    Call Center Blacklist

Is there such a thing as Call Center Blacklist? What do you think are the grounds for being in the no-no list?

I left my previous company kasi after a year stay there and haven't returned the headset since then..kasi nga nag AWOL ako.. enough na ba yun para ma-blacklist ako?

Idk if BACKER na tropa nila or KAKILALA. Basta ako never ako nag AWOL. Pero yun nga lang -medyo callhopper.

Yung mga callcenter na famous for being a member of CCAP. Such as AEGIS.

^^ there are 4 centers in this list -that I've been an employee out of the 6cc that I've been with. And it's funny that after that 6th cc-still 1 center in the list still considered me for Training. But I was the one who backed out(accessibility issue).

-But I'm not gonna lie that 4 of the centers in this list-whether how hard I apply(2x-5x)- I really get rejected. And I don't want to waste my money going to their offices anymore. AND IT'S B*LLSH*T. They really text you bunch loads-invites you to take exams/interviews. And I'm the dumb-one who -hopes and don't realize that it has been a frustrating routine-to hope -then get kicked out-in the finale.

-So this means-if you feel confident & feel you got what it takes still - TRY YOUR LUCK- You'll never know. Pero if you were rude with your superiors -haaayyyyy... GOODLUCK(sarcastic remark). You better match your skills with good attitude w/ superiors-no matter how they screw you up.

^^naka years ka-ako nga buwan lang. ewan ko ba yung iba kasi-nakaka-pasok pa ng callcenter or may officemate pa nga ako dati nag-AWOL. Biro mo same area din.

-and I read in some thread mas marami pang callcenters na binilang kesa sa akin. 15 cc for 2 or 4years lang! matindi diba! tingin mo ba lahat yun eh LEGAL siyang naka-alis??

So baka nakilala nga siya.

I was a recruitment specialist/recruitment manager for few call centers and yes, there is a blacklist excel file that call centers pass around. I've seenit myself because I used to receive the said file on a regular basis.

What most people don't realize is that even if the call center industry is huge in the Philippines, the recruitment industry within is VERY small. There aren't too many recruiters and recruitment managers, and if there are vacancies, these are also filled by either pirating recruiters from another center, or by recruiters themselves looking for a better deal......

As a recruitment manager, I make sure I go through the list of applicants on a daily basis, watching out for names who are either notorious jumpers, people with negative 201, etc. One such person is Julian Palad III - all veteran recruits would auto-fail him, at one time, hinamon nya ng suntukan ang "babaeng" recruiter for failing him because of his lousy attitude during the recruitment process...but he is a different case.

As recruiters, we bring the experience wherever we go, therefore, we do not forget faces or names.

Also, even if you hide your company, your SSS and tax record would show it. The only reason why you would get hired, despite the negative record is if the company is not very strict with their requirement, they have a weak background investigation process, or they simply dont care at all. Maraming companies na ganito.

In contrast, companies such as HSBC HDPP are VERY strict with their BI - and they do it every year, kahit employado ka na (I dont know if they still do it today).

I hope what I shared here also helped.

thank you for sharing it olh8red!

yung mga big names in the industry po ba usually ang strict or even yung maliliit?

what can you advised po in my case kasi there's no way for me to hide the company I AWOLed from kasi nga po makikita sa SSS ko but di rin naman ako makakakuha ng cert of employment in case na i-declare ko naman

^^in short... yung iba headcount & good communication skills talaga ang aim ng recruiters.

-Add JP Morgan. Nag-apply ako more than 2x diyan. Same goes with HSBC.

Nakaka-relax

-I started hopping around 2004. So it's not about big cc or small cc company eh. It's more of yung com. skills mo, plus persuasion skills para ma-hire ka nila. Saka dapat di below the belt-yung atttude mo-na pinakita mo sa last employer mo. - di ka war-freak or wala kang scam na nagawa!!! I have flaws as an agent too. These are BIG CENTERS.

My advise is this...you better have a good reason for going on AWOL, if you wish to be open about it (bad idea). Or....

This is my suggestion: work for a small company, if you can find one, who will not demand for a COE. Then, resign from this company after 6 months or so.

Why? To cover the negative history of your previous company, and to have a COE, which means you now have a chance to work for a bigger, better company.

    Good luck, buddy.

any advice about being terminated? kc i find it to hard to land a job because of my termination, skill wise im pretty decent i lasted 2years ++ in a financial account were in we don't have any scripts to follow you have to provide information in your own way. Anyway if you can at least provide me names of companies that is not so strict when in comes to B.I or in my case that is so gonna help me. Thanks

Sorry to hear about your termination. I for one could not provide you advice. I went on AWOL, so eventually got terminated from a huge company (financial account), only to join a small company (who did not need a COE, company has folded already btw) and become a Manager. I used this company as my buffer. Then I resigned after about a year (before their shutdown) and they gave me a COE. Now, I work for a company much much bigger than all of the centers here combined.

Hmm...these are really lousy, unreliable, and low-*** companies:

    just flowers
    acquire asia pacific
    vertex (buhay pa ba to?)
transcom (check mo muna, im not sure)
VXI (im including them in the list coz andami kong kilala na pagnate term, dyan tumatakbo, HIRED).
teleperformance (according to a colleague who is reading my post, tanggap lang daw ng tanggap ito)
    FIS (try mo to)
    The call center at Alphaland

Now some of these centers, masakit sa bangs - magpa sweldo, sa policies, pero konting tiis lang, be regularized, then resign.
