Samantala, final week na ngayon ng Biritera at wala pang balita si Dennis [Trillo] ng next soap niya sa GMA-7. May narinig kaming gagawin nito ang Pulang Araw na tungkol sa war, pero wala pang katiyakan.

Burntout, ito ba yung tungkol sa World War II na serye?

Makes sense na baka ayan na nga 'yon pero kasi wala pa kong balita kung anong title nung World War 2 drama at kung si Dennis pa rin 'yon. Last I heard, ang next naka-line up for Dennis is an afternoon drama. Parang balak yata unahin yung Indio after elections. Kasi yung Indio nakapag-storycon na siya yata while ito ay hindi pa. Medyo madugo kasi yung production ng Indio and I doubt simultaneously makakapag-produce ng period drama sa bigat ng production at budget ng ganitong type of shows.

Sana wag ng gumawa ang GMA ng mga soap na may nawawalang anak, kidnapan, patay na nabuhay. Kaloka.

sa afternoon prime soaps ata ang mas meron kakaibang stories that Dennis is looking for... pero, sana matuloy ang WW2 drama soap about a Japanesse soldier na yan for Dennis kasi Japanese looking naman si dennis... alangan naman si Richard or Dingdong yan eh di bagay sa mga "round" eyes nila. o, di ko naman sinabing dilat mata sila eh. joke! hehe

ey, nabasa mo ba yun nabasa ko sa dennis trillo thread? i think di lang si dennis among the Kapuso stars who are longing for kakaibang kwentos.

kung obvious sa atin na pare=pareho lang ang mga soap stories particularly in primetime, eh mas obvious naman siguro sa mga artista kaya lang no choice sila kasi trabaho yan na kelangan nilang tanggapin.

kung di nila tanggapin ay baka sabihin na nag-inarte sila and sayang ang kita...maski na ba sawang sawa na sila sa paulit ulit na mga kwentong nawawalang anak/kapatid, kidnapan, amnesia, rich girl meets poor boy na pilit pinaghihiwalay etc. etc..... pero, natawa talaga ako dun sa soap kwento na akala patay na, pero buhay pa pala... parang ipis lang ang peg.

haaay... kelan nga ba sila makaka-isip ng mas kakaibang kwento naman naman! maski na sa abs-cbn ganyan din primetime soaps nila eh...

that would be the ideal setup sana ... have equal treatment to all their artistas and rotate their artistas in their soaps... pero, depende ata sa contracts of these artistas. the top artistas have contracts stating their number of soaps per year. kaya naman kung 3 soaps per year ang artista in their contract, the network has to fulfill their contracts.

i hope, they fulfill the previous press statement na bibigyan ng trabaho this year ang maraming kapuso artistas in their movies and soaps... this LUna Blanca is supposed to be a long-running multi-generational soap and sabi din sa press statement of this soap na marami daw kapusong artistas na mabbibigyan ng trabaho... we shall wait and see.

tsk tsk tsk... ano na kaya ang nangyari sa press statement nila na meron gagawin gma films movie per month??? ae they having too many promises that are unfulfilled???

Wala yatang love angle at least for Bong yung Indio. Rhian and Aljur won't be the 2nd leads in Indio anymore. They have a primetime show slated for Q4 2012. Baka maging Alden-Louise.

Roxanne and Reika are out of Daddy Dearest to be replaced by Milkcah (Iglot) and Jolina.

My Little Sister changed title to Hindi Ka Nag-iisa.

Mabuti naman at walang love angle si Bong. Kasi ang weird tingnan kung yung partner niya eh mas bata pa sa panganay niya (Bryan).

They are really pushing the Alden-Louise loveteam kung ngayon pa lang eh may plano na silang 4th team-up after Alakdana, My Beloved at One True Love.

What happened to Reika? Bakit napalitan siya ni Milkcah?

i hope si dennis trillo pa rin in Pulang Araw now that marian will be the leading lady here. meron good screen chemistry sila kasi both have effective acting talents... and besides, bagay na bagay kay Dennis ang Japanese soldier role kasi chinito sya and japanese-looking. puhlease, hwag naman sana mapunta sa round eyed actor yan... gastos lang yun sa eyeliner para maging singkit.

Looks like they're giving Temptation of Wife another try. Nirerewrite yung pitch still with Jennylyn Mercado in mind as the lead.

Also in the works is a Lovi-Dindong drama. A title role for Lovi pero given na si Dingdong ang kapareha niya baka palitan yung title. If I recall correctly, Amirah yung title.

^ That's great! Deserving naman si Lovi magkaro'n ng solo serye. Sa pinakita ba naman niyang acting prowess sa Legacy. GMA should take care of her and should not let her go, isa siya sa mga pambato nila.

Also in the works is a Lovi-Dindong drama. A title role for Lovi pero given na si Dingdong ang kapareha niya baka palitan yung title. If I recall correctly, Amirah yung title.

So yung Faithfully, hindi na TOW Remake Salamat naman.

Lovi deserves it talaga. Ang tanong kelan yang Amirah? This year or 2013?

In fairness naman sa Faithfully, the writers really did veer away from TOW nung na-reject yung original pitch niya as TOW remake so ibang-iba talaga yung story ng Faithfully.

Q4 2012 or maybe Q1 2013 yung Amirah (if that is the correct title). BTW, Amirah is from the same team na dapat gagawa ng religious drama for Sheena. I think they reworked it and it became Amirah kasi may religious aspect yung story nito.

Forgot to mention pala, I mentioned before about a primetime series to be led by Kylie na ang title ay Forever. I think it's still a go come 2013. Benjamin Button-esque 'ata yung story. Fantasy-love story siya.

Okay. This is nice for Lovi but as much as I want to support her, I am also curious what will happen for Sheena. The next Afternoon Prime block is fully booked na with Di Na Mag-iisa, Faithfully and Daddy Dearest.

I hope Sheena would be launched very soon because she deserves it na rin talaga...

My thoughts...

LOVI definitely deserves a lead role. isa sya talaga sa mga pambato ng GMA pagdating sa aktingan. kay layo layo nung nagsisimula palang sya sa bakekang.

SHEENA also deserves to have the lead role. ilagay muna sya as lead on a daytime drama.

put MAXENE back to primetime.

I am interested to see Marian and Mark Anthony Fernandez again, they have great chemistry.

Pulang Araw should be retitled "Red Sun".

Hindi kaya ang Indio o Pulang Araw this year.
Indio - January 2013.
Approved na ang Pulang Araw pero hindi pa alam kung kailan ito for production.
Indio - epic fantasy.
Pulang Araw - Isang kakaibang love story noong panahon ng ikalawang digmaan.

Pero this year, sure ako na ang Haram (forbidden), isang konsepto ko ay ma-e-air siguro by NOv pero ito ay ihe-head write ni Aloy Adlawan bilang busy ako sa Indio.
But I will be it's creative consultant.

Pa-support na lang din ang lahat ng shows ng GMA. TY.
