There aren't too many recruiters and recruitment managers, and if there are vacancies, these are also filled by either pirating recruiters from another center, or by recruiters themselves looking for a better deal......

As a recruitment manager, I make sure I go through the list of applicants on a daily basis, watching out for names who are either notorious jumpers, people with negative 201, etc. One such person is Julian Palad III - all veteran recruits would auto-fail him, at one time, hinamon nya ng suntukan ang "babaeng" recruiter for failing him because of his lousy attitude during the recruitment process...but he is a different case.

As recruiters, we bring the experience wherever we go, therefore, we do not forget faces or names.

Also, even if you hide your company, your SSS and tax record would show it. The only reason why you would get hired, despite the negative record is if the company is not very strict with their requirement, they have a weak background investigation process, or they simply dont care at all. Maraming companies na ganito.

In contrast, companies such as HSBC HDPP are VERY strict with their BI - and they do it every year, kahit employado ka na (I dont know if they still do it today).

I hope what I shared here also helped.
There's absolutely NO WAY your employer can access your work history using SSS and BIR. Your work history, tax returns etc. are considered as highly confidential information and can only be accessed by the person who owns the record, NO ONE UNDER THE LAW can access that info unless the employee specifically provide the info to their employers.

Kaya nga meron kang sariling log-in online to view your SSS info such as your contributions and employment history. Recruiters and HRs alike CANNOT and WILL NOT have an access to this info. Sa BIR ganoon din.

BOTTOMLINE: Employers are NOT given any special access to these records by the SSS nor by the BIR, so don't tell these people that the employers can check these information.

Kaya please don't spread wrong info about it.

talaga?? di nila ma-aaccess kahit alam nila SSS number mo???

Wag ka lang mag file ng sss loan through your current company kase lalabas lahat yan sa certificate of contribution mo... dun mahuhuli ka na... tsaka totoong meron black list... umiikot yan sa HR Philippines... Classic example si Julian Palad...

Employers are given access to your work history (NOT your contribution). Some companies are using this to double-check your declarations in your resume (some, even if they find out, just don't care). This is why people are pulled out of training even after signing the contract.

Unfortunately, this is an unwritten HR procedure, however it is being practiced by "some companies".

This is not to misinform anyone, but to throw caution into the wind, to warm people about the possible impact of hiding companies in their resume.

However, I welcome the idea (happily even) that employers will have no access to it - sino ba naman ang may gusto ng ganon di ba? At least if that were true, threads like this will have no place in pinoyexchange and people will not be worried.

    Just my two cents.

^^ diba ang aplikante may karapatang i-reject ang JO?? Lalo na kung di naman niya nagustuhan yung terms na nabasa niya sa contract. WELL I HOPE SOMEONE CLARIFIES MY POV. ABOUT THIS.

    Hi olh8red!

I find your post very helpful. Would you know if Thomson Reuters is strict with their background check?

I worked for 24/7 for 7 mos. I resigned and my TL and OM signed it. However, when I tried to get a COE from them, I was advised that they tagged me as AWOL and even asked me to pay 1k.

After 24/7, I transferred to Teletech and worked there for 1 year and 6 mos..then, I resigned properly and got a COE from them.

Now, I'm about to start with Thomson. I never declared that I worked for 24/7 because of the AWOL record they gave me..Do you think this will matter?

    Thanks a lot!

This isn't true. I used to work for Citibank, albeit I absconded after I found out what kind of culture they have inside. The worst company I have ever worked for, well, second to Acquire Asia who's number one in my "do not even dare submit a resume" list. Bah!

NO, im not trying to bash them, no point in doing so since it's in the past, however, I speak from experience.

My apologies but I do not know if Thompson Reuters is strict with their BI process. I hope you can share this with/to us if you find out later.

I wish you all the best and congratulations!

And yung isa sa mga companies na di ko dineclare sa resume ko yung payroll atm nya is citibank, paano kaya yun? balak ko pa naman applyan.

hELLO PO. Ask ko lang kung natuloi po *** apply sa Citigroup? I passed the final interview po ksi and was asked to submit the requirements na. Parang nagddlawang isip na ko magpasa ksi may mga companies akong di dineclare pero wala naman akong utang sa citibank. Sayang di ksi offer. Thoughts on this?

Like I said, a job offer is NEVER binding. A contract of employment is.

Even if you have submitted all your documents, it still doesnt make it binding. Well, call centers and companies will make you think that it is, but even if you do not show up, it doesnt affect your employment records with SSS or BIR.

When you start your training and when they make you sign all those gory documents, waivers, etc, then the contract OF THE TRAINING is binding. Then again, employment in a call center is always contigent on the following:

    1. Your submission of requirements
    2. Your Pre employment medical
    3. Your passing of the training
    4. Your passing of the requirement metrics during the nesting period
    5. Your regularization

    Hope this helps.

    Seven.
what if po sa nesting e kailangan mo nang magresign, is nesting still considered training? required pa po ba na 30 days prior to resignation ang pag-submit ng resignation letter? pag nag AWOL po ba walang makukuha? TIA

Kapag ba matagal ka ng wala sa isang call center at naterminate ka

kung na-terminate ka sa isang call center at more than 5 years na un, mati-trace ka pa din nila if you'll apply sa same company na nag-change na din ng name nila?
