Hype it may be but it all still ends at the court if they can match the hype they built.

alam na bakit pinagsama ang UST and SSC-R sa isang bracket at ADMU lang ang malakas sa kabila....ALAM NA

    SO minamaliit mo ang FEU?

paano nga pala nadetermine yang groupings?
for sure may mga maduduming mag-isip na dinaya na naman (lagi na lang nandadaya ang ADMU hanubaaaahhhh???!!!) ang system para magchampion ang ADMU!

    hahaha

    UPHSD is a ncaa champs
ADMU is a uaap 2nd placer
FEU is a uaap 4th placer and had toe to toe games with ADMU and DLSU last uaap
NU is a final four team last year, uaap 7th placer
    SWU is cebu champs

    group b
    CSJL is ncaa 2nd place
UST is a uaap 3rd place
    SSC-R is ncaa 3rd place
    USLS is bacolod champs
    ADU is uaap 5th place

UST is the only strong team here, SSC-R & ADU are rebuilding so i'm expecting weaker bids in this season compared to the past, CSJL is still a weak team, even UP of our own UAAP can beat them, USLS has weak floor defense and needs good middle attackers

in group A, if you would assess, SWU, ADMU & UPHSD have strong players in each position, yes they are the teams this v-league aside from UST which you can consider of having decent or good middles, utility, opens, setter and libero, the rest have rebuilding spots in their first six, even FEU can be strong in this league especially if rumors are true of them getting a thai, so, group a is still a lot stronger for me

i'm expecting ADMU to win a back to back in this league with either UST or UPHSD as their opponent in the finals

Aside from Ateneo and San Sebastian, according to Mr. Tony Boy Liao, UST, FEU and Perpetuall will also get Thai Imports. UST and FEU will get middle blocker Thai Imports while Perpetual will get an outside hitter. Why not get the utility na lang di ba?
Ang FEU, feel ko hindi naman kailangan din ng middle, mas kailangan nila ng outside hitter, ka-opposite ni Rose Vargas. Haha. But let's see.

You're basing this of course on their performance in their home leagues this season. They are exclusively composed of playeing students. Another thing to consider is the entry of the Guest Players, which will definitely change the structure and level of the individual teams. I think you will change your perception per team when the final list of Guest Players are out.

In case of UST, saan mapupunta si Ortiz pag may 2 middle players na? Sana other position na lang.

^ their GP's will spell the difference....
regarding SSC and ADU's rebuilding status, I think Having a Bualee-Salgado and a Bautista-Benting will be a great factor in their SVL journey.

on the other hand, GP's need to get along very well with their locals as well. I remember UPHSD last Open conference ng SVL where in they are loaded of arsenals, two promising Thais Wirawan and Piyatida, Giza Yumang and April Hingpit as thier GP's but still they ended at the bottom of the stat board...

Well, Balse can play utility din naman. Haha. She has very good floor defense. Pero still, I want an outside hitter or an opposite for UST!

Mas naexcite tuloy ako sa V-League!

Queen Balse can play Open Opposite Maru
The other "said" Thai middle will tandem Ortiz in the middle
and Judy will still play the utility....
