Question Bubble Milk Tea business advice please.

Hi! I am contemplating starting a Bubble Milk Tea business. I am currently working a full time job and am thinking of starting this business as a source of additional income. Location will be in the province since I work there. Any idea how much start up capital if I'm not gonna franchise? Any advice how I should go about it? Maganda ba chances ng ganitong business for success this 2012? Thanks po!

ok yan sir.. madami na nga lang... two ways to start it... franchise or create your own business... kung kabisado mo lahat ng aspect, pwede ka magstart ng sarili mo, trial and error yan... dun lamang ang franchising... read some stuff from entrepreneur magazine regarding franchising...

Kung starting ka palang, i suggest mag franchise ka muna. From there, you can learn more and probably in the future you can start your own tea business. meron akong kilala nagpapa franchise 250-350K lang.

Siguro mas maliit ang capital na kailangan if you start on your own. Find a business partner to lessen the work load.

    I agree to opulen

I think bigger ang profit if you start your own at lesser ang capital

Start your own bubble milk tea:
    1) choose your location higher population higher demand
    2) make your own ingredients
    3) taste - use tea with rich in aroma and creamier milk
    4) affordable

Acctually right now i'm planning to put my own milk tea not that big not small. I don't know what name will i use.

Hi TS, its a nice to have a business but at the same time still employed. There are positive remarks said by fellow pexers here like to franchise or to start on our own label. There are pros and cons for both, kc if you choose to franchise yes indeed it will be costly but the thing is what you are really paying for is the reputation that was build by the brand you want to franchise, but if you will start on your own yes it will be cheaper than the franchise but in the long run dapat may mahaba kang "pisi" to give time for your label o be well known, and I promise you wag ka mag expect agad ng ROI (return of investment) for several months, why I said that? because the first few months is all about building good reputation, and analyzing what the people really want. Friendly advise kung mag franchise ka worth 250k-300k gaya ng sabi nung isang pexer, dapat may pisi k at least same amount like 250-300k din for reputation... and take note kahit kilala na brand need pa din mag build ng good reputation kahit zagu pa yan, kasi consumers tend to patronize other stores if hindi na meet yung expectation nila sa store mo. example nag franchise ka ng maliit na zagu (mga 3 blenders lang) bumili ako dun at napansin ko na hindi makunat ang sago, so ang tendency ko bumili sa zagu store na pinakamalapit sayo... in that scenario hindi umubra yung reputation na naiset ng franchise brand. to make this simpler you got to decide kung may franchise ka ba o hindi? and how much yung "pisi" mo. If I where you mag isip ka mabuti kasi its not a walk in the park maniwala ka, i've been there and I failed, but I learned, so keep the money and think about it muna.

@Chaweiph, pa quote naman ng prices ng supplies mo, i'm also thinking of putting up a little kiosk in the province, yung tipong may wi-fi, para naman maattract yung mga tatambay and at the same time, sasamahan ko na din ng waffle and etc.

you can either pm me or repply through here. Thanks!
