Last night's episode featured Jerson Trinidad who's been a veteran of talent shows & a well-known entity in the Filipino community in Australia. He came 2nd on 'New Faces' in 1992 behind 'Heartbreak High' actress Abi Tucker. I'm not sure if its age or song choice but I wasn't overly impressed with his rendition of 'Ordinary People' coz I expected more from him, having heard him sing on few occassions. But it's early days so who knows what's in store for us.

The guy who wore trackies (and sounded like James Blunt) is Kieran Fraser, a veteran in the karaoke circuit. I competed with him in one of the karaoke comps in my local & naturally he steamrolled the comp because he's on a different level. This dude can really sing so naturally some karaoke tragics are complaining that he should not be allowed coz they assumed he's a 'pro' even though he's not.

nah. she's half scottish half thai. her dad jimmy barnes is a scottish-born australian rock icon (lead singer of Cold Chisel) while mum jane is originally from thailand.

i admire the guts of the girl who picked Wuthering Heights last week but im not too sure about the vocal. it was like she was trying too hard to mimic Kate's style. there's a hint of her real voice somewhere in that performance na feeling ko mas magugustuhan ko kung ginamit niya yun.
