MEANWHILE, nakakapanghinayang si Sarah Lahbati.
ni Dinno Erece
We will be doing a full review of the pilot of Indio on Monday when it pilots that night sa Telebabad replacing Aso ni San Pedro pero we’d like to do a short one lang for Sarah who is now in the news not just for her issue with GMA but also she has two projects right now. Kasali siya sa Indio bilang Diwata Ng Digma (goddess of war) at sa upcoming Regal Films movie Seduction co-starring with boyfriend Richard Gutierrez together with Solenn Heussaff opening January 30 sa direction ni Peque Gallaga.
Sarah is so luminous (we will be using this word again sa full review) sa Indio which was premiered like a movie last Wednesday. Bagay na bagay sa kaniya ang pagiging diwata or diyosa and it helps that the special effects and her costume enhanced that beauty of hers. Kaya nga nanghinayang kami sa nangyayari ngayon kay Sarah na parang mawawala ang lahat ng ito just because of her misunderstanding with GMA Artist Center. Take note, wala siyang problema sa GMA sa simula at sa contract niya with GMA AC ito nag start.
Hindi talaga pinabayaan si Sarah sa Indio playing the goddess mother of the child who will be named Malaya and will be portrayed by Senator Bong Revilla Jr. The good thing about the production, hitsurang hindi na rin kailangang bumalik ni Sarah sa production dahil her character ‘died’ in the pilot episode although we have some misgivings about this dahil hindi naman siguro namamatay ang mga diwata so puwede pa talaga siyang pabalikin kung magkakaayos pa sila ng GMA Network.
Ayun ay kung magkakaayos pa nga sila.
-----------

Rhian Ramos talks about her diwata role on GMA-7's drama-fantasy series Indio
Rhian Ramos
by Ruben Marasigan
CHALLENGING.
Kuwento niya, “Ang daming mga salita na first time kong sinabi or nagamit dito sa Indio.
“Kasi more or less, marunong na akong mag-Tagalog, e.
So, nagiging ibon din ako.
“All throughout the story, nandoon ako.
“Kasi yung character ko, hindi tumatanda. So mula pa noong bata si Indio, nandoon ako.
“Tinulungan niya kami to get into character.

All’s Well Now For Rhian Ramos

Rhian Ramos believes KC Montero came into her life at the right time
MANILA, Philippines – She’s been through a lot, that’s for sure, and now Rhian Ramos has nowhere to go but up once more.
“I feel stronger, smarter now…I have a knack for turning [bad] things into something positive,” she told media right after the press screening of the coming drama-fantasy series, “Indio.”
The remark was prompted by talks about her relationship with an ex who ended up in a very sour note. The ensuing controversy prompted Rhian to lie low a bit from show business in order to recharge and find herself once more.
“It took a few months before I could recover and it helps that I was surrounded by family and other people who love me. I changed all of my [phone] numbers, I blocked all of my accounts…until the people just tired of talking about it. I went from so low to being happy these days,” she said.
Rhian shared that her boyfriend, KC Montero, came into her life at the right time.
“KC is the kind of person I need in this stage I’m in. Bakit pa ako maghahanap ng iba eh everything is going so well?”
The actress has high hopes that “Indio” will make a big mark once it debuts on TV come Jan. 14.
In the series, Rhian plays the diwata Dian Magayon, who is tasked to guide and guard the lead character Malaya played by Sen. Bong Revilla, Jr. Rhian’s character is one of about a dozen diwatas who are in charge of the elements such as the mountains, the rainbow, the sun, the wind and the moon.
Said to be the most expensive drama in local TV history, “Indio” also stars Jennylyn Mercado, Michael de Mesa, Sam Pinto, Jomari Yllana, Agot Isidro, among others.

Bong Revilla on his first epic-series on GMA Network: “Eto ang peg ngayon sa paggawa sa telebisyon...
MORE THAN AN ACTION SERIES.
At marami pa tayong ipapakitang bago.”
Ano yung pinakamahirap na eksenang nagawa niya sa series, so far?
“Maraming breakdown scenes. Acting. Pang-acting talaga. More on the story, yung puso.
I’m very thankful to my friend.”
VERY PROUD WITH INDIO.
Sagot niya, “Kailangan. Kung gagawa tayo, something big that will mark in the history, di ba?
Yabang, ano? Puwede nating ipagyabang ang proyekto natin.
THREE LEADING LADIES.
How about Rhian?
“Lalong gumagaling. Mas magaling na artista siya ngayon. They’re all professionals.
“Mero’n. Panoorin n'yo na lang. Romansahan kaagad. Sinipon tuloy ako!” natatawa niyang pagtatapos.
