$45 American you say? That's like, $550 Canadian! Hehehe loko lang. Pero thanks for your offer. Sounds interesting. How would that work though? Do I just give you my measurements? Guaranteed to fit ba yan? I've bought stuff on line before, but just your basic t-shirts that have a generic fit. I don't wanna add to your busy schedule but let me know hun.

Hey Grass Kiah here I had to change my screen name - the old one was too arte

You are such a GOOD bargain hunter!

    /chants "I'm not worthy..."

I bought my favorite pair of Earl jeans for about 110 dollars a year ago! I couldn't wait for the price to go down (and it seldom happens) and I just suck at bargain shopping.

*shakes head* 45 bucks for a pair of Earl jeans...tsk...wow...oh man...

sinabi na nga bang si kiah yan e!!
it's just a matter of knowing when and where to shop, i'm not much of a sales-bin horder person..i happen to hate big, big sales or tiangges because it's so suffocating. trick is knowing when the "high end" stores are discarding their inventory. people have this notion that when you start mentioning Neiman Marcus or Barneys or Saks or Bergdorf or Henri Bendel or even Bloomie's, you automatically think "i cannot buy anything decent there below 100 dollars". truth is, they do have tons of the stuff you want at a not that expensive price range..it's just a matter of patience and waiting for the right time. Chances are, even if you waited 2 months for the marc jacobs' jacket you've been dreaming about to go from 250 to 100, you're still head and shoulders above any other trying-hard fashion git or you're friendly The Gap. You'll be surprised with the discounts you get for great designers like marc jacobs, prada, daryl k, jil sander, michael kors, helmut lang among others. another trick is going to the pre-fashion week special sales around late august to early september and in early feb.

so wanna-be fashionistas and shopaholics, don't be scared of designer clothes...you may never know.

echoing tr|n|ty, $13 nga sya sa Sephora.
sa sobrang sales talk ko nga, na-convince ang sister ko.
so ayun, buy din sya ng lash curler nya.

so far di ko pa sya nata-try. kase these past 2 days lagi akong running late sa trabaho,
kaya no time na para mag-makeup pa.

I'm sure sa price nya, effective naman sya(sana nga.. )
anyone here who has it can vouche for that (right girls?..
    tr|n|ty, PePs, novalee, etc.)

    To those in the US/Canada

Have you guys got Bettina Liano jeans there? They're made by an Australian designer (I think) and the jeans have an amazing fit. They're on the pricey end of the scale though - but for short petite women (most Filipina women fit into this category) they're a great buy.

    Wink

nope..no idea about that brand. i think petite sizes will not work here in the US when the average american female is a size 14.

lala girl! i'll try to snag you one but i can't promise you i'm working like a dog and i'm also apartment hunting and new york is not the best place to mix both at the same time. as for the sizing, they go by 24,25, 26 etc..not the usual 0, 2,4,6 deal. i actually got something bigger than my "usual" since i'm a little bit taller than the average.
