Advantage on UST over FEU, considering the absence of Morada and Roxas. If UST can stop Vargas, FEU will fall easily. If FEU can stop Ortiz and Banaticla, they have a better chance.

Considering fatigue, I guess it might be. Buti na lang 3 sets lang laro nila kanina and I don't think they were stressed that much with the game. I just hope they come prepared for Wednesday, since UST really had time to practice and rest.

6 games to go. It may look impossible for some but UST believers think that the Tigresses has this certain "confidence" that they can advance to the Finals.

Well, It may be hard for them since they'll be going against Coach Shaq and his new team.

UST should survive this .. to give justice to Aiza Maizo.

For this I'm match, I'd like FEU to win. am so impressed with the training that the coaching team does. the girls are mostly 2nd & 1st year students (except Eulalio I think) and they are playing at the level of year 3&4 already.

Nothing against UST, I just like the way FEU players gel and how Gizelle has shown maturity as a setter. sabi nga nung isang friend ko, di lang daw na train ng maganda si Gizelle. sya daw yung tipong pinanganak na maging setter - inherent talent.

all the same, good luck to both teams and praying for no injury to all players.

i'm not impressed at all with FEU's training.. why? if i'm not mistaken, they train twice a day, six twice a week.. it's not ideal for a student to spend 5 hours, at least, in training just to be competitive..

FEU will win if:

UST will have a bad passing day;

Maru and Judy's game will be off;

Rhea was not able to sleep very well the previous night;

Coach Odjie will phone in sick; and

UST supporters will not be able to watch the game live because it's a class and office day.

Keys to FEU win: Serving -- they need to be perfect with their serving because UST's passing is improving each game and is peaking at the right time; Maintain their floor defense -- they'll find UST's offense very difficult to block; Opt for combination plays -- Vargas will be a marked woman, so to speak; and just be alert throughout the whole time.

Key to UST win: just do their thing.


Prediction: UST in 4 sets.

Rooting for FEU til they face ADMU, then I'm betting my money on the other side just to shake things up. The usual UST La Salle finals is getting kinda old. Maiba naman.
