It's sad that because of the TNTs, the chances for legit visa applicants are slim.

What I'm sure of is that may database sila & the probable reason why your hubby has always been denied is because of his TNT parents.
Will you & your daughter be affected by that? You'll only find that out once you try. Malamang kasi you will be asked in your interview if your hubby has a US visa, and from there, baka dun na ang determining factor.

Hello. Just wanna ask if I have a good chance of getting approved for a US Tourist Visa.

I'm 21, female, single. Fresh graduate, enrolled for a Masters Degree at UP. I don't have much money in my bank account. I haven't been in other countries, but planning an Asian Trip. I have been travelling locally. I have a balikbayan US Citizen friend that I have been travelling with locally that is willing to tour me if ever I have a chance to go to the States. She will help out in my expenses, and my parents will too, as a graduation gift. I don't have a relative in the states, just my godmother who is financially stable in California, and a family friend living in Ohio.

Do I have the chance to get there by December this year?

While you're young & you don't have a career yet, which may be taken against you, I will not discourage you from applying for a visa. There are still people in their early 20s who are nevertheless granted visas. We don't know what's on the VO's mind.
While you don't have much plus points to show to the officer, the least you can do though is to leave a good impression in your interview. It's all a 50/50 chance.

Decent naman ang profile mo eh. While you can provide those infos sa DS160 mo, depende na paano mo na imamarket ang sarili mo sa interview. Ü

And virstud, nah, no sched made w/the call center. I emailed the website about the prob though. Guess it's for my aunt to do the scheduling w/ the call center.
You're welcome. Ay, you know, that happened to me as well! Kaya natagalan ako magsked ng kids n inlaws ko last month. Remember I was asking around about them being scheduled together? OC kasi ako about these things, obviously .

I accessed my old profile online (the one I used for VRP) and found out I couldn't use it for my kids (from the call center agent whom I asked) kaya I needed to use another email add for them and made my eldest daughter the main user for the new profile. I added my other kids n 2 inlaws. When I was reviewing the info, I noticed di ko nailagay yung middle name ng 3 other kids ko. I deleted their profiles by mistake, thinking I can redo. Haha. Ayun, ganyan din error message. Kasi naipasok na details nila previously, ayaw nang kumagat. Even if I try to book online or thru phone, magiging separate profiles na daw sila. So since 4 minors to, I didn't agree na not guaranteed na same appointment times sila. They had to make a report which lasted almost a week. They'll forward it to their tech dept pa daw. Eh the clock is ticking and schedules might run out, I called them after 5 days and good thing na-override na nung agent I spoke with yung nasa online profile. Bale parang inulit nyang i-encode yung kids' info. Then I was able finish everything online afterwards.

I think this is the best part of your profile that will be most helpful to you.

Ay naku fly girl, sa frustration ko that time, I emailed their website to tell them about this 'glitch.'ü
Last time I tried to access my dad's DS160 na unsigned pa nun. I wanted to edit his profile then, but I couldn't access as I was asked to enter the first five letters of our surname, eh 3 letters lang ang surname namin...kahit ilang beses pa ayaw. Even the call center gave up kahit anong suggestions nila na mag-space and stuff. I was asked to redo everything. Oh well, sabi na lang ng call center irereport nila ang problema.

wala ng epin process now. Free na ang appointment but you need to schedule with your DS-160 and the paid visa fee.

    Update:

The Help Desk emailed me back, and this is the reply FYI (para alam din ng iba in case this happens to them):

In regard to your query, please note that the "An applicant with this information already exists..." notice appears when the applicant already has an existing profile in the appointment system. Please log-in to the applicant's existing profile rather than creating a new profile for the applicant.

Anyway, the call center told me may mga slots na daw this week for VRP, so I got a sked for my aunt@12nn this Wed, that's the earliest daw I can get.

    Hello all!

I was told to apply for a US visa because lenient daw ngayon. I don't know exactly how lenient they can be but I'm really scared to apply for a US Visa, given that there are a lot of instances wherein nade-deny sya, kahit na super fat at jumbo pa ng bank account.

    Here's my profile po:

    1. Single, 31 yrs old. Living with aunt and grandma, only child (dad is based in the province, mom is deceased)
    2. Currently working as Senior QA at a BPO company. 5 years work experience.
    3. Travelled to the following countries: HongKong, Shenzen, Singapore, South Korea
    4. Monthly Salary: 30,500+++
    5. Assets: none (no car, property)
    6. Bank Account Savings - Less than 50k pesos. I have around $1,000+ pero it's not in a bank. Naka tago lang sya sakin.
    7. Has 3 aunts, 1 uncle living in US who are willing to shoulder ALL my expenses (hence they told me not to worry about the amount in my bank account)
    8. Reason for travel: vacation and shopping hehehe
    9. Planning to stay in the US: 1 week

Please let me know what my chances are. Thanks in advance!
