Oh, I forgot. Ateneo can win if the coaching staff will allow Charo Soriano to coach the girls just this once, instead of Gorayeb pontificating about the value of teamwork, patience, etc. which the girls are used to hearing for like four years now. Soriano spells the difference because she knows how it personally feels to be in such a situation. I don't know about Gorayeb. With La Salle at the stands ready to heckle him, he better keep his composure lest he'll challenge them to a fistfight after the game, or to this effect.

The camera just loves Gorayeb's face when he's angry.

Charo coached them against DLSU nung first round. They lost.

sino ang mas matataranta? si coach ramil or coach roger?
Should this be the other way around? I mean you should be curious how Coach Roger will handle the pressure when they play the Lady Spikers and Coach Ramil.

Another question comes to mind every DLSU-Ateneo WV game. Will Coach Roger shake hands with Coach Ramil after the game?

will the usual die-hard Lasallians and Ateneans who only show up during DLSU-ADMU men's basketball games show up on Sunday's DLSU-ADMU women's volleyball game? perhaps the ever notorious Mama Eagle will show up this time.

by the way, we would love to see Frankie Lim, Dave Marcelo and the rest of Tropang San Beda watching Sunday's game.

You could very well be right, but if you're going to get on his case because of what word he used, I suggest you don't say halerrrr. Is that a word now?
    DLSU in 3 sets.

    They will win:

If their offense will keep La Salle guessing (if their combination plays click).

If they cover La Salle's down-the-line spikes when Ferrer is in front.

If they involve Nacachi actively in the offense.

    If Gervacio's jump serving clicks.

If they effectively block Gumabao. Gumabao will be maximized in this game.

Probably, if the whole of Katipunan will watch the game, with the support of people from Espana, Morayta and San Marcelino.

Keys to win: Smarts and intelligence; Cainglet's leadership; Valdez's quick thinking on the court; and Ferrer's setting to spikers at the back line.

    La Salle will win:

If they just do their thing.

Prediction: La Salle in 5 sets.
Agree in all except on two points.

More opportunities for HO to do a running spike and even quick hits.

    Ateneo in 5!

DLSU's dominating passion gives them the win in a dominating fashion.

DLSU in 3 sets.. Pero sana 4 sets para hindi naman masayang ang pagpunta ko sa Arena

La Salle will fire in all sides..

If ADMU will use Valdez as middle attacker, then it will be easier for La Salle to block De Jesus..

Excited na ako.. Last 4 games for Cha Cruz.. They'll go for 13-0 tomorrow.. super good luck!

what I am surprised and impressed with Charo's coaching when they won the VLeague were the ff:
    - she trusted Patnongon which later became a steady blocker
    - Admu became a good blocking team

however, i think the Admu now of Coach Roger vs the Admu in the Vleague has more offensive options, mas marami silang na eexecute na plays na this season ko lang nakita at wala sa VLeague. Charo does not have UAAP championship experience. Coach Roger has several NCAA championships on his belt.

Either way, I hope Admu gives Dlsu a good fight. DLSU's is really the contender but siyempre, sana naman maganda laban.

After what happened to DLSU in Season 72, I've had a case of "last game of the elimination round - phobia".
The Lady Eagles look like they've improved since their last meeting, and are ready to give the Lady Spikers a good fight, and of course, will use all of their might to prevent DLSU from sweeping the elims.

One good thing though is that, CHa, Abi, Liss, (even Mich) and of course Coach Ramil, know how painful S72 was and i'm sure they won't want that to happen again. I believe they'll be very prepared (physically and emotionally) for the last game of the Elimination Round.

So I don't care how many sets as long as DLSU wins.
And maybe a glimpse of Wensh Tiu on the floor? Too much to ask?

God bless the DLSU Lady Spikers! Go for 14-0!

"Last game of the elimination round phobia"...somewhat analogous to "last game of the elimination round momentum swinger", "last game of the elimination round collapse." I have that same resentment.

I think everyone is forgetting that if there's any team that improved in the second round, it's DLSU.

Key to winning this game for them is to pound Valdez on defense, take out her offensive game.

if I'm not mistaken for 3 consecutive seasons, the 2 teams that played in the last game of the elimination went to the Finals

    Season 71 FEU vs DLSU
    Season 72 DLSU vs UST
    Season 73 DLSU vs UST

could this be the preview of Season 74 Finals Game?

sana huwag masyado ipilit kay Cainglet... kasi noong round 1 napansin ko halos pinipilit nila kay Cainglet.
