before kapag nag pasa ka ng resume sa taleo after 1 week may call ka na ma rereceive agad from them... now kahit pa naka receive ka na ng email na someone from HP referred you etc etc hayyy hindi pa din ako nakaka receive ng invitation for interview... kung kelan ka na decided mag apply here saka naman walang invite

My x officemate referred me last nov of 2009 for webhosting position even if i have no background on middleware applications. i had my first interview with HR. If i could remember the name of the recruiter was Karen. Im interested with unix post but karen was pushing me to apply for webhosting. then came my 2nd interview with the tech. leads. I think i passed the technical interview because they said that they will check out if im going to be a tier 2 or 3 for my experience. then my third interview was with the hiring manager last march of 2010. i really cant remember what was the interview but im sure it was a non technical interview. the feedback that i could recall was the same feed back coming from my 2nd interview. after a week, i have been mailing hr (karen) for more than 3 to 4months just for follow up but she said that there are no feedback coming from the hiring manager. After 6 - 7 months i applied for unix admin post. i received a call from Anne from HR for my initial interview and scheduled me for technical exam on the weekend. The day before my exam, i received a call from anne and she knows that i have a previous application on webhosting which was my first application. I was happy by that time because the hr reopen my long lost application. The bad news is i failed the hiring manager's interview way back 2010 =( too bad but i asked the HR if i can proceed with unix even if my 1st application was nov 2009. she said that the hiring manager for webhosting and unix are the same and there's no assurance that i will get interviewed because of the same hiring manager. so guys and gals, matagal ang process nila i dunno kung namimili sila or what. Same hiring manager? I doubt it, taga HP kasi ako.. way back in 2010 and up to now web hosting and unix have different tower manager. Under web hosting there are plenty of account manager which do the interview for prospects. So it means that malabong same hiring manager yun, kasi madaming accounts sa HP and different manager ang unix at web hosting. my application in HP took only 1 week from exam, interview with account manager and job offer. I can say that it depends on the urgency ang process nila. If you will be assigned in an existing account, then expect na mabilis ang hiring niyo, but for incoming account then for sure matagal yan..

@hloadrunner: im not sure kung incoming. bka nagdadahilan lang yun HR na same hiring manager. kasi nagparefer ako nov 2009 (webhosting) pa then last dec 2011 ko lang nalaman na bagsak ako kung hindi pa ako magaaply for unix position. also may agreement before yung previous company ko tska HP. pero kahit nakaalis na ako mukang issue paren sa HP.

I applied for a Wintel Post last Dec.. Im already done with the exam and two interviews. As to date, 8 days na ako waiting for their call. The interviewer told me na I'll wait for their call(thru mobile, tinanung ko kasi) because he's gonna assess my application first. Also, he told me na hindi sya sure kung may next interview pa with the Hiring Manager or Jo na.. sa inyo guys..any idea..does it mean na pasado ako for the interview and for the next level na or bagsak ako..pinaganda lang or i'll wait for their call? Well, based sa experience at threads na nababasa ko dito sa pex..the process in HP is really matagal and knowing na okay naman ang interviews eh hindi mo pa rin ma aasure kung pasado ka or hindi. hi i was also processed for wintel administrator. i'm already done with the exam and one interview - panel interview with hiring manager i think...that was already 2 weeks ago. still waiting for their call kasi sabi keep my lines open daw ifoforward daw sa hr yung paper ko...how about you? panel interview din ba yung sayo?

through referral e...2nd week ng january ako nagexam tapos one week after yung panel interview. baka nga kelangan lang maghintay kasi baka hindi urgent yung position

you know what? patience is a virtue...i just got off from the phone with the HP HR and i'm already up for job offer on Monday in Robinson's summit....good luck on your application hoping to work with you

Guys natawagan ako ng hp and they said that they will get back to me after 3-5 days.. naku naku.. sana pumasa ako sa interview.. i really did my best.. hoping for a good news.. any tips for the exams and upcoming interviews please pm me..

who's your recruiter? maybe you can try calling him/her? when i started kasi di ako agad nag NEO, mga after a week pa before ako nakapag NEO. possible na ganun din sa yo, maybe they'll ask you to report agad sa manager mo, then to follow yung NEO. not sure about this, pero parang once a month lang ata yung NEO eh.

with regards to the hiring process, i think it depends din talaga sa need. i was hired in less than a week. tuesday nung tinawagan ako ng hr to ask if i'm interested to apply in an opening they have since mukhang swak yung profile ko sa need nila, they got my resume daw from jobstreet. thursday i had my panel interview. before the interview ended, i already knew na up for jo na ko, sinabi na sa akin nung managers. same night, i received a call from hr for my jo sched. friday, i had my jo na.

I have an interview on Feb 7 at 2pm, behavioral and technical daw. this is for SAP tester post(maybe integration testing hindi ako sure). May idea ba kayo about sa questions sa interview? End user lang kasi ako ng SAP almost 3 years n. Sana pumasa ko!!!
