By Korean standards kasi, 'yung face ni Woo Hye mi ay pang-gagman (comedian). It's a good thing that TVOK was able to project na hindi paguwapuhan o pakinisan ng legs ang labanan sa singing show na ito.

Kasi halos ganyan ang kuwento ni Kang Mi jin. She has been rejected countless times on auditions because of her looks. When she debuted in a rock band, she had to wear a mask.

When her solo career did not work out, she put up videos of her singing on the Internet. Pero 'yung mukha niya tinatapalan ng mukha ni Mona Lisa, hence the nickname "Mona Lisa Girl."

napanood ko yung youtube clips ng The Voice of Australia. saan ba natin mahahanap ang buong episode nito?

anyway as far as talent is concerned, two stood out for me. The girl who sang Samson and the girl who sang This Is A Man's World (Karise Eden). The rest are a mixture of "could be potentially good with another song" and some "eh?" acts.

the "This Is A Man's World" audition amuses me because it closely mirrors the other blind audition from the Holland franchise where all the coaches turned right away after the act (Charly Luske) sang his first line of that song. The coaches from both franchises also showed the same giddy excitement for these acts.

Charly's version has less frills compared to Karise's but imo still just as good with his smoother take.
