kung sa FEU -UST game confident ako manalo UST doon, ewan ko lang dito.![]()
ibang story na to
may Valdez-Cainglet-Gervacio ang mga mga Agila
pero dibale we have Ortiz sa Middle, Maru sa open and Judy sa utility and a deeeeeep deeeeep bench... not to mention ang buong baranggay na magdidilaw sa Sabado
sana maka isa ang mga Tigresa
hahaha.... may ganoong plan ba? hindi na sya nag work dun sa ADMU-FEU round 2 match eh.
UST can force a do or die match or possibly go to the finals.
Gusto ko manood pero wala ako sa manila ng saturday. Hoping for a UST win. Sana 5 sets ulit.
para sa akin sure ako mananalo ang UST sa sabado pero sa game 2 ewan ko lang i'm not sure ok pa *** pero gusto ko dlsu vs ust sa finals
A rather wishful forecast:
UST in 3-4 sets. They will force a do or die only to lose to Ateneo in 5 sets.
Steady open hitter and good utility blocker. Kelangan yan ng UST.
Too close to call.
UST will win if:
Their blocking clicks;
They're able to neutralize Allysa Valdez in the wing and in the middle;
They get to read Fille's smarts (dinks and off-speed attacks, etc.); and
Maika Ortiz comes up with her A-game.
Keys to win: solid blocking and very good passing.
Ateneo will win if:
They get their combination plays going;
Their middle blocking clicks;
Denden Lazaro becomes active in her floor defense (she was quite ineffective in their game against La Salle); and
Jem Ferrer distributes the ball very well even to the back-line attackers.
Keys to win: smart serving (not necessarily hard serves); very, very good floor defense to dig UST's spikes; and overall attitude on the court (the belief that they can actually play against La Salle in the finals should be manifested by their ability to go after each ball and maintain their composure even if the game is extended to five grueling sets).
Prediction: Ateneo in 5.
Ateneo in 4!!
Fortunately, they have learned some lessons from that loss against DLSU.
I could see a more aggressive Lady Eagles proving the point that they are the only team in the UAAP who could go toe to toe with the defending champion.
ONE BIG FIGHT!!!
It will be awesome if UST can nick a game so it'll have an exciting turn out. 5 sets on game 1 for UST. This is if they can kick their libero off the court. She is a waste of time to look play. She looks miserable playing. Her receptions are mostly poor.
But this is all wishful thinking on my part.
nothing against you but your post seems pretty harsh... she's a rookie libero, might wanna consider that![]()
pero syempre...like the saying goes.. that is your opinion naman so don't take my opinion din in a bad way sana
for me, ok nga performance nya as a rookie compared sa lahat ng naging libero ng UST.
UST-On/Off-Mode. UST in 3 sets (On mode). UST in 5 sets ( Off mood ). Go UST Tigresses! GO RHEA! kaya mo yan and be safe! Go USTe!
I understand. But you can't deny the fact that even seasoned players perform below their caliber sometimes... rookie pa kaya?? most esp sa UST, they are not known eversince to have a good floor defense. Pero Morado in her rookie year (within UST's libero history lang naman ha) is doing a decent job.
Emotions are important. Because we are talking about players... who are people. Even retards are people.
So many times I've seen UST ranking so low in the receiving and digging departments (not even winning a single individual award), the one on a disadvatage on paper, but come crunch time, hell they deliver- and win championships even. That's the kind of UST Volleyball I know, the real one, the team effort kind of volleyball. And that's what I'd like to expect this Saturday.
As a fan, a supporter, a die hard, a fantard, there's no time and no use to doubt. What for?
At the end I just want to yell GO USTe!!!
Kaya natin 'to!!! ONE FOR UST!!!
Hopefully both teams live up to the hype that this game brings. Hoping for a exciting and close game.
