    READ AND SPREAD, NURSES!!!!!

Provide for adequate NURSE-PATIENT RATIO at least in government hospitals and you will be surprised, KULANG PA RN SA PILIPINAS to provide for a decent Nurse-Patient ratio. Problem is they though there is OVERSUPPLY, its actually UNDER-UTILIZATION. Whats the ratio in government hospitals? 1:ward! Di ba dapat 1:10? When was the last time nag update ng plantilla position ang mga government hospitals? 1980's pa!!!! Common the solution is NOT in closing schools kasi wall naman na talagang nag-eenroll sa nursing! Ang solution, IBIGAY SA FILIPINO ANG TAMANG NURSE-PATIENT RATIO BOTH IN HOSPITALS AND COMMUNITIES.
Teka lang, na-implement na ba ang SALARY GRADE 18 ng NURSES as mandated by the Nursing Law of 2002? NO!!!! Wake up! Let's show them the real problem and offer the best solution.

Anyway kung gusto nyong di masyado masayang yung mga inaral nyo, why not look into health research? Ang NIH sa may UP Manila minsan naghahanap ng mga tao for conducting research, nagpo-post sila sa bulletin board nila (how I wish na may online na sila).

Ang UP Econ naman, in partnership with DOH, merong Health Policy Fellowship program.

Tas kung makapagwork na kayo ng isang taon or something.. why not change/tweak your career paths? Take post graduate courses. Marami sa UP Manila (sorry, dun kasi ako galing so karamihan ng mga nasa-suggest ko yung mga ni-po-post samin haha)

Ang mga interesting (for me) for nurses ay:

MS in Epidemiology (Public Health) [syempre dapat ibida]
    MS in Public Health (Biostatistics)
    MS in Health Informatics
    MS in Genetics Counseling
MS (?) in Clinical Audiology (prino-promote ni dating boss/head ng Grad studies ng UP Manila/kapwa-nurse natin)

Tas kung talagang gusto nyong broad or talagang nag-e-explore pa:

    Master of Public Health (MPH).

    Ayuuuuun.

Sana pala maging friends tayong lahat dito at magtulungan. Go kapwa nurse! Haha. Hehe.

(may nag-apply ba dito sa PGH? Weeee baka may makita ako sa school. )
May alam kang opening ngayon? If ever saan banda sa UP Manila makikita yung details? Thank you.

Hi everyone...i'm a former staff here in a private hospital for 3 years. I resigned 1 year ago (dito ko lang iri-reveal ang totoo) because I suffered clinical depression, anorexia and bulimia (159lbs down to 128 lbs, although pasok pa rin ako sa normal BMI). Nagmukha akong bungo that time.

good luck and god bless to all of us...

Kaya mo yan. Believe in yourself.

Gusto niyo itry? Kayo ng bahala. Ako inuunti-unti ko na mga pangarap ko. Ikaw magpapahuli ka pa ba?

Kung gusto niyong itry, wala namang mawawala. Opportunity na to eh, db? Sanggang-dikit tayo niyan.
