It was a nightmare for both teams and FilOil officials. According to FilOil officials, Terence Romeo and former Letran Knight, Clarence Foronda were both ejected from the game and will be awarded one game suspension each. Another former Letran player (Season 87), Andrei Mendoza, identified as the perpetrator of this unwanted incident, will be banned from entering the main venue for the rest of the season.
After a 2nd quarter rally by the Pirates in the 2nd quarter, the 2nd half turned out to be a different story as FEU pulled away for good with 53-47 to end the 3rd quarter. The game was completely out of reach for the Pirates until a scuffle broke out between the two teams with less than 4 minutes left in regulation.
RR Garcia topscored for the Tamaraws with 11-points and 6 assists, followed by another great performance from former DLSU Green Archers Arvie Bringas with 11-points and 9 rebounds and Cris Tolomia with 10-points with a 50% field goal conversion.
Lyceum had 22 turnovers with only 11 by FEU. The Tamaraws took advantage of 2nd chance opportunities than the Pirates, 16-6.
The Tamaraws are now 1-1 after losing to Bulldogs last April 20 and will face the Adamson Falcons next on April 27. Meanwhile, Lyceum has dropped to 0-2.

after 2 close game losses against UAAP Champion Ateneo at UAAP Final 4 team UST, I hope na gumanda naman ang darating na NCAA Season sa Perpetual Altas.. I'm from Perpetual and I'm tired of seeing our Senior basketball team na nasa cellar dweller palagi ng NCAA Standings.. at least yung Junior basketball team namin nakapag-Final 4 nung nasa Altalettes pa si Joshua Alolino na nasa NU Bulldogs na ngayon.. 2004 pa yung huling Finals ng Perpetual. sana mag Finals ulit at mag champion na.
