sunday games for NCAA is only possible if PBA games on sunday will be at 5PM.

Why not? If we start early then it's better for the crowd to be there and eat lunch at the Arena or Coliseum. More revenue for the venues since it's a captured market by AKTV already! Of course, we will have to accommodate the juniors teams as well with this scheme! A long-shot but plausible.

One other option would be to just put two games on a saturday and just one game on a sunday. That would maximize our schedule since we are a league with 10 teams.

A contact also shared that St. Francis and UM may try to join so if we make it to 12 teams then we will definitely have to reduce the months allotted for our basketball season and a sunday would be a necessity. I'm just thinking of the possibilities just in case we expand again or if we're trying to avoid the season to extend. Remember, the season coincides with the wet season so expect suspended games when the typhoons are coming.

it's possible naman talaga yung suggestion ko since AKTV din naman ang coveror ng PBA so possible yung sunday double header ng NCAA.

Hmmm, I don't recall UM joined the UAAP. Trinity University and MCU were the schools that I distinctly recall that joined before. I'll try to read back again on former members.

Does UFL coincide with the collegiate basketball season as well? Looks like AKTV is gambling a lot with us if the schedule pushes through for saturday.

I just hope everybody including my schoolmates will not disappoint our new media partner. I consider this a blessing for anyone who can't watch weekday games!

yes, UFL is every sat 2-6PM and sariwa pa kontrata nila diyan sa UFL

Well we do know UFL's sched, but the question is, will their season coincide with ours as in by June tuloy pa rin sila?

I think it will be a logistical nightmare for AKTV to cover both the NCAA and the UFL at the same time. The best solution would be to coincide our football season with UFL to boost it's popularity as well.

if may weekend games siguro either basketball or volleyball pwede pa. but if its a weekday and may pasok, hows the parking? crowded masyado dun.
