5 more years with Studio 23 or 3 years with a weekend game with AKTV?

Would love to have weekend games with AKTV... Para makanood naman ako ng games (may pasok kasi eh. badtrip!!)

Here are just some of the things to ponder as discussed in the other thread:

1. VENUE - do we make MOA Arena our official home for weekend games or do we end up in San Juan? Cuneta Astrodome? Or heaven help us, Rizal Memorial (renovated?)?

2. CSR's - do we end up with untested talents or does AKTV have any plans of pirating our existing pool with Studio 23?

3. SIGNAL or VIEWER REACH - Those who do not have cable will badly need a good antenna (such is the case with my TV at home ). And sadly, our brothers and sisters from TFC will sorely miss seeing the NCAA, probably replays will be non-existent for the locals who can't see it live or on regular schedules. Will AKTV provide replays or internet streaming?

4. LIVE AUDIENCE - Will other member schools flock more on weekends and not just the established schools like Letran, SBC, and SSC?

5. MANCOM DECIDES TO STAY WITH S23 - Does that mean they offered something better in their 5-year proposal?

1. Venue - I still consider San Juan Arena dahil medyo malapit ako at madali lang magdala ng sasakyan compare to MOA,Cuneta and Rizal.. Although I still prefer games in araneta dahil walking distance lang pero milagro lang mangyari yun.

2. CSR - I think they could also do the CSR student coming from the member school just like S23 did. Pero If hindi nila yun gagayahin there some former CSR like my friend Fairylyn Sy who is currently working in TV5 and she said marami din dating CSR dun na nagwwork din sa TV5 na pwede nilang gamitin.

3. SIGNAL or VIEWER REACH - Pag nakacable ok na yan at kung antenna naman well karamihan naman na areas nakaksagap na ng signal ng IBC13 and like what we heard agressive yung pagupgrade and para sakin mas magandang maginvest ang NCAA sa ganyang klaseng channel dahil sila din magbebenefit nito in the long run. Problema nga lang ay yung replays pag weekend games ako nga kaya nag Sky kasi para next season makanood ako ng replay games eh hehehe kaso pag natuloy to magdedestiny na lang ako . Well sa TFC naman yun lang isa sa malaking impact dahil mawawala nang access mga fans\alumni na nanunuod sa ibang bansa. Pero like I said its better to invest to a company that the goal is to go up.


4. LIVE AUDIENCE - Para sakin eto muna pagtuunan ng pansin ng MANCOM bago nila problemahin ang coverage sa ibang bansa. Lure back the people to watch the games live first. The problem is when this students if there weren't have this kind passion or school spirit to support their team eh pag naging mga alumni na yan hindi mo sila din maasahang manood ng live. What irritates me is that some school even requiring their students to watch games in return for P.E. grades. That system should be stop kasi in the long run ang tingin nung mga studyanteng nanunuod lang dahil required sila eh annoyance ang panonood ng game. So impart the school spirit in other methods so that they will watch the games not because they are required but they want to watch it.

5. MANCOM DECIDES TO STAY WITH S23 - Magiging better lang para satin ang offer ng S23 kung kaya nilang ibigay kahit isang weekend games sa NCAA, period. Kahit ano pa offer na ibigay nila it will just be full of cr*p and NCAA will then again stay as the 2nd fiddle of the other league. Kung AKTV syempre todo investment ang gagawin ng TV5 para mapantayan or somehow maging competetive sa TV ratings ang NCAA

yes! may nagawa rin na maganda ang NCAA MANCOM. New opening venue (SM MOA Areana), new TV partner. goodbye abs-cbn sports. I just hope that TV5 will launch an international channel soon para wala akong ma-miss na games once I migrated next year.

expected decision IMHO.

kung gusto ng ABSCBN to keep NCAA badly just like ng ginawa nila sa UAAP dapat noong finals pa lang ng basketball ginawa na nila yan.

good move para may weekend games na din NCAA, full coverage of volleyball which is badly needed and sana AKTV will cover at least finals of other sports
ABSCBN sports will cover the finals of UAAP baseball, football, tennis and siyempre volleyball.

are you referring to the Fil-Oil Flying V Cup held every summer? yes allowed pa rin naman sumali ang NCAA teams. TV coveror lang naman ang papel ng abs-cbn doon sa league na yun.
