I like the aggressiveness I saw in Judy yesterday. This is the first time yata na most of her attacks came from the weak side; looks like she's now easing her way into the opposite position. I'm also very happy with how Mela played. My prediction is that this girl will be a superstar after 2 more years.

Narealize ko, ang lakas natin next year, especially with Coach Odjie at the helm.

nakakatuwa silang panuorin habang nanunuod sila ng game ng feu at admu. ang saya naman na friends ang men's and women's volleyball teams.

ang gaganda pala nila sa personal, lalo na si Maruja. hehe. saw her father (?) nag bless muna siya bago siya sumali sa teammates niya.

pero ang favorite moment ko, yung naka-attack si De Leon. grabe yung tuwa at talon ng mga UST Tigresses. lakas lang maka-suporta.

1) Dimaculangan: A wonderful serving and setting in the last set. I believe you recognized her in the tail end of the 2nd, worked your serves around her in the 3rd, and dictated how that set would turn out - excellent control. You held your serves really long, even with hardly an ace. I think you were still serving past the 1st tech. timeout, and also served the game out. A very strong performance.
2) Banaticla: Another fine server.
3) de Leon: Awful serve, you can't give that. Good offense and if the sets are seen, also a good blocker. However, you're prone to quicks and must anticipate certain player's moves. You don't close in on your opposite hitter (Tunay just had the presence of mind to cover that gap in the back row). Faster lateral steps, I think you make 2 steps and then jump - hasten to take another before jumping or make the 2 unnaturally very long.

I think they should utilize more often the backrow attack of Judy, I saw the replay and it was great attack

Though I'm placing my bets on Adu, but still I know your team more than capable of winning! Hope you prove me wrong that you can win this one para di na naman ako torn between FEU and UST if ever FEU wins (hopefully) against UE sa Play off for the 4th spot...This Saturday ang game di ba?

ako rin, juday was my pog last sunday. not to take anything away from maika, but for me, juday just played a better all-around game against nu.

good job din kay rhea for choosing to give more sets to judy. mukhang finally, narealize na nila that if they want to contend for the final four--and hopefully the championship--they must involve judy and the other players in the offense. hindi palaging sila maru at maika lang. i also saw 'yung quiet leadership ni rhea during the game. before an ensuing play, she would look at her teammates isa-isa, parang making sure that everyone is ready and is on the same page.

hindi ko alam kung anong strategy ni coach of having rhea give too many running spikes to maike at the game's onset. siguro ang tingin niya ay habang maaga pa at hindi pa nahuhuli, paganahin lang ng paganahin para maabuso 'yung kalaban. but there's always the risk na mahuhuli sila ng kalaban. gaya vs nu. first set, kamada si maika. pero nun sets 2 and 3, medyo huli na nung blockers. pero i trust coach odjie and the girls. i just wish maika learns 'yung drop ball from a running. at ibalik ang quick hits.

maru was quiet in the game. pero that's not entirely a bad thing. focus lang siguro talaga siya in notching the win.

great showing by our rookies mela, jamie, and jessey. ganda nung quick hit ni jessey, sarap ulit-ulitin. hopefully, makabawi sila gi at mia sa game vs adamson.

si alexine cabanos ba 'yung nakablack nung sunday? ang ganda nga niya.

Well, it's good that Judy is finally easing her way into the utility position. Kung napansin niyo, si Aiza na utility nila dati, was also all over the court. Kahit sa depensa, dama mo ang presence nya. Even from the back. I'm glad na nagiimprove si Judy in that aspect kasi alam naman nating lahat na she has very big shoes to fill. I haven't seen the match yet, but based on what I've heard, she did amazing. Way to go, Tigresses!
