I blame Mika Esperanza a bit kasi nagpadala siyan *** pinasok yung tajima sa court. dapat nagtiwala parin siya at binigyan diin niya ng bola si Mika Reyes. Kung nagtagal lang sa fronline si Abi i'm sure kinain ng buhay yung Tajima na yun.Super bagal kaya nun tas ang lamyalamya ng blocking tangkad lang meron siya. Di bale I'm pretty sure next game di na tatalab yan. DLSU learned their lesson already! Ateneo just got lucky today!

It was the day when the rookies carried the fight for the Lady Spikers and the veterans--with all their experience--faltered.

Maybe recognizing their tendency to commit alot of service errors after a long break, DLSU played it safe with their service. This turns out to be ineffective since it not only allowed Admu to set up their plays, but they still gave the opponent 10 pts net from errors (the point differential). Giving the opponents 10 points and still winning maybe is possible in the eliminations, but not in the championships. In short, DLSU failed to level up their game in Game 1.

Admu on the other hand made the necessary adjustments by improving their attacking and especially their defense. They shielded Valdez during service reception and they were able to do this because of Gervacio's vastly improved reception.

I did not expect Admu to put up a fight during this series being content in just making the finals, just like two seasons ago when Ust steam rolled over them when this batch of Admu players first made it to the Final 4, but in this game they showed championship poise.

Before game 1, the last time Admu won against La Salle on court was more than 4 years ago last December 19, 2007; and Coach Roger and this batch of Admu players was 0-9 against Coach Ramil and the Lady Spikers, so this is really a triumph for the lady eagles.

So the Lady Spikers faltered and Admu showed poise, but Saturday is another day.

The maturity of the ADMU LE is clearly starting to show. Congratulations to the LE for winning game 1. Continue the fight and win game 2 tomorrow. Don't let go of the momentum. Show more fire, more heart, more passion and more will. Good luck to all of you. Again, CONGRATS!!!

halatang kabado si Cha Cruz, may slight feeling siya na pas an ko ang mundo. Halatang tensiyonado siya being the only senior in her camp. laki ng pressure sa kaniya plus MVP pa siya last year. she lost her spunk after the 1st set. namimili pa rin siya ng sets hanggang ngayon. iyon ang lamang ni Mercado sa kaniya.

must win for dlsu. manonood kami sa wed instead kasi mas crucial iyon kaysa this weekend.
