hi my boyfriend and i have the same surname.. but as far as we have traced until great great grandfathers, both are different... i'm just worried on the application of marriage license where we have to present our birth certificate, they might think that we are related. Do we have to bring proof that we have different fathers, grandfathers or forefathers? Please help.. especially to those who have been married with the same surname, i will gladly appreciate your advice. thank you very much
