 2:15 AM

Dennis Trillo already accepted the role as a villain in the newest GMA Films comedy movie topbilled by Ogie Alcasid, "Boy Pick-Up." "Boy Pick-Up" the movie is a spin-off of the character of Ogie Alcasid from the hit Friday night GMA7 gag show, "Bubble Gang."

Since its inclusion to “Bubble Gang,” the "Boy Pick Up" segment has gained a cult following of sorts, spawning a t-shirt line under the Francis Magalona Clothing Company as well as a soundtrack in the works

Dennis here will be playing here the role of "Bagwis," just the same withhis character in the TV version but his character's attack will be so much different. "Boy Pick-Up" movie will be one of the two movies lined-up for Dennis this year.

    Dennis-Bianca affair no confirmation yet #BrokenVow #Biritera
    MST: Joseph Peter R. Conzalez

Dennis Trillo would still not confirm that he and Bianca King is already an item despite persistent talks.

“Well, is public admittance still in these days? Ha-ha-ha! My love life is happy and quiet. I’m not comfortable talking about it in public.

“Bianca is one great source of my inspiration. I guess that’s what matters. It feels good if you have an inspiration since it will motivate you to do well in your job. Especially in my case as an actor, my mind can’t work if I’m not inspired.

“Honestly, I’m very happy with where we are now. Bianca is educated, sophisticated and has breeding. I’m also flattered that her folks have only good words for me. So far, everything’s smooth-sailing,” he states.

With this development, many ask if he’s already open to working with former flame Jennylyn Mercado in a future project.

“Well, yes! I see no problem with that. There’s no bitterness whatsoever. I’ve moved on long ago. But I don’t see it happening that soon because we’re busy with our respective shows. At this point, I want to give full concentration to my new prime time show in GMA titled Biritera which is doing well in the ratings!”

Speaking of Biritera, the handsome actor is proud to be back on prime time.

“For one, the viewers will see something different in me once again. I’ve done love triangles and offbeat roles, now it’s the first time I’m breathing life to the character of a band member who’s looking for his long-lost sister. At least, I get to show my vocal gift and acting skill simultaneously. I’m grateful to GMA for giving spice and variety to my screen parts. It’s simply challenging!” ends Dennis.

ABOUT SHOWBIZ Ni Nitz Miralles (Pilipino Star Ngayon) Updated March 12, 2012 12:00 AM

Paging Mother Lily Monteverde!
