Pwede ka naman magpa-interview ng maaga. 5 or 10 years naman ang validity pag multiple. Tapos 3 years naman pag single entry.

The VISA REISSUANCE PROGRAM (VRP) is indeed an expedited process normally not requiring an interview. This reminds me of a nearly similar procedure in the past called "drop box" which no longer applies.

The questions they ask you upon personal submission of your passport(s) and upon your finger-scanning are for verification purposes. However, the Embassy explicitly reserves the right to call you for an interview if they so require. There had been actual cases where a VRP applicant received a call from the Embassy requiring him to appear for an interview notwithstanding the fact that said applicant was qualified to renew through the VRP.

Carefully check the VRP requirements listed in the official US Embassy Manila website to see if you are qualified to renew under the expedited process. Good luck!

Certificate of employment issued by the company you are working for.

Once submitted online, you cannot change the DS160 anymore. Only when there are errors or missing entries can the VO reopen it. The VO required him to put also his highschool and elementary education. So he had to go out of the embassy, look for an internet cafe, and refill up his "reopened" DS160. Nakabalik na siya after lunch. Nabigyan naman ng 10M.

Regarding your plan to reenroll. Be ready with your enrollment certificates, forms and receipts. When the VO asks you why you have no work, then isingit mo na itong info na ito. Have a snappy answer, and pray that you can convince him that you are not a flight risk.

Fill up DS-160 for each applicant then upon schedule may portion dun na add family members.

Thank you! Yes I was approved!

The lady before me was denied (I heard the consul saying "this blue paper will explain to you the reason of your denial"). So natakot na ako bigla. Hehe.

    Anyway, the questions are:
    1) Why do you want to go to the US?
    2) Where in the US do you plan to tour?
    3) Have you been to places outside the Phils?
    4) I was asked what I did in two countries I went to in the past 5 years. (So, make sure na alam mo kung ano yung mga ginawa mo sa mga countries na napuntahan, especially sa mga not-first-choice-to-tour countries like Iran, Dubai, Afghanistan, Burma, etc.)
    5) What do you do for work?
    6) What is your net monthly? (The DS-160 has your gross. You should know what your net should be because I have the impression that given your gross, they have an estimate of what your net should be. Syempre, dapat alam mo kung magkano takehome mo.)
    7) What I did in my previous work? He said he was in the same field so meron syang mga technical questions. (e.g., What are "resistors" or what is Physics. Mga ganung level! Haha). Honestly, I had the hardest time answering this because hindi siya naniniwala sa akin. So pwedeng kunwari alam niya para mahuli nya kung nagsisinungaling ba ako... or mali talaga ang alam niya... or mali lang ako - hmm, No! )
    8) What was my course in college?

No documents were asked. I don't know yung validity though. Will let you know.
Congrats sir! 10 years na yan. Enjoy your vacation

I have a friend who wants to schedule it as soon as possible kase nga May na raw yung next appointment pero di pa siya nakakafillout ng DS-160?

Thanks! Hindi naman mahirap, smooth naman yung interview. Kaso minsan nga lang, medyo di mo maintindihan kung ano talaga exactly yung tinatanong. So ipa-clarify mo nalang sa consul.

Are you married? kids? income? properties? family in the phils?

Im sorry to learn about your grandfather. Pero, from US Embassy FAQs, the embassy is more concerned about what will bring you back to the Philippines after the trip rather than the purpose of your trip to the US.
