Green Spikers for an upset in at least 4 sets. Nothing to lose and everything to gain.

with all due respect to FEU supporters here, i believe that after having won titles in the NCAA for the Perpetual men's volleyball team, Coach Sammy Acaylar deserves to win his championship title in the UAAP as mentor of our Green Spikers. our team is still in some sort of a disadvantage considering the fact that FEU is still ranked #1 but i believe that the determination of Renz, Puto, Myco and the rest of the players; Sir Nilo Pacheco; Coach Sammy and the rest of the DLSU men's volleyball team, we'll be back in the Finals and we'll win the Big Prize alongside the DLSU Lady Spikers.

ONE TEAM. ONE GOAL. ONE LA SALLE. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

    ANIMO LA SALLE!

Kapag sinabi atang DLSU parang PADER sa BLOCKING ah... both men and women...

FEU is #1 for a reason, those Tamaraws won't just keel over and die

Don't get me wrong, I'll be happy if DLSU wins, but let's manage expectations naman.

Re Myco Antonio: I think ka-batch niya sina Marano, so he should be on his third playing year now. Can play for two more years after this season.

of course, FEU is up there because of the way they played during the elimination round. i agree with what you said na hindi basta-basta tutupi ang mga yan. they surely have a plan for their second meeting with the Green Spikers on February 22, nasa sana ay paghandaan din nina Coach Sammy.

Sabi nga raw sa interview with coach acaylar, they weren't expecting to enter the final four this year given how young his players are. Nag over achieve na nga daw sila, hehe.

Pero nandyan na raw sila eh, might as well give their best. Who knows diba I expect feu to bounce back. Marami rin kasi silang errors last game.

In S71, they weren't in the F4. They finished the season in 6th place.

In S72, they were the #2 seeded team and they faced #3 seed ADMU in F4. They defeated ADMU 3-1 in one game.

Last season, they are the #2 seed again and they faced #3 seed UP in the F4. They easily dispatched UP 3-0 in just one game.

This season, they are the #1 seed and they can't even dispose of the #4 seed in just one game. Now, they are forced to play a do-or-die game.

So to sum it all up: this batch of FEU players have never been in this situation before.

They may have swept DLSU in the elims but those games weren't resounding victories. 4 sets in the 1st round and 5 sets in the 2nd round.

^ FEU is ranked #1, DLSU is ranked #4 as far as Final Four seeding is concerned.

kung matatalo ang FEU so bababa sila sa 3rd or 4th place kasi ang pagkakaalam ko kung sino ang matatalo sa #2 vs #3 seed will be 3rd place na sa final ranking. If matalo FEU dito will they be rank 3rd at bababa yung talo sa #2 vs #3 to 4th?

No. Kung matalo ang FEU, they will be automatic #4. Parang yung nangyari sa DLSU badminton team, when they were twice beaten by the #4 team, in the final ranking, they ended up at #4.

Oops, you're right, they did end up #3. FEU was #4 in both events.

For me, this is a test of character for FEU if they are ready to win the championship.. In the past two championship, kapag do or die na, medyo bumababa ang laro ng FEU, kaya sila nasesweep ng UST.. If they win this game on Wednesday.. malaking pagasa nila n sila na ang champion this season..

Yung Game nung wednesday, i would say, sobrang galing ng DLSU at sobrang impress ako kay Coach Sammy Acylar.. Sobrang impress ako sa improvement nila.. I watched The rookie season of Cerveza, Antonio, Dela Vega and Rivera during season 72, pero sobrang laki ng improvement nila.. For me, Si Cerveza ang most improved this season.. Naaalala ko pa yung First year niya, ang lambot ng palo niya tapos walang karga yung serve niya.. Pang block lang talaga lang siya, pero ngayon, ang galing n niya at sobrang galing na niya sa pag-block.. si antonio, magaling na siya dati pa, pero ang maganda ngayon. he is taking the lead sa team after umalis ni Macasaet at Lee (I have a question pala, i know my 1 year pa si Macasaet at Lee, did they skip this season or wala n talaga sila sa Team?). si Dela Vega, kahit medyo liability siya sa blocking, sobrang galing niya s floor defense.. i think, Coach Sammy deserves some credits kung bakit maganda ang pinapakita ng DLSU ngayon..

basta, i want DLSU to win the game on wed, pero kung hindi sila manalo, masaya na ako sa naabot nila.. wala naman graduating sa kanila this season eh.. and next year, graduate na si ramos ng UST at Labrador ng FEU, so malaki na ang chance nila.. basta Good Luck sa DLSU..

I watched set one, and here are my observations:

    -Grabe ang tataas nila tumalon!
-Mukhang mga totoy and DLSU players compared sa FEU players
    -Magaling ang blocking ng DLSU
-Masyadong gigil ang FEU, daming overcooked spikes
-Ang hilig sa back set ng setter ng FEU.
-FEU, tingnan niyo naman ang blockers sa harap niyo!

DLSU for the Win!!! Although, my heart will bleed for De Ocampo..really love him. Nakita ko siya bumibili ng pirated DVD sa Recto 5 months ago at since crush ko siya and not knowing na volleyball fanatic ako..nakibili ako ng DVDeven recommended on what movie to buy..haha
