GAME N GO sa Sabado na!!!!!!
Pretty Trizia, Arnel Ignacio, Shalani Soledad, Edu Manzano, Gelli de Belen, Tuesday Vargas, and Wendy Valdez.
Good thing na this is a 'game show' rather than a 'variety show'.. Hope they will provide something new to the televiewers
expect heavy traffic sa Quezon at West avenues this coming Saturday.
GNG must take advantage of IS clumsiness. ang disadvantage lang na makikita ko sa show na ito ay limited lang ang TV audience exposure nila kasi nationwide ang sakop ng GMA at ABS.
TV5, READY, GAME ‘N GO
"Hindi na uso ang primetime; ang uso na ngayon anytime."
Manny V. Pangilinan of TV5 network declared the evolutionary wall-to-wall programming strategy at the last Ad Congress. "We'll give our daytime programming the same importance we've been giving our prime time."
Perhaps the biggest action that TV5 has adapted toward this programming strategy is its introduction of the Monday-to-Saturday noontime show Game 'N Go, the first time the network is introducing a third noontime show, starting March 10 at 11:30 p.m. to beef up its dawn to midnight programming cycle.
And it is doing this in the smart way, that is, by not taking a frontal attack of timeslot leader Eat... Bulaga! as It's Showtime did. TV5 head of entertainment creative services Perci Intalan set its USP (unique selling proposition). "Concept-wise, we're more of a game show than a variety show. Game 'N Go will offer a series of game segments."
Hosted by Edu Manzano with Gelli de Belen, Shalani Soledad, Arnell Ignacio and Tuesday Vargas, Game 'N Go does not go up against Eat... Bulaga! hosts Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon and Ryan Agoncillo, who have shows on TV5. Perci revealed: "Actually, ipinaalam sa kanila 'to at alam nila na darating ang show. And we promised na hindi namin babanggain ang Bulaga.”
TV5 recently launched its all-day long programs and shows for the first quarter of 2012.
Good Morning Club, its news and lifestyle early morning show with Paolo Bediones, Amy Perez, Christine Bersola-Babao and Chiqui Roa-Puno opens. Game 'N Go beefs up its afternoon programming compatible with competitors with Felina and Isang Dakot na Luha, the weekday afternoon drama series with Arci Muñoz and Danita Paner, which air back-to-back.
It introduces a solid anti-channel surfings show after Willie Revillame's Wil Time Bigtime with Nandito Ako with David Archuleta, Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Eula Caballero and Valiente with Oyo Sotto and JC de Vera. This is followed by a Hollywood movie with soundbyte in Filipino, and Pilipinas News at 11 p.m.
Sunday programming is Toink! Sino ang Tama? at 2 p.m.; Kapitan Awesome with Martin Escudero on the title role, Andrew E and Empoy as directed by Joyce Bernal at 2:30 p.m.; and The Biggest Game Show in the World Asia every Sunday at 9 p.m. Other new shows are Insider and Extreme Makeover Home Edition Philippines.
And TV5 is clearly on target with its heavy advertising load and no channel-surfing success in the case of this writer!
