Kaya naman, at 13 ay nagrebelde na ito by going home late and hanging out with an older crowd.
Very active ang lifestyle ng dalaga, she’s a varsity player for volleyball at sa height niyang 5’7 at 14 years old, nakuha na niya ang 1st runner up title sa G. at Bb. Palarong Pambansa.

Villa girls confront Tricia, and Maichel is forced evicted.
Tricia’s stay has taken its toll on the Villa girls, especially on the quiet Devon. Yong, the appointed “guardian angel” of Tricia, attempts to patch things up between the original Villa girls and the newbie. Yong has a one-on-one with Devon in the room where she opened up her discomfort with Tricia. Likewise, he approached Tricia and gently brought up the topic that everyone seems to be tiptoeing around of. At this, Tricia couldn’t help but get teary-eyed, while holding her own with her side of things. Incidentally, they spotted the lost ring of Shey among the dishes, and Tricia decides to take another shot at getting closer to the rest, especially Shey.
The other Villa teens were bonding by the pool when Tricia approached them. She silently offered Shey’s ring, and it wasn’t rocket science to note that something major changed in Tricia’s demeanor; they knew that Yong already broke the silence, and Shey took it upon herself to follow through. She went to Tricia, who was busy washing dishes at the time, and stroked her hair. In a diplomatic manner, she brought out the issues of the housemates. Tricia, too, aired out her concerns. She wasn’t oblivious to the growing distance, after all. In the end, the Villa girls got a lot of tension out and perhaps a new understanding. In the Confession Room, Tricia held no grudges about her move. On the contrary, she was thankful for the experiences and the realizations that she got.
Meanwhile, the Teentramurals were still ongoing, with the two houses striving to win the first 3 out of 5 games. Villa got the first game, and two more followed. “Table Tinies” was the second game, where the teams competed in a game of table tennis – in miniature form. The final score was 66-57, in favor of Team Villa. Kazel couldn’t help but feel sad about their second loss, but not as much as Patrick. He was the appointed leader for the week’s task and a nominee for eviction as well. The pressure had him at a loss and he felt guilty about not being able to lead his team to victory. The rest of Team Apartment comforted him and assured him that it was not his fault. To inspire the team, Kuya gave them framed pictures of the family they were planning to help, and seeing their actual faces moved them to tears again.
“Spelling Bee” was the third game, where the housemates were dressed up like bees and the buzzer was a humongous flower. The spelling game featured both English and Filipino words. In the end, it was another Villa win, with 14 points to Apartment’s 10. Without a doubt, Team Villa won the weekly task and the Php 10,000!
The games go on, so keep watching PBB Teen Clash of 2010! Stand by for the Forced Eviction of Maichel, live on Uber. He has been trouble since Day 1 with his apparent disregard for Kuya’s instructions. Already put on automatic nomination on his first week because of lapel and shower violations on top of his task faux pas, Maichel was on a roll on his second week. Three times, he slept outside sleeping hours, and even his housemates wondered if he ha
Tricia’s winning mindset, challenged with her second nomination.
With the highest percentage of votes in her favor, Tricia survived the first round of evictions and is looking forward to yet another week inside Kuya’s house. Her first two weeks were quite trying, both on her and on her housemates. If her former housemates only knew the ranking, they would probably be surprised to know that majority of the votes went to Tricia, especially since she got the highest number of nomination votes from her peers. Apparently, the change in her attitude inside the Villa was enough to convince people that she deserved another shot.
At 14, she has already had a lot of experience being away from her family and living with different people. Dubbed “The Athletic Muse of Davao”, she is a volleyball player who has competed in regional and national games. As such, she spent a lot of time on the road, training and competing. “Kapag regional games, hindi kami nakatira kasama ng family namin. Minsan din, hahabol lang sila. Ang kasama ko talaga, teammates ko lang,” she shared. She is also used to mingling with new people. “Kasi minsan, may tatanggalin sila sa original team tapos may idadagdag, so parang iba-iba din ‘yung nakakasama namin.”
Sporty as she is, showbiz hasn’t been that far off in her mind. She has always wanted to join acting workshops, but wasn’t given the opportunity to do so. In her mind, she’d most likely be playing the lead role opposite Enchong Dee, while braving the piercing glare of Melissa Ricks. Tricia has been following PBB since its first season and entered the fray with both eyes wide open. From her auditions until now, she has remained steadfast and true to her goal. Of course, this did not mean she didn’t get tired or affected. On the contrary, she has found herself in several tight spots, but she stubbornly held her ground and faced things head-on. Like several hundred thousand teens, Tricia fell in line with a couple of friends and had to brave the mob-like atmosphere and hot weather. “Gusto ko na nga umalis sa pila, kasi sobra na nga. Pero nandoon na, wag nalang, panindigan na. Ayun, hindi kami umalis.’'
The mindset that propelled her into the final roster of housemates is the same attitude that she presented in the PBB house. She had an idealistic goal in entering the house, seeing it as an opportunity to influence and help the youth. She envisioned herself as a housemate ready to lend a helping hand. “Marunong naman akong makisama,” she believed, given her experience in dealing with people. “Alam ko din kung saan ako bagay at kung saan hindi.” Self-centered people try her patience, but her choice of action is to just stay away. While part of Team Apartment, she opted to just do her thing and avoid confrontation. In the Villa household, she has started to realize her shortcomings and face up to issues, enabling her to improve her relationships with people and get enough votes to stay on.
Yet, this was not enough to keep her off the nomination list. Not only was she nominated for the second time in a row, but the coming merge will have her reunited with her original team. Would Tricia be able to muster enough strength to keep on going? With her willingness to adapt and her sheer determination, there is no doubt that she will.
With a Forced Eviction sending Eslove out of the house permanently, everyone sinks into a melancholy state. The original Villa teens were sadder than the rest, with Joe and Shey hardly able to process the loss of the third of their trio. Tricia was the only one who was in the dark about what was happening and no one was willing to clue her in. Her insistence to find out was taken as adding insult to injury, as the rest were under the impression that Tricia played a big part in pushing Eslove’s case. Since she was indirectly part of the reason of Eslove’s exit, the animosity of the others against her just took a turn for the worst. Shey, Devon and Kyra pointedly ignored her and refused to listen to any explanations or apologies. Tricia tried approaching Joe, who was more understanding of her. He put his arm around her and she gave in to her own tears.
Yong, Tricia’s appointed “guardian angel”, was also nearing the end of his patience with his ward. Hurt as he was, Joe still tried to find some sense behind Tricia’s actions. “’Wag nalang natin personalin si Tricia,” he advised Yong. He figured that Tricia’s age was a big factor why she wasn’t able to get along with the rest of the housemates. “Tayo nalang ang mag-adjust.”
On a lighter side, Eslove and Becca recently celebrated their birthdays inside the house. In exchange for Becca’s celebration, the former Apartment teens offered to be the personal yayas of the Villa teens. Contrary to the last time they donned kasambahay outfits, this was voluntary. They eagerly welcomed their “masters” wearing yaya dresses – yes, even the boys!
How long will the tension in the house remain? Will this finally push Tricia to opt for a voluntary exit, or will the situation pile votes against her? The polls are still open for your votes, so text away and save your housemate of choice! Will it be a vote for BECCA, YEN, or TRICIA? Text BB and send it to 2331 for Globe, TM, Sun Cellular and Bayan Wireless Landline or 231 for Smart and Talk ‘n’ Text. The clash gets worse, and you wouldn’t want to miss out on anything!
Where do I belong? Tricia Fanatic or hater?
Yes, she's beautiful and we cant deny that one. From her height, her smile-- she's indeed stunning!
But her transfer from Apartment to Villa was kinda good for her. Although di sya masyadong nagustuhan ng iba pa nyang co-housemates ay mas lalo natin syang nakilala.
Yes!! I Like Tricia. I just don't get it if why do other people hate her so much.
They hate her cause she flirts?? Well, WTH!! Everybody does flirt! And it's normal for a teenager like her, most especially that she's still 14. Teenagers in her age love to get involve with other person. Hmph, aminin!! Selos lang yan mga te!
They hate her because she's plastic?? Si Tricia? Plastic? Kailan?
They hate her cause she's maarte? mataray? isip-bata? and etc? Well, nasa PBB house po sila.
Tricia's a threat.
Noticed? Well, she's indeed a threat.
Kahit ano man ang paninira nila kay Tricia, my votes are still for her. I'm proud that I'm a Triciaholic, Tricianatic, Triciafier, Tricia Pexer and etc, basta para kay Tricia.
Why Blame Tricia Santos for Eslove and Shey's Exit?
I really don't like it when Shey said this statement on last night's episode of PBB Teen Clash- "Ang dami mo nang napaalis Tricia". Why?
Rules are rules!!
If not because of Tricia, they wont do such violations!! Hmph, I disagree on this. Her mission inside PBB House in not to please everybody.
Again, like what I've said in my previous post, ang PBB ay isang bahay kung saan ipinagsama-sama ang iba't-ibang klase ng tao.
I just dont get it if why other people are so judgemental. Why dont you guys give her another chance?
She wants to tag along with me in her free time," sumala sa inahan ni Tricia.
"Trish is the typical teener, marunong mag-dream, pilit inaabot ang dream. When she was in elementary, she ran for a position in the student council and she won. She also wanted to write in the school paper and she was able to join the editorial staff. She wanted to be a varsity volleyball player, nagawa din nya," pahayag sa iyang inahan.
"Her most recent dream was to join Pinoy Big Brother. Luckily, nakuha agad," sumala sa iyang inahan.
Apan human nga mikatag ang mga isyu batok sa iyang prinsesa, isip usa ka inahan, siya midepensa sa iyang anak.
"Our family is confident na di ganun' klaseng babae ang anak ko. She is misinterpreted as a flirt kasi masayahing tao siya, mahilig makipag-socialize. Kung lumalabas, hatid sundo, chaperoned ang dates if ever," niya.
"She is a typical teener na naghahanap ng party, gustong makasama ang friends, mahilig magpatawa. She likes nice clothes, nice shoes, just like a typical teener."
"She likes kids. Recently, she was inspired to do charity work just like her grandfather. She and her best friend visited an orphanage and signed up for volunteer work there," sumala ni Frida.
"Her dream is to be an actress but we never expected na ganito. We appeal to Dabawenyos to love your own. Huwag namang sirain ang dreams ng iba. Malungkot ako kasi di ko maintindihan bakit may mga tao gusto manira ng kapwa tao. They do not appreciate the good fortune of others. Dapat maging masaya sila sa swerte ng iba," sumala niya.
"Pinagbigyan ko lang ang hilig niya. There was a time that I was so against her joining showbiz that she developed negative feelings towards me. Gaya din ako ng ibang magulang, hinahayaan at ginagabayan ang pangarap ng anak. Tumigil naman sila. Maraming tao na nagpapanggap na sister, boyfriend or best friend ni Trish. Nakatatawa na nakaka-inis," pahayag niya.

Anybody who thinks spinning hula hoops is a sissy game for anybody to learn, then that person might as well receive a kick... onto his hips. Just look at how the teen housemates are coping up - yes, they have been struggling! - with the weekly task that Big Brother gave them! Both the Pinoy and Teenternational teens have gotten frustrated why the hoops won't stay put and just swing around their waists and arms. Plus, the task of incorporating a hula hoop relay into their task contributed to the already-hassling twirls they had to keep going. However, giving up was not an option for them and their patience, practices and hard work showed in the face-off challenge Big Brother brought upon between the two teams.
During the encounter held at the activity area, Tricia was first to show her hula skills and impress the boy bedspacers. The awe on the faces of Ryan, Richard, Jack, Bret and James couldn't be helped as the 14-year-old athlete housemate spun off several hoops around her body which went upwards and downwards at a time. But Jenny's equally impressive twists also received kudos from both teams as she pawned Patrick during their one-on-one. And before anybody thinks the boys suck at this challenge... why, Carson, whose neck seems to be made of rock or iron, dangled all of the hoops around his jugular, in turn beating the star hula hooper of the Villa team which was Yong.
Meanwhile, friendships have gotten warmer around the bedspacers' side of the Big Brother house. For instance, the Teenternationals have taken to teasing Jenny and Ryan to each other, which the latter finds amusing and proceeds on fueling the situation. Jenny, however, tries hard to brush it off as for example, she denied Ryan the comfortable softness of her legs of which he asked to use as a pillow one time. But Jenny's hesitation only pushes Ryan, as well as the rest of the bedspacers, to "make fun" with their "blossoming relationship."
Big Brother is still in his hula phase this week for once again on today's Uber, the hoops remain the stars! This time, the girls were the ones given the chance to show their stellar skills in swinging those circles. The Pinoy teen girls and the female bedspacers were housed in the activity area, where they were to play the game of hula race. Tricia and April went on for the first round, competing against each other in shooting the hoops through the triangles set meters apart. The thing was, each player should make sure she's ahead of the game, otherwise it's the slime punishment for her! And unfortunately in Tricia-versus-April's round, April got stumped by Tricia and had to endure the sticky fluid come down her body as she did a set of hulas.
Will the Villa teen girls appreciate Tricia's lead for their team or will they treat this as natural, seeing as she has got the athlete's spirit in her after all? On the other hand, will April's loss dishearten her fellow mates and slow down their performances as well? Oh, well, it's just another game! Find out which of these group of girls is stronger than the other by watching PBB Teen Clash of 2010 Uber and Primetime every day!
Six weeks inside the house and the Pinoy teen housemates have fast-tracked their relationships with each other. “Kapag mas tumatagal mong kasama ang isang tao, lumalabas ang tunay na ugali,” commented Yen. Unfortunately, living in close quarters with people does not necessarily equate to building good relations. Instead of strengthening new friendships, the Villa teens chose to spend their idle time talking ill behind the backs of their housemates. For the Villa teens, gossip-mongering has reached to new heights, so much so that Kuya has already taken major steps in correcting such behavior.
Kuya’s first big move was to have Jenny and Richard from the Teenternationals dub an anime. The script was full of blind items and commentaries on the gossip happening inside the Villa. First up were the issues with Ivan. Patrick and Joe felt that he was a playboy who not only toyed with the feelings of the girls, but also seemed to have some insecurities when the girls gravitated towards them instead. Even Yen stoked the issues by telling Joe that Ivan said he was gay for being too close with Eslove. What was sad about this situation was that, among all the housemates, Ivan felt that Patrick and Joe were the closest to him, yet they were the ones who played a big part in the gossip. Ivan decided to take matters into his own hands and started by explaining himself to the others. '‘I’m interested in all of you,” he shared. “Para akong playboy yesterday, but I’m not. At least, I think I’m not.” He defined a playboy as someone who played with girls’ feelings, and he definitely did not want to be branded as such. To his close buddies, he allowed himself to get a tad emotional. “I never had a stable group of friends,” he said. Hopefully, he finds some within the house, minus the gossip.
Another favorite gossip hit was Tricia, the youngest in the house. The concerns on her attitude were now replaced by talks of her having unpleasant body odor and bad breath. Kazel and Yen were caught giggling about it in the wee hours of the night, and even when the blind item came out on the plasma screen, the teens still managed to laugh at their inside joke. Tricia was not as clueless as they thought, immediately picking up on the blind item as soon as she heard the words “immature, improper, cute, disgusting” in the description. When she said that she knew it was her and tried to defend herself, Patrick tried to lighten the situation by saying, “Hindi naman natin sure kung sino.” Kuya kept on replaying several hard-hitting lines from the anime, and those who did take part in the gossip finally got the message. To drive the point home, Kuya also spoke with Kazel, Yen, Patrick and Joe individually and asked them to put themselves in the shoes of Ivan and Tricia. Put that way, they realized just how hurtful and unfair they had been.
Yen, in tears, mustered the courage to go to Tricia. She realized that Tricia looked up to her as an elder sister, and as such, she should have guided her instead. Yen explained the difficulty of stating sensitive issues, but admitted that she should have talked to Tricia instead of gossiping about it. Tricia seems unfazed by all the drama, knowingly nodding her head and revealing that she actually knew who the gossips were all along. “Masakit kasi pwede namang sabihin ng harapan,” Tricia confided to Kuya. “Natutunan ko nalang pong i-ignore.” Kazel, too, joined the conversation and apologized for her actions. Tricia explained that there were times that the others borrowed clothes from her and just stuffed it in the closet after, clean or not, which could probably account for the stink. Trying to make light of the situation, she said, “Bukas maliligo ako ng pabango!” The three girls hugged and all was right in their world – at least for now.
Two housemates celebrated their birthdays this week-- Tricia and Devon. Tricia Santos, the Athletic Muse of Davao turned 15 last May 18, while Devon turned 17 last May 20, 2010.
Big Brother decided to celebrate their birthdays in the same day- last May 19, 2010. Here's the big twist-- their parties were held in different venues. Tricia's Masquerade-themed party was held at the Villa house, while Devon's COSPLAY- themed party was held at the Apartment House.
I Hate Big Brother!! Tsk3x.. Hello!!! Birthday ng dalawang tao. Anong gusto niya?
This week has been a very though week for Tricia. Aside from being nominated again, dumagdag pa yong mga tsismis about sa kanya, at itong birthday celebration. Grabe!! Bugbog-sarado ang bata sa linggong ito. Ewan ko lang ha, ganun naba talaga kasama si Tricia to deserve all of those? Di naman siguro ahh.. She may be a brat, a flirt or whatever those things that the Tricia haters are telling about her, gayun pa man-- she still doesn't deserve all of those things. Tsk3x..
What I like about her? --- She's very strong.
Well, dapat talaga siyang tularan!!
Happy Birthday Tricia!!!
Teen housemates get torn between Tricia's pool party and Devon's cake party.
Big Brother never lets any of his housemates' birthday go unnoticed and so once again, he proves this by providing a game today on Uber that carry on a prize the teen housemates need for the preparation of Tricia and Devon's birthday parties!
The game, which asked of James and Joe to participate in, consisted a task of going down the pool to collect respective stones with "POOL" and "CAKE" imprinted on it. James, showing his inner Michael Phelps, managed to get to the POOL stone for Tricia in a matter of just a minute (that's for being from down under, get it?)! With his successful aim, the former will in turn get a pool party for her birthday.
A pool-based birthday party is undeniably fun to be a part of but Big Brother does not make it easy for the teen housemates for they have to choose which between Tricia and Devon's birthday party to attend to! Now that the Summerge Part 2 has happened, on what grounds will the foreign bedspacers base their decision on? Will the Pinoy teens sway them and influence their choice? Or is this only one of Big Brother's test upon the strength of the teen housemates'? But no matter what, celebrate with them by propping yourself in front of the TV that blast Teen Clash of 2010 Uber and Primetime every day!
Spending 24/7 with someone can surely fuel a spark of attraction, and this was just what was happening with Patrick. “Sana pumasok ako ng PBB nang walang girlfriend,” he confided to Joe. “I’m trying my best to control my feelings, pero minsan mahirap talaga.” Earlier this season, Patrick shed tears over a note from his girlfriend, and he vowed not to flirt with anyone. Unfortunately, his close friendship with Fretzie seems to be taking a crazy loop, turning friendship into genuine attraction. “Hindi nawawala sa isip ko ang girlfriend ko,” he stated. Though worried about hurting his girlfriend, he decided to go and tell Fretzie about his crushing on her. Fretzie told Kuya that Patrick was really just a friend to her, but there’s still a long way to go and just where things will lead is still a mystery. Will Patrick be able to resist Fretzie’s friendly charm and stay true to his girlfriend, or will he risk everything to pursue the possibility of taking their friendship further? After revealing his feelings to Fretzie, Patrick also decided to come clean with Ivan. Ashamed of his actions, he couldn’t keep the tears from flowing as he apologized to his friend. Ivan understood Patrick and for future concerns, he advised: “Just ask me, dude. I’ll tell you straight out.” Hopefully, Patrick learned his lesson and would not repeat his gossipy ways anymore.
Another big thing was the birthday celebrations of Devon and Tricia. The two girls had their parties at the same time, in two different venues, and the rest of the housemates had to decide which party to attend. Soon enough, loud cheers were heard from the Apartment side, where Devon was joined by all of the PInoy housemates and some of the Teenternationals. In the Villa, Tricia sat alone, all dolled up in a long purple gown given by Kuya. It was quite an effort to hold back tears, and Tricia actually went so far as ask Kuya to allow her to skip her own party and join Devon’s instead. The party was well on its way in the other side of the fence as she hopelessly called out to her mom. Fortunately, in walked James to keep her company, bringing a plate of french fries that he cooked with Ann. He tried to cheer up Tricia as they ate their ice cream, telling her that he was sure more would follow since he invited everyone to go over to her party. “Okey lang,” she assured him. “I was expecting this. I was. Really. It’s been like this since day 1.” James had difficulty understanding Kuya’s reasons for having the parties that way, knowing how the other teens already felt about Tricia.
Soon enough, more people walked in, bearing plates of food. Jenny, Ann, Jack and Richard completed the party, and all tried to make it as upbeat as they possibly could. “Dapat mas maingay tayo dyan,” planned Richard, reacting to the loud cheers from the other side. Tricia was content with her five guests and enjoyed her intimate gathering by singing her heart out and bopping along to house music. They feasted on marshmallows, french fries, french toast, barbecue, ice cream and C2. Tricia gladly exchanged her gown and five-inch heels for a comfy tank top and shorts, just right for splashing around the pool. After swimming, they gathered around a three-tiered cake with pink frosting, sang a loud round of “Happy Birthday” and blew the candles all together.
All seem okay now, but how will things be when the two groups merge back together in one house? Will Tricia be able to keep steady after most of the housemates jilted her birthday? How did Devon’s party go? Stay updated and find out the latest happenings via the PBB official sites on Multiply, Facebook, and Twitter!
The second merge of the season has pushed through, but as much as the teens showed excitement about the new twist, it was not met with zero apprehension. As Devon told Kuya, “parang hindi kop o maintindihan. Iniisip ko pa ang mga susunod na pagbabago.” The housemates from both houses echo the same sentiments. Bret, who was most vocal about his doubts on this latest move, reminded his team not to get too comfortable. “We’ve got to keep our guard.” The merge was celebrated with much cheers and greetings, but even if they now live in the same house, the clash continues in major games and challenges.
Though nothing material was up for grabs, the consequences of Kuya’s next brainteaser was much more. Two PInoy housemates had their birthdays in the same week, Tricia’s 5th was on a Tuesday while Devon’s 17th was on a Thursday. The girls were asked individually what their dream themes were. To accommodate both, Kuya decided to hold the parties simultaneously in two different venues, decided by a mini task. The twist was this: the rest of the housemates had to choose only one party to attend, and they were not to discuss their decision with anyone. Each was given a budget of P100 to spend on food, which meant that the more guests who attended would also contribute more food for the party.
Devon and Tricia were allowed to invite everyone to their party. Earlier, Tricia opened the door to the girls’ room to speak to Devon about the cake. Little did she know that Devon was dressing up, and because Ivan was also by the door, Devon got surprised and flared up at Tricia. Tricia tried to assure her that Ivan did not see anything, but probably because her hormones were acting up this time of the month, Devon was too fired up and ended up cursing her. “I don’t need a cake!” She later approached Tricia and apologized, patching things up between the two.
Finally, it was party time, and the two celebrants were led to blindfolded to their respective venues to await their guests. Soon, Devon’s anime-inspired party at the Apartment filled up with people. Joe, Ivan, Fretzie, Angelo, Yen, Patrick, Kazel, Bret, Sophia, and Carson all trooped over and enjoyed some parlor games. Another big gift for Devon was her much-aspired college scholarship, granted her by Big Brother because of the sacrifice of Nanay Lynn and the efforts of the boys. Kuya revealed the terms behind her scholarship, and she promised to work hard at her studies. Nanay Lynn also was successful in her housekeeping task, and was gifted with P 10,000. The scholarship almost overwhelmed her, but not as much as her 100 seconds with her daughter.
Meanwhile, Tricia spent quite some time on her lonesome in her masquerade party. James, her first visitor, found her trying in vain to hold back tears as she listened to the cheers and shouts from the other side. Fortunately, four more joined their party: Jenny, Ann, Jack and Richard. Toasting C2 drinks and splashing around the pool, they still managed to make the intimate gathering fun and memorable.
Tricia’s party ended ahead of Devon’s, and the Pinoy housemates found her hanging out with James. They approached her and apologized for not going to her party, explaining that they thought everyone was going to hers. She nodded in acceptance, though doubt was still evident. James, who kept her company for the most part, could not understand why Kuya subjected Tricia to such an event, knowing that the other housemates had issues with her. Jack, like James, was bothered at the Pinoy housemates’ actions. “It seems like they don’t even care.” To Kuya, Tricia shared, “Siyempre po tanggapin nalang. Thankful na din ako kasi may pumunta.” Of course, she admitted feeling sad that not even one Pinoy housemate chose to celebrate with her, but realized that there was also no reason to stay mad. To cheer her up, Kuya showed her a video of her loved ones. Her parents greeted her and reminded her to pray always and assured her of their love and support. Relatives and friends also pitched in with heart-warming messages. This seemed to recharge her and Tricia was finally able to smile again. “Mas gusto ko po lakasan ang loob ko para harapin ang mga hamon dito at sa buhay kasi alam ko na marami akong mahal sa buhay na nakasuporta sa akin.” Resilient girl that she was, she stepped out of the Confession Room and invited everyone to eat her birthday cake.
Just how will Tricia continue living with people who don’t like her? How will both teams continue to go against each other while balancing it with being housemates? The clash continues, so stay tuned and keep watching PBB Teen Clash of 2010!
Robi Domingo finds teen housemate Tricia Santos pretty!
ABS-CBN.com recently asked former Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus housemate Robi Domingo about what he thought of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010. Robi shared, “Napapanood ko nga ‘yung clash ng mga Pinoy housemates with the teen-ternational housemates. Well, mahirap din kasi magbigay ng pieces of advice because it’s a very different ball game altogether na. During our time, we were just living under one house kasama na ‘yung ibang global housemates. Pero dito magkahiwalay. Ang masasabi ko lang, ang galing ng PBB. Nakita talaga ‘yung clash.”
Robi further confessed, “Ang napansin ko talaga sa batch na ito is maraming magaganda. Marami. Ha ha ha!” He almost blushed when ABS-CBN.com urged him to reveal who among the current teen housemates he finds the most beautiful, and even tried to avoid the question by jokingly saying, “Si Ivan (Dorschner), ha ha ha!” But Robi eventually admitted that he finds 14-year-old Tricia Santos very beautiful.
The former teen housemate also commented on the three consecutive forced evictions that happened this season, something that Robi never experienced even once during his batch. “Na-surprise ako nung marinig ko ‘yun (three forced evictions). Napanood ko ‘yung violation sa knife (referring to Eslove Briones who was force-evicted after pointing a knife at Tricia). Nakakatakot lang, even if it was a joke. Konting ingat na lang.”
Right after his life inside Kuya’s house, Robi easily got some showbiz gigs; he won the MYX music channel VJ search and became part of the all male dance group Gigger Boys. Though recently seen with fellow PBB teens alumni Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson in the box office film Paano Na Kaya?, Robi said he finds it hard to do acting jobs at the moment. “I’m working on my hosting career right now. Acting kasi is a tough job because it requires so much time, e hindi ko naman mabigyan ng sobrang panahon ngayon because I also have school. Incoming third year na ako. Two more years pa and I’m done. Let’s see what happens.”
But Robi fans need not fret because he is expected to top-bill a mini-episode in the upcoming Star Cinema horror flick Cinco together with Gigger Boys pals AJ Perez and Sam Concepcion. He clarified that there’s no reason for other Gigger Boys members to feel jealous that only three of them were chosen for this movie. “We can’t really say why because everything is up to the management. Sa aming Gigger Boys wala namang isyu ng inggitan. We’re all good friends.” Robi is nevertheless thankful that he will have his close friends on the set of this film.
Robi, AJ, and Sam are also preparing for the what seems to be the most challenging requirement of their roles in Cinco, and that is having to wear nothing but their boxer shorts all throughout the entire film. “It will be the first for all of us so let’s see how it will turn out, ha ha ha! Kami ni AJ matagal na rin kami nag-gym and Muay Thai so tuloy lang namin so we can get in shape.”
After the announcement of the Teenternationals’ victory, the PInoy housemates could not help but be bothered with the distribution of slots to the Teen Big Night. Because the last weekly task was equivalent to 2 slots, the Teenternationals now held 3 slots to their 1. Looking back, they realized that, had the Over-the-Top challenge not been a draw, they could have easily won the weekly task.
After some time, Angelo paid a visit to Kuya, obviously distraught. “Kung magvo-voluntary exit po ba ako, mababawasan ang ma-e-evict?” Angelo explained, “Sobra-sobra na po ang natanggap ko. Nagpapasalamat po ako sa lahat-lahat. Ayoko po manghina ang loob ko sa housemates ko.” He felt that their team’s loss was his fault, since it was because of his injury that the game was halted. The only way he could think of to salvage his image and escape guilt was to give up his slot for someone else. “Hindi ko na po kaya magpakatatag. Gusto ko po mag-sacrifice.”
Though Kuya did understand where he was coming from, Kuya responded with some tough love. “Anong mensahe an ipinararating mo sa nga kabataang naghangad na makapasok ng bahay ko? Ito na ba ang Pinoy housemates, mahina ang loob at walang paninindigan?” This seemed to shake Angelo enough. “Minsan, kailangan mong ipaglaban ang sarili mo. Ikaw lang ang gagawa niyan para sa sarili mo.” Finally, Angelo decided to stay for as long as he can, choosing to be strong and prove his worth. “Mamahalin ko po ang sarili ko. Magpapakatatag po ako.”
If Angelo just barely pulled back his VE decision, she who had survived all blows since day 1 is now in danger of being ratted out by her own body. It was the middle of the night when Jenny suddenly roused all the housemates to help Tricia. Whatever issues they had against her, it was not too much that they would leave her to suffer. They brought her to the Confession Room, where she told Kuya about her sudden palpitations. This had happened to her before, but it was too far back to take serious note of. She had a heart condition called mitral valve prolapsed (MVP) and had to be taken to the hospital for observation. Will she be as lucky as the ones before her and come back within the 24-hour window, or will this lead to her permanently remaining in the outside world?
Just this week, Tricia was brought to the hospital in the middle of the night to be checked for her sudden bout of palpitations. Already having a history of mild mitral valve prolapsed (MVP), Kuya deemed it best to have her observed. Fortunately, she was able to return within the 24-hour window, feeling much better. According to the doctor, it had almost nothing to do with her MVP heart condition and more to do with the stress. Armed with pain reliever, Tricia settled in bed to get ample rest.
With stress the prime trigger to her palpitations, then she probably was doomed to experience much more of these episodes with the heightened friction within the house. Now, even the Teenternationals are against her, being one in the opinion that she is not what she seems to be. James now feels that she is an attention-seeker, while Jack shared instances that made him come to the conclusion that Tricia could cry on cue. In fact, when Tricia approached them to reach out, they looked for the rest of the team, to which Tricia replied, “They’re coming, just wait.” She turned to go, and the Teenternationals were unmoved. “Cry on cue, wait for it,” they muttered. “1,2, 3, 4,5.” Apparently, Tricia heard this, and by the time she entered the room again, she was already in tears. Joe comforted her, but did not dwell on her pain anymore, explaining that the Teenternationals were mad for a reason. At first very vocal about the Pinoy teens deserving the two slots, Tricia amended her stand saying that what was more important to her was saving the friendships. To the Teenternationals, she backed her intention by stating that it was the Teenternationals who were there with her on her birthday, and was first up when she got sick. These were enough for her to forego the big prize, if only to retain their favor.
At the rate things are progressing, peace within the house was a near impossibility, at least for now. Tricia, most of all, would really have a tough time regaining the trust of the Teenternationals since they have already formed a united opinion against her. Should she wish to salvage her image, then drastic changes had to take place. Would these efforts, if any, be noticed in the midst of all the issues? One can only hope.
For the nth time, Tricia again joined the list of nominees for eviction. “Iniisip ko din po kung bakit ganoon,“ she shared to Kuya. Hearning her name mentioned does not surprise her anymore, but that does not mean it was something she looked forward to. “Okay lang po, kasi may nakikita rin siguro silang pagkukulang ko.” Time and again, Tricia has promised to change her ways and be more mature. Yet, until now, she remains to be the housemate found most difficult to get along with. She was the popular vote of the other teens, except Fretzie and Angelo, to the unwanted title. Ann noted her flirtatious behavior, while Bret pointed out her moments of drama. James, supposedly close to her, revealed that he couldn’t live with someone who always sought attention. He shared, “I can’t live with her because of her annoying personality!”
With the resentment simmering but growing inside the house, Kuya called in Ivan and Ryan to intervene. “Ang linggong ito is all about helping,” Kuya stated. Much as they are helping a good cause with their week’s task, they also could help one of theirs. The two boys talked to the rest of the housemates while Tricia was in the Confession Room and, with Ivan at the helm, planned how to best help her out. “We need to find indirect ways of helping her,” said Ivan. They noticed how much of an attention-seeker Tricia was, so they tried positive reinforcement to move her. Rather than a lengthy confrontation (negative reinforcement), every time Tricia does something good, the others would call attention to it and praise it.
To further aid the teens, Kuya sent in Dr. Randy Dellosa to shed some light on the concern. Jenny, Ivan and Fretzie were called in to question Dr. Dellosa. After they shared their own observations, Dr. Dellosa explained that all people have different personalities, and they had to understand Tricia’s in order to intervene effectively. In this case, Tricia’s personality had a name: HPD.
Histrionic Personality Disorder (HPD) is characterized by excessive emotionality, attention-seeking, excessive need of approval and inappropriate seductiveness. It usually manifests itself as early as young adulthood. Features associated with this include geocentricism, self-indulgence, enthusiasm, flirtation, continuous longing for appreciation, easily hurt feelings, flair for the dramatic, and persistent manipulative behavior. Though no direct symptom has been discussed, it is mostly attributed to major events or genetics.
Duly noting all these, the three helpful teens were able to extend their patience a bit more. Jenny thought Tricia was simply spoiled before Doc Randy’s explanation. Fretzie decided, “Kami nalang ang mad-aadjust at tutulong.” Their objectives, according to Ivan, were to help Tricia be a better person and to seek attention the right way.
How will Tricia respond and just how effective will they be? Will the other housemates be as receptive to the explanation, or will their irritation make them cynical already?
The cold war between Tricia and her fellow teen housemates.
Game isn't yet over for the teen housemates' campaign for Tricia's battle in character change. For the past couple of days, Big Brother gave them the task of applying the silent treatment on her, as an indirect and temporary cure for her obsessive attention-seeking.
The teen housemates, only wanting to help Tricia shed off this particularly unpleasant and unwanted behavior, agreed to do just that and grew noticeably indifferent to the presence of their most "problematic" fellow teen housemate. They didn't speak to her, unless she initiated. Also, they tried their very bests to keep a well-defined distance from her to avoid any kind of communication.
Hungry for attention that she may be, Tricia was not that dense to not notice what was going on. She approached James, who was tucked in bed attached to his oxygen tank, and tried asking him if he knew what was up with their fellow teen housemates. But James wasn't able to give her a satisfactory answer which led her to knock on Big Brother's confession room door. "Bakit po sila ganito sa akin? Wala po talaga akong alam (Why are they being like this to me? I really don't know anything)," she sobbed. Her mix-up is explainable since she has made big steps in trying to change and adapt accordingly inside the house, like cooking for her teen housemates and doing small yet significant stuff for them.
While Tricia was pouring out her emotions to Big Brother, the teen housemates were at the same time discussing her in the bedroom. When they were called next into the confession room later on, they admitted to Big Brother that they "felt bad" about ignoring her but still felt firm about continuing the task because, after all, it was for her benefit. However, as Big Brother already explained to Tricia what was happening between her and them, he told the teen housemates to explain their sides themselves to her, which is what they did so. Jenny started on with telling Tricia that there was something "wrong with her attitude," to which Ivan supplemented with: "Everybody wants attention but you try to get attention in the wrong way." Tricia answered to this by explaining how she has never known how to act "righteously" around people her age owing to the fact of being endlessly bullied in school.
Tricia has time and time again used this explanation, if not excuse, to defend her "wrong ways" and the teen housemates have already let loose of every possible way they could think of to help her change. Let's just hope they still have one more bomb on reserve just in case Tricia still hasn't learned something from their latest battle.
Someone’s fate was sealed tonight, along with the closing of the polls. The four nominees – Bret, Jenny, Tricia and Devon – were already given a week’s extension and the chance to be part of the Big Goal Concert. This reprieve did not stop the outside world from keying in their save and evict votes, though. The four teen housemates may have temporarily forgotten their iffy situation with all the concert preparations, but with eviction night just a couple of days away, it was just a matter of time before they had to face the fates again.
Kuya called each of the nominees in the Confession Room for some retrospect. He asked them (1) what changes happened while inside the house, (2) regrets, and (3) what to do to anyone or all of the remaining housemates. Looking back, she regretted blocking Tricia and being mean to her. As an act of giving, she decided to tidy up the girls’ bedroom.
“I started to care more about others,” realized Jenny. She was not as attentive to others prior to her joining, and for her resolution, she planned to be nice to Ryan in a week, beginning with cleaning up his closet. Her act of kindness did not remain anonymous, because James walked in on her. She was so surprised that she plopped down on the floor and made flimsy excuses to cover up what she was doing. Not so tough on Ryan after all, huh?
Tricia was next, and she had quite a lot to look back on. “Natuto po akong makiramdam sa ibang tao. I learned to be a leader of my own self and be independent,” she shared. “Noong first month ko po, ang selfish ko,” she admits. She regretted her selfish actions that led to others finding her a difficult person to be with. She now realizes that, had she paid more attention to others early on, she would have gained more friends. Of the remaining teens, Fretzie was the one who she felt cared for her somehow, and Tricia decided to cook Fretzie’s favorite food. She took Fretzie and Bret aside and served them a special meal.
“I have grown to respect other cultures a lot more,” answered Bret, the last nominee to be called in. “I learned a lot about teamwork and about caring for each other and about becoming a family.” Of regrets, Bret had none. “I try to enjoy everyday inside the house,” he stated. He always gave his best and lived each day to the hilt, truly making the most of his PBB experience. His growing feelings for Fretzie was already a bonus, and it wasn’t surprising that he, too, chose her to do something special with. He requested for some face paints and spent a no-frills afternoon playing with Fretzie.
The next one out will impact the outcome for the others. The Teen Big Night has already opened six slots, three each for both teams. If a Pinoy housemate leaves, then the 3 Pinoy housemates are set. If a Teenternational leaves, all the remaining housemates will be subjected to the outside world’s vote. Watch out for this week’s eviction night, live on Friday, and find out who the next ex-housemate will be!
Tricia Santos is evicted from Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010.
The housemates had a ball performing at the "Big Goal" concert last June 10, 2010. The concert aims to raise funds for the Philippine team slated to compete for the Homeless World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on September, 2010. Thirty "Golden Ticket" sponsors had the rare opportunity to watch the live performances of the teens right inside Kuya's house.
They danced up a storm and sang their hearts out all for a good cause. The show ended with the housemates singing "I'll be there for you" that brought the audience on their feet. In short, the "Big Goal" concert was a phenomenal success.
After savoring the joy and triumph of completing the "Big Goal" concert, harsh reality once again struck the housemates nominated for eviction. The nominees for this week are Teenternationals Bret Jackson, Jenny Kim and Pinoy housemates Tricia Santos and Devon Seron.
Once again, the "Vote to Save" and "Vote to Evict" scheme is implemented during the competition. If a Pinoy housemate is evicted, the three remaining Pinoy housemates become part of the "Big Six" Final Night. But if a Teenternational housemate is evicted, all the housemates whether Pinoy or Teenternational will then be subjected to public voting for eviction.
Among the four nominees, the first called to be saved is Pinoy teen Devon followed by Teenternational Jenny. And before calling the third "saved" housemate host Toni Gonzaga asked nominees Bret and Tricia "why is it very important for you to stay at the Big Brother house?" Tricia replied "It's important for me to stay here because I know that I can do much more and show much more." "I'd really like to stay and make my family really proud" was Bret's simply remark.
Satisfied with their answers, the host called on Bret's name as the third nominee saved. Tricia is the latest evictee from Kuya's house. As a result of Tricia's eviction, Devon Seron, Fretzie Bercede and Ivan Dorschner automatically become part of PBB's Big Six.
Tricia scored the highest for "eviction" votes at 31.89%. Devon got 13.95%, Bret at 2.10% while Jenny got 0.83%.
With the Internet votes combined, meaning the "Save" and "Evict" votes, Bret scored the highest at 9.12% , followed by Jenny 2.62%, Devon at -3.50% and Tricia at -5.75%.
Tricia was joined by her Tita Angela as she stepped out of Kuya's house. Host Toni Gonzaga welcomed her back to the outside world and asked her if there are differences in her character before and after joining PBB.

The 7th eviction night got pushed back for a week, allowing the last 9 teens a chance to take part in the Big Goal concert together. Bret, Jenny, Devon and Tricia were last week’s nominees, all given a week’s reprieve as they attended to a bigger concern: helping out the Philippine Team to the 2010 Homeless World Cup. They were able to raise more than the expected amount, thanks to the overwhelming response of generous Kapamilyas.
The high has subsided and the reality of eviction night had to be faced. After all, they were already given an extra week. The dual voting system gave voice to both save and evict votes, where the evict votes would be subtracted from the save votes, and the net vote would decide who the next evictee would be.
The votes have spoken, and the decision is final: Tricia “Athletic Muse of Davao” Santos is the latest evictee. She has been a consistent nominee since the beginning of the season, but she has always managed to dodge the actual eviction. In fact, she has always received high votes, and this did not change to the end. With 26.12%, Tricia still received the highest percentage of save votes. However, she also got the highest evict votes at – 31.89%, leaving her with a net vote of only -5.76%.
Probably because she has been nominated for so long, Tricia was more than ready to step out of the house. She had been through a trial of fire, after all, with issues left and right. The moment Devon and Jenny were declared saved, Tricia already started waving goodbye to her housemates. It was quite anti-climactic, given her dramatic stay, to have no tears at her exit. Maybe it was because she expected it, maybe it was relief, or maybe it was a sign of maturity. For all the claims that she cried on cue, at her moment in the limelight, Tricia walked out with a smile and quiet acceptance.
Fans cheer our loud as she walked onstage, showering her with the acceptance she craved. Her aunt, Tita Heidi, was there to fetch her. Asked who she was then and now, Tricia replied, “Dati po napaka-immature ko, aaminin ko po. Pero ngayon po, nag-improve na ako.” Everyone has flaws and shortcomings, and it is all that one can hope for, really: to keep on growing, to keep improving one’s self.
At Tricia’s exit, the three PInoy housemates left were assured a slot at the Teen Big 6. Fretzie, Ivan and Devon are sure to be there on the last night of the season. Voting is now officially open for the remaining 8 housemates. It’s all save votes this time, and it will determine the ranking of the PInoy housemates as well as who among the Teenternationals will join them in the Teen Big Night. There are 5 Teenternational housemates left, and the top 3 will join the 3 Pinoy housemates at the end. Just text BB (housemate’s name) and send it to 2331 to Globe, TM, Sun Cellular and Bayan Wireless landline or 231 for Smart and Talk n Text.
Don’t miss out on the last 15 days of PBB Teen Clash of 2010, as the teens bond as one to face more challenges and trials to prove their worth as Teen Big 6. Join them in The Big Debate on Sunday, with host Bianca Gonzalez. Listen and be informed. Vote wisely.
FORMER Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen housemate Tricia Santos is clueless as to why she became a constant subject of talks inside the PBB house.
In the Sunday afternoon showbiz talkshow "The Buzz", the Athletic woman contender from Davao went straight and said she did everything to adjust to all her co-housemates.
"Lahat po talaga ang problema ko sinasabi ko sa kanila kasi ayoko po yung nag-uusap sila sa likod ko," she said.
The ex-housemate admitted that she be staying in Manila and will enroll in a home study program while trying her luck in showbiz.
Tricia is also hopeful that she will get to work with "Magkaribal" star Enchong Dee in the future.
When asked on whom she want to be the PBB Teen Clash Big Winner, Tricia picked Ryan from the Teenternational housemates.
PBB Big Night will be held in Ynares Sports Complex in Antipolo City on June 26.
Tricia was, undeniably, the sole housemate that managed to get a reaction from her other housemates. At her eviction, how would the other ex-housemates receive her? Would it be a pure working relationship, or is there any chance that she would be received as a friend?
Becca: She's really sayang but at least she stayed in the house for a long time. I think we can hang out naman kasi i think she changed na
Richard: The addition of the vote to evict really made a difference to tricia’s unexpected eviction. I guess this time, the fans of the other nominees made their voice heard. Due to tricia’s overwhelming popularity and support, I can see a clear future regarding tricia’s future.
Sophia: Sayang naman si Tricia, but I believe that it is God’s way. I wish she will enjoy her life in the outside world.
Carson: Anything is possible, but I would first like to see what Tricia is like in the outside world before making any decisions.
And baka hang out na din?
Shey: Makakasama naman siya lumabas sigurado. Everything happens for a reason, maybe the other housemates deserve it more kasi maganda na ‘yung buhay niya so she doesn’t need it as much as the others do. Devon ako! Whee!
Joe: Ewan.
The ex-housemates have mixed reactions, but whatever way one looks at it, they will all share the bond of being a PBB housemate. Hopefully, their shared experiences will lead them to stronger friendships.
PBB Teen ex-housemate Tricia Santos is clueless about the reason she is disliked by fellow housemates.

It is not exactly a secret how host Mariel Rodriguez is fond of the latest evictee Tricia Santos when she was still inside the Big Brother house - every time there was a reel about her, Mariel would never fail to voice her comment and sometimes would scrunch her face up into Tricia's signature facial expressions... not to make fun of her, but for fun! That was why her glee when Tricia showed up on Uber earlier was uncontainable, she even blurted out "We're like sisters!" to her to show how excited she was to have her on the episode. Mariel was also all praises on Tricia's height - "Grabe, 5'7! Nakaheels pa ko today ha! (Wow, 5'7! And I'm already in heels today, huh!) - and her special guesting on The Buzz yesterday, where she was given the chance to clear the issues about and surrounding her stay inside the Big Brother house and her relationship towards her fellow teen housemates. As for her message to her fans and "best friends," she said, "Sa mga nagmamahal saken, maraming salamat po. (To all who support me, thank you so much. I fight for all of you. And to my haters, I meant, best friends, if not for you, I wouldn't have been able to feel the love of my supporters for me)."
But actually, Tricia wasn't the only former teen housemate who hang out with Mariel this afternoon. All evictees but Shey (who is currently sick) were all there to come together for the special two-week countdown on Uber! Each of them were divided into day groups: Monday consists of Yen, Kyra, Jovic and Joe; Tuesday with Yong, Eslove, Patrick, Kazel and Maichel; Wednesday involves April, Jack, Carson, Richard and Sophia; Thursday includes Becca, April, Yen and Kyra (again), while Friday group is made up of Pots, Joe, Eslove, Patrick and Kazel. Wouldn't anybody say Uber's gotten more exciting now that the season's creeping up into its final days!

We knew she was just exploited as a cash cow, haters rejoiced and laughed like ill hyenas. But in the end, she has just "Leveled up"!
A day will come for the underdog to win, now the underdog has become the hero (Heroine, in other terms)!
Well, as the final saga of Tricia Santos’ stay inside the Pinoy Big Brother house ended last Friday. The fallen hero of many, has cried. How those fans have fallen, the mighty fans that count by the ten thousands and even more. The detesters/haters/critics of Tricia rejoice and party like it’s a festival of debauchery and lasciviousness. Anger, Pain, Sadness, Regret, Remorse… these are what people either feel for the heavily-criticized housemate.
Names were given to her by her detesters : Turicia, Touring, Echoserang Frog (Annoying Frog), Tricia, Flirtricia, Flirt and so goes on the bitter hatred shown by the detesters. But today, we are not going to talk about their victory, but rather about the Victory of Tricia Santos and the same Victory she shares with the Pro-Tricia, Tricianatics and other Tricia Santos Fan Organizations. As she left the house on friday, many mourned, but when news was spread of Tricia Santos appearing in a sunday afternoon gossip show, that brought joy to the fans and slowly people moved on and smiled for a bright journey awaits her in stardom. As that sunday passed, people were in shock and joy when Tricia Santos also co-hosted in Pinoy Big Brother: Uber (A Pinoy Big Brother Segment that focuses on the Highlights of the events inside the house.) and she’s there for ONE WEEK, it’s nice. Whether you like her or not, she is there to stay and she is there to shine like a star so bright. Not only that she has the support of true people who appreciate her, to augment her smile and happiness outside. Without the need or help of those housemates inside the house who did nothing but crazy things.
Tricia, we support and salute your bravery and strength! You show the true value to pinoys everyone. A real role model for the teens. Some people may not appreciate you, but there are many more who appreciate you (friends, family, fans, etc) for who you are.
Ex-PBB teen housemate Tricia Santos meets her crush Enchong Dee
ABS-CBN.com went to the Pinoy Big Brother office to interview evicted housemate of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010 Tricia Santos right after her appearance on the PBB Uber live show. But while doing the interview, Uber host Mariel Rodriguez politely pulled Tricia away to the next room and introduced her to no other than Tricia’s showbiz crush Enchong Dee.
As witnessed by ABS-CBN.com, Tricia blushed upon shaking hands with Enchong, but she was mostly quiet the whole time. Mariel didn’t let the opportunity pass and used her Blackberry to take a photo of Tricia and Enchong. After saying goodbye to Enchong, Tricia could not help but giggle over the celebrity encounter, and she told ABS-CBN.com, “Masaya kasi idol ko siya. Napanood ko siya noong Katorse.”
Tricia shared why she has a big crush on the young actor. “Kasi athletic siya…kagaya ko, hi hi hi! Tsaka napagsabay niya ‘yung pag-aaral niya at showbiz. Role model talaga siya sa mga kabataan.” Enchong is a champion swimmer while Tricia is a volleyball player in her hometown in Davao.
In a separate interview following the chance meeting, Enchong told ABS-CBN.com that he was surprised that Tricia is taller than him. “Ang tangkad niya. Sa TV kasi mukhang hindi siya ganun ka tangkad. Gusto ko next time hindi na siya naka-heels kasi nanliliit ako, ha ha ha!”
Enchong revealed that during their first meeting, he didn’t notice any sign that Tricia had a crush on him. “Hindi halata, ha ha ha! Pero nakakatuwa siya. Ang galing niya magtago [ng nararamdaman].” Nevertheless, Enchong said he finds the ex-teen housemate very attractive. “She’s very pretty. Charming talaga siya and mukhang very approachable.”
If given the chance to do a teleserye or a movie, Tricia would love to have Enchong as her leading man. “Kung pwede e ‘di sige po. Over! Ang kapal naman ng mukha ko, ha ha ha!,” she said. Enchong also welcomes being paired with Tricia. “Sure! Why not? Pero itanong natin kay Erich (Gonzales), ha ha ha!”
However, 15 year old Tricia doesn’t want to appear as the thorn in the Enchong-Erich love team. “May respeto po ako sa kanya (Erich). Idol ko po sila pareho.” Tricia added that she doesn’t want to do a kontrabida role in a love triangle with Enchong and Erich.
Since she was a child, Tricia had dreamt of being in showbiz. But since her parents wanted her to prioritize her studies, she was not permitted to join a workshop in ABS-CBN. Now, Tricia has realized that being a star is not for everyone. “Noong bata ako dream ko na talaga mag artista. Pero ngayon naniniwala ako na kung para sa akin, ibibigay talaga ni Lord. Kung hindi para sa akin, hindi talaga. At least ngayon kung baga nagkaroon na ako ng chance na mapanood sa TV. Kung bibigyan ako ng chance sa showbiz, masaya po ‘yun. Pero kung wala po talaga, mag-aaral na lang ako.”
Watch out how Enchong will surprise the remaining teen housemates as he enters the PBB house. Catch Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010 every night.
While being interviewed by ABS-CBN.com, Mariel Rodriguez politely excused her for a while and introduced her to Enchong Dee.
She took her Blackberry phone and took a picture of Enchong and Tricia.
Ex-PBB teen housemate Tricia Santos defends herself on negative rumors
Tricia Santos probably holds the distinction of being the most unpopular housemate of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010. Inside the house she had been called by her peers many things, like attention seeker, cry on cue, childish, so on and so forth. ABS-CBN.com interviewed Tricia following her eviction, and she reacted to how she seemed to have been put in a bad light because of the incidents inside the PBB house. The 15-year-old Davaoeńa revealed this is not the first time that she had experienced not being liked by people around her. “Kahit po dati naka experience na akong maraming may ayaw sa akin. Pero kahit na ganun, ginugusto ko pa rin na maging masaya sa buhay. Basta alam ko naman sa sarili ko na wala akong sinasadyang saktan na ibang tao. I can’t please everybody. Naka set na ‘yung mind ko na magustuhan man ako ng mga tao o hindi, nandiyan naman ‘yung family ko at si Lord.”
Tricia went inside the Kuya’s house thinking of just having fun. But looking back, she thought that maybe her being too loud upset the other housemates. “Siguro dahil maingay ako. Aminado akong maingay ako. Pero sana lang kung paano ko sila tinanggap the way they are sana naging ganun din sila sa akin. Hindi lang dapat ‘yung good side, dapat pati bad side ng isang tao tanggapin natin. Pero hindi ganun ‘yung nangyari sa akin.” Because of this attitude, most of the teen housemates assumed that Tricia was childish by nature, but she explained, “Bata pa naman talaga ako. I’m only 15. Childish talaga ako minsan. Kahit sa ibang tao nangungulit ako, ‘Sino pwedeng kalaro?’ Pero ngayon tina-try ko na talagang umayos.” Tricia further clarified that she is not showing such behavior just so she could get noticed. “Lahat naman tayo kailangan ng attention every once in a while. Pero hindi ko siya ginagawa on purpose. Sana they won’t use that against me kasi ginagawa ko naman ‘yung best ko na magbago.”
Also according to the other housemates, Tricia’s way of gaining attention was to cry even for the simplest things, hence she earned the label “cry on cue.” “Hindi totoong ‘cry on cue’ ako pero totoong iyakin ako. Super iyakin ako kahit sa maliliit na bagay. Pero ang sama naman kung iisipin nilang ‘cry on cue’ ako. Hello! Kung gusto kong magpapansin sana nagingay na lang ako at hindi na lang ako nagsayang ng luha!” she defended herself.
While inside the house, rumors also began to spread that underneath Tricia’s innocent beauty is a wild party girl, which the young lady dispelled. “Medyo lumaki po akong spoiled pero ngayon iba na dapat. Gumigik ako pero may limit naman. Pumupunta ako ng party pero hindi ako umiinom ng todo. Naka try ako uminom pero hindi ako alcoholic. Ni hindi nga ako umiinom ng soft drinks e. Athlete ako so dapat I should stay healthy. Kung ginagabi ako ng uwi from a party may consent naman ‘yung ng parents ko. Naipaalam naman ako sa kanila ng mga friends ko.”
When she left the PBB house, Tricia has had to deal with former housemates Eslove Briones and Shey Bustamante who were apparently force evicted because of her. Tricia said that all is well now with Eslove, but she has yet to speak with Shey. “Si Eslove nag Trinoma kami nung nakaraan. For me past is past. Nakapagpatawad na ako kaya kinalimutan ko na lahat ‘yun. Si Eslove naman bago siya ma-evict nag sorry na siya. Si Ate Shey naman hindi pa kami nakakapagusap kasi wala pang chance. Pero sana one of these days magkausap na kami. Wala naman talaga akong problem sa kanya. Sana maging friends pa rin kami.”
Showing her optimism against the negative accusations, Tricia has chosen to put all these behind her. “In the long run makakalimutan rin naman namin lahat ito. Kung hindi ko sila i-forgive, may mangyayari ba? Better to forgive na lang.” For her part, she apologizes to anyone who got offended by her actions in PBB. “Kung may mga tao akong na-offend sa stay ko sa house, sorry po. Pero sana ‘wag tayong maging judgmental kasi marami pa tayong hindi alam sa isang tao.”
