Speaking of EMC2, gustong-gusto ko yung idea behind the acronym dati. Who would think a Physics equation would be a frat ng Engineering? Baka sa College of Science pa.

Pero marami akong college buddies sa Tau Alpha and Beta Epsilon.

Good morning po!
I just finished my first two sems in UPLB. BS Civil Engineering is my degree program, and I already submitted a letter to our College Secretary regards to transferring to COE-UPD. I'm waiting for the interview, which will be held on the eighteenth of the month.
My question is, how tough is the competition in terms of admission? In UP Form No. 3, it's said there that a student can choose a max. of three degree programs; hence, I chose BSCE, BSME, and BSGE, ranked according to my priority, respectively. Anyway, some have said that others tried applying for more than three? Was it real? :? Anyway, my GWA for the past sems. is (shameful) 1.80+

Incoming freshmen din po ako sa Diliman, though not Eng'g. Pero I'm thinking of transferring to Chemical Engineering. Mahirap po ba mag-transfer? May copy po ba kayo ng curriculum ng BS ChE? Thanks!

Hi! Wala akong curriculum ng BS ChE but I do remember na meron silang Chem 16, Chem 17, Physics 71 / 71.1, Math 17, and Math 53 on their first year. Kung taga-Geol ka, I trust meron din kayong Math 17, Math 53, Chem 16, and Physics 71 / 71.1 (you may take them on your first year), then try to shift in the summer sabay kuha ng Chem 17. As for admissions, I believe Engg requires a pretty high average on Math and Science subjects (around 1.75 or 2.00) and a pretty good total average (2.00 or 2.25). The higher the better, in fact.

Pwede mo namang bawasan yung GE's na kukunin mo on the 2nd sem para hindi ka overload. And yes, may ES 1 nga ang Chem Engg (lahat ng Engg meron except Com Sci), although hindi magandang idea na kunin mo siya kasi mahirap siya. I would recommend you to take the Geol subject (Geol 11, tama ba?). In case na hindi ka makapasok sa Chem Engg, hindi ka parin delayed for Geol.

Last na sir, incase na makapasa ako meron kayang macecredit na subjects ko? Dun sa form may nakalagay about 'Advance Credits' pero di ko naman gaanong maintindihan.
