    I watched the game...

grabe ang blocking ng GREEN SPIKERS...solid kung solid....at pinakanatuwa ako kay Renz Cassanova....bumalik na yong laro nya pala talaga...

    Blocking...Phillip bow...Arron, Carlo, & Myco...wow
Attacking..Myco bow...Puto superb ....again Phillip and Red

    FEU side....Labrador and Pitrus.....hands down...

next wednesday....I hoping Green Spiker can complete the road for a total UPSET....hehe wishful thinking lang...

    first six match ups:

    setters (De Ocampo vs Lubi)

De Ocampo is in contention for the best setter award but it didnt show much in their last game but then again his serves can be very lethal after all he was the best server in S73. however, Lubi has displayed more poise in their last match and has made good decisions in setting the ball

    middel hitters (Labrador vs Cerveza)

Labrador remains the top gunner for FEU with his middle hits and more importantly his backline hits which can cause difficulty in DLSU's defense. Cerveza on the other hand is a silent operator that is why his attacks cannot be read at the onset, plus, he is a very hard working blocker.

open hitters (Avila vs Dela Vega)

Avila's performance was quite forgettable in their last match coz his spikes cannot penetrate the solid blocks of DLSU but he is an explosive player and he can do a lot of surprised attacks, same with Dela Vega who can be very dangerous with his off the blocks hits.

    utility (Dela Calzada vs Antonio)

Dela Calzada's performance was not very solid in their last encounter, but he did gave some necessary points when needed, but hands down to Antonio coz he had a very spectacular peformance and was even able to attack from behind back row. he really deserves the ROY award in S71.

    middle hitter (Faytaren vs Rivero)

Faytaren was no contributor in the last game coz DLSU's blocking deflected his attacks and he was to replaced by Tonquin who also had a not so good perormance and interstingnly it was the same thing for Rivero who was replaced by another off the bench player from DLSU (forgot his name) whom I think provided quality peroformance for coach sammy.

    open hitter (Beliran vs Christensen)

Beliran can do a lot of powerful hits but he too had a lot of difficulties penetrating DLSU's blockers. On the other hand, Christensen's performance was a revelation for me because he is a lefty open hitter something which we dont normally see even in the international competitions. he was also very smart with his attacks.

    liberos (Gabriel vs Casanova)

Gabriel was a bit off with his floor defense and it was surprising that he was not able to get some of the much easier attacks from DLSU. but Casanova was relentless with his defense and i believe he even made it difficult for Labrador to kill the ball via his back line hits.

Sam Lubi is no longer playing for DLSU MVT. It is sophomore Brandon Santos doing the settings chores for DLSU

La Salle won simply because FEU had a bad passing day. This is the reason why La Salle was able to block the open hits of the Tamaraws. FEU's bad passing was partly due to the effective serving of La Salle.

Not to take anything away from La Salle's win last time, however, I'm afraid to say that it's the end of the line for them. FEU will claim the last finals berth on Wednesday.

FEU is just dying to crush UST in the finals. Ilang taon na silang umuuwing luhaan. At hindi 'yan nakakalimutan ni George Pascua.

Sana manalo ang La Salle against FEU on Wed. =D

even with perps, coach sammy designs the best combination plays.

whoever wins this series will surely give ust a difficult time in getting its five-peat.

All the pressure will be on FEU. DLSU's already done more than what people expected them to.

Exciting Wednesday for La Salle volleyball.

after their 1st semis meeting, i'd say this one's gonna be head-to-head. both teams will surely give their all on wednesday! can't wait!

pressure will FEU squad, sila dapat ang magdictate sa game to win the game dahil nagantay na sa kanila ang UST...making it to the finals means a lot for them to bounceback from their 2 years of being the bridesmaid.

on the other hand, GREEN ARCHERS has nothing to lose...they will just play their game and keep it going...

    GANDANG LABAN TO...

FEU should need first to defeat DLSU before they can have their revenge in UST. Hindi ko maramdaman si Pitrus ngayon unlike last season na deadly siya. Labrador is still Labrador. But they need to watch-out the Green Spikers, eventhough they're still in the rebuilding team, they managed to surpassed AdU, NU and UP() in the F4.
