Michelle's Putong Ube and other products

Nasa market market kami kanina sa Taguig, so nasa food hunting mode kami ni hubby, haha, nakita namin yung stand nila, sa may 2nd floor, and bumili kami nung putong ube, and putong queso..

Grabe, bawat bite, lasang lasa yung milky goodness niya... sa itsura, parang hindi masarap.. LOL, pero when I tasted it.. wow.. kalasa nung puto queso nila yung base ingredients ng Kenny Rogers' corn muffins.

We also tried their Napoleones bars at 230/ box, masarap din , although, biased na to, kasi first time kong makatikim ng napoleones ever

    Their website:

    Babalik ako ulit, putong ube...

May Michelle na pala ang Putong Ube. Dati Putong Ube lang yan eh. Pero oo nga masarap nga yan. We just finished a box of the Putong Queso today.

It's better to buy there than from the distributors (sa Greenhills meron). Sobrang sarap ng Putong Ube especially for first timers.

When I learned about Napoleones, I was dying to try it but I didn't know where to buy one. Then I saw the stall of Michelle's in SM Fairview and I inquired if they have. Fast forward to the present...

I have been trying to try their Napoleones but it seems very elusive. I have been to their Trinoma, Market Market and SM Fairview (I don't see their stall anymore) branches to no avail. It is always out of stock. Different days and different times, I just couldn't get a hold of their Napoleones. That eventually led me to try the Roli's Napoleones and managed to find their stalls in Megamall and SM North and I got hooked. At least they always have stocks each time I want to buy.

Now I am intrigued again with their puto because of the post of OmmMara. Luckily we were in BHS last night to have our dose of margarita and mojito at Agave. But before that, I said I'll buy Vj Pastel first then buy napoleones and puto at Michelle's. I was so excited to see their stall and even more excited when I saw those on display. But my excitement got cut short because... once again, it is out of stock already! The guy offered me their sugar free puto, the only one left, but I declined.

I guess I'll just keep on trying.

^ I am not that well versed in Mandaluyong but I'll try to look at the map or search for directions. They still have other branches that I haven't looked at like Tiendesitas, Greenhills and in Katipunan Rd, White Plains, which are places not just near but easier to visit.

OT: That VJ Pastel is simply a bread slapped with yema filling. It's just ok and honestly, I didn't taste anything "special".

rna800, parang tinakamtakam ka lang nila

Nakabili ako sa Market Market, saturday yun, last Feb. 18, 2nd floor yung stall ng Michelle's, about 11:30 am, ang dami pa nilang stocks, pati nga napoleones, so try mo mga ganyan oras

Also, you could call them, nasa website nila, para daw kung saang stall ka nila pupunta, ipagtitira ka nila ng gusto mong bilhin

^ Thanks for the heads up. I'll try to visit Market Market at an earlier time this weekend and maybe have my luck already.

^I emailed them dati, asking kung nagdedeliver sila, kapag napoleones pala kasi, hindi daw. Tapos yun ang sabi sa akin, kung may gusto daw ako, itawag ko daw sa kanila, then dadalhin nila dun sa stall, reserved for me. Para hindi ka na maubusan diba. Happy eating

Their Napoleones has the same taste as that with TSOKO NUT
You can choose either them or TSOKO NUT

Finally! I was able to taste their puto and napoleones. Good thing when I went to Trinoma, there was still 1 box of napoleones left, 1 box assorted remaining and still a lot of ube flavor available.

Yes, I love the taste of their puto and it is also nice to give it as a gift for the holidays or serve it with your guest. I couldn't decided which is the best but it is a battle of ube and cheese.

Their napoleones tastes exactly the same as Roli's however I noticed they are smaller and the crust is flakier.

Now I know where to buy a quality puto and an alternative to Roli's relating napoleones.

Haha.
