Update sa Board Exam

i was one of the "casualties" way back then - ouch! tried again after a year or so but double ouch! so after that, nawalan na ng gana (at pag-asa?). nagwork... after X yrs nagka-family... after another Y yrs heto...
so that heartbreak was forgotten - so i thought!

nung isang araw lang, pinag-uusapan on taking SIP classes; after all those cisco and ccna thingies...another technology is booming! At may biglang TING! si Board Exam nagbalik!
Napa-google bigla at heto, dito ako napadpad!

Honest opinion lang, on taking the board exam after... A DECADE?
I know, sasabihin nyo, BAKIT PA? Yes, i agree! Career-wise, i dont need it. Fortunately, kahit wala si prc card, im employed in one of may name na telecoms co. at happy naman ako.

Lets say, its like an Unfinished business for me.

And one purpose din siguro is to ask the LATEST/UPDATE from you about the BOARD EXAM and some TIPS as well! 4-subjects na nga! (heard this before, dinedma ko lang)... at nakakalungkot ding malaman na ang baba sobra ng ating passing rate...

Additionally,
Saan na ba nagre-review Mapuans? Pls recommend review center.
How is it? Sino instructor?

may nakasama ako sa review dati na parang parehas ang situation niyo. OFW siya at may pamilya na din, teenager na nga daw mga anak niya. Sa Qatar siya nag tratrabajo pero nag apply siya ng 6 months leave para lang mag review at mag take ng board exam.


Tanong ko sa kanya baket mag boboard pa siya eh established na siya bilang isang mechanical engineer. Sagot lang niya eh para ma "complete" na daw siya.

Hinde ko lang alam kung pumasa siya.

ECE ba kayo dude? 8 years na din mula nung mag-take ako ng board exam so I guess nag-abot tayo sa mapua. Marami na din changes sa board exam. When I asked my cousin nung nag-take siya ng board exam 2 years ago, iba na rin daw questions sa electronics at communications compared nung batch namin.

ECE board exam nowadays are very different compared to previous ECE board exams. Second to the last batch kami bago maging RA 9292. Nung time namin (November 2006) 3 subjects pa lang namely Electronics, Communications and Mathematics. Ngayon nadagdag na yung GEAS (General Engineering and Allied Sciences).

Unang dapat mong gawin is to remember your basics lalo na sa Mathematics. For sure matagal ka ng walang practice. Double time ka dapat sa review since yung technology noon eh ibang iba na ngayon.

Para dun sa review center, try mo mag-inquire sa EXCEL or PERCDC. Sila yung my mga magandang review materials.

DO NOT STUDY HARD, BUT STUDY SMART

Any additional MUST read na *****? Yeah iba na talaga technology and its running so fast. I hope you could recommend.

Baka you'd like ipasa mga books/review materials nyo, sasaluhin ko nang buong puso. Baka mapasa sa akin ang good vibes ng books nyo.
But seriously, if you want to sell it, ok din ako pero discount ha.
or kung ayaw nyo naman pakawalan ang memories of those books, sana makahiram ako... thanks in advance.

TIPS are welcome ha.
Naalala ko dati, un iba ang ginagawa nila, basa, basa, basa then pag malapit-lapit na board, dun na sila sagot ng sagot, mas marami ka madaanan/masagutang multiple choice mas maganda!!!

'Cause i just dont want to study hard but study SMART ---> tatandaan ko yan xybert. Baka eto pagkakamali ko before.

Problem ko lang is HOW to manage my TIME.

Share ko ***, meron ongoing free review for ECE board exam sa Mapua c/o Sir Balbin, pero parang supplementary review. As far as I know sharing eto ng resources from different review centers & may modules/exercises na pinapasagutan+ coaching din ata. MWF 2-5pm room NW201 pero *** klase sa feb.25, approachable naman yun c Sir Balbin.

Saan ba nagreview yung nagtop na napakaramign mapua last year? better kung yun nalang siguro. Pero mas maganda kasi katulad ng ginawa namin dati eh yung half ng friends ko sa kabilang review center and yung other half sa kabila para exchange ng reviewers. malay mo may tip sa isa na hindi binibigay dun sa isa andvice versa =)

un 10 topnotchers na Mapuan (considering na hindi sila un top ng batch nila) nung April last year, sa percdc sila nag-review, although i'm not sure if they've taken other review center.

i dont think it is wise to enrol sa 2 centres... pick one and focus lang.. i personally wont recommend na aralin pa ang notes ng kabilang center... jst focus sa matls mo and thats it... sa sobrang daming infos/notes/xerox etc... my cents... chem maj pala me... good bless
