My dear KatBebe, since you're just 21, hear me out.
They imposed an age requirement for a reason. And most probably, they want those with more experience working their as*es off for years than those without because this will prove one's determination in leaving thus, employee retention. You know this, you're a manager already, correct?
There's more to being an International Flight Attendant. I noticed you mentioned twice that you're working as a manager already. Now, let me ask you this, are you ready to work as a servant and not a boss? Did you already ask yourself if you can keep up working with different nationals every single flight? Research about realities my dear friend. Some are being abused physically and emotionally not only by their customers but also by their colleagues. Can you handle the stress of being an OFW? And that my dear is just the tip of the iceberg. These are some hard facts that many aspirants fail to think about. Every job has its own perks and privileges, but being an FA is not as posh as you think it is. You will be going abroad to work, but you can always enjoy as you please.
I am not saying this to discourage you guys. I'm just shedding light, if I may say.
Another thing, looks and achievements are not what they look for exactly. These are just add-ons to what you can offer the company. You're still young, you still have a lot to learn, understand and achieve.![]()
hello there i'm new here..i just wanna ask if dental bridges is acceptable? ni-oopen ba talaga ang mouth at nititingnan isaisa ang teeth?

Hi there! thank you for your detailed reply. I have my photos na. But I think I'll pass my resume on Tues. Sabay na tayo Katbebe. My friend will pass her resume tom. I'll ask her for more details.
sana we can all make it! if not Saudia, Qatar! basta makaka uwi padin minsan sa Pinas
Good luck to us! <3
wow! suma cum ka? if you are only 22 and a manager you are so lucky! You look pretty on your pic and yes you have the height for a FA.
Ako super kabado! haha. I'm 25, i dont have perfect vision, tapos underweight pa ko. last medical ko sa previous employer ko fit to work ako but class B. I have 8% Toraxic Scolio kasi. My issue pa un RBC ko. HAHA o diba! wag ka na ma-frustrate. Isipin mo nalang u have the edge among other applicants. For me This is now or never! =) I'm not getting any younger![]()
Iniisip ko din kasi siyempre in the long run and atsaka if tumanda na ako. Hindi naman kalakasan katawan ko. I mean I can work as an F.A now pero ilang years lang bibigay na katawan ko (26 na ako). Kasi anemic ako before pero 2 years ng okay tests ko. Gusto ko lang sana to fulfill my dreams before... Thanks for replying
So you mean walang agreement ang SaudiA with other airlines unlike Qatar and Emirates? Kasi di ba e.g F.A ka for Qatar once you resign kailangan mag wait ng 1 year before you apply for Emirates and vice versa?![]()
Try mo call IPAMS like someone suggested. I read somewhere online I am not sure if EK or QR yun na may cnonsider for Open Day kasi one month nalang bago siya maging 22.
Thank you talaga sa info mo. You are helping EVERYONE out here.
noodless: eto sis, waiting pa rin for my medical clearance this week. inshaAllah magtuloy2x na.
katbebe: experience-wise, you can always try attending cv submission/od with any airline; effort-wise, better to wait til you turn 22. kung 22 man yung min age. well with qr kasi paiba2x, few years back at least 18 tas 21 tas last time naging 23 ata. anyway, better to confirm this with ipams. kasi pag underage, minsan di na pinapapasok ng ball for cv submission, kung papasukin man tatanungin ng ro kung ilang taon na, if di talaga pwede sasabihen nilang itatago na lang muna nila cv mo for future references, pero mukang di na nila yun itatago, ewan ko lang sa dame ba naman kasi ng applicants nila. and if i may add, yung min age req is most probably based from the civil aviation authority standards or working visa req (per country).
well, at the end of the day nasa sayo pa rin kung tutuloy ka or hinde.
p.s. parate ko tong sinasabe - you'll never really know kung magustuhan ka ng ro unless you try, they dont have that particular "characteristic" na hinahanap sa applicants - whether you're gorgeous, brainy, experienced, you have good height, fair skin, etc etc etc.. basta may certain "x factor" lang talaga silang hinahanap na sila lang nakakaalam. hahaha!
and i myself have graduated with flying colors as well, but they really wouldn't ask for your TOR. lol. malalaman na lang nila pag nakita na nila diploma mo during the final interview. lol. anyway, all the best! God bless us all![]()

last month 'yung latest & meron ulit silang OD sa Arabic speakers this Feb sa Emirates Building mismo.
Sa mga curious about dental/fixed bridges, idea ko lang to ha, I'm not 100% sure.
I read somewhere that dentures, as long as they're in good condition, are allowed. So better pa if fixed bridge. Anyway, I will know this Feb and I will make sure to post here the result.![]()
Your welcome sis!lurking at pex had help me as as well to be motivated in pursuing this dream job of ours. Goodluck sa applications mo
Hi Guys if you have the time , I suggest you read this article entitled "Things to ponder upon before you join any airline"

"..There is no perfect airline for anyone unless you know what you want for yourself."-Flygosh
he got so many interesting articles that will help you a lot be it about Salary Scheme, experiences shared by ex FA and more...![]()

good morning to all the FAs and future FAs here.
Pero napaka OA nga yun sa age part since they accept "at least" high school grad. Ano naman experience meron isang high school grad? tapos gusto nila at least 22 yrs old. Also nakasulat naman sa website nila na experience is not a requirements. So isip ko lang naman na OA na yun sa age limit kasi in Philippine LAW diba 18 or 21 yrs old considered as adult na.
yup, you made a good point in asking me to weigh my current job as a manager and as a servant sa airplane. I did think about it naman. Being young only come once in a lifetime. 8 years from now I don't think I have a good shot at being an FA. I love to travel especially to Europe and I like to be able to see the Eiffel Tower, the museums, the european architecture and all. In my current job, I have to make super tipid and mag save ng mag save just to be able to travel to Europe. But being an FA, I will be able to travel the world, learn about other countries, sightsee and experience more in my life than my current job. I believe also after 7-8 years of being an FA I can resign and come back to what I'm doing right now.
My heart is set for this right now. Kung hindi ako matangap sa age ko right now, I'm sure matatangap ako kapag 22 na ako.
Faye - nag PM ako sayo ng cp # ko. Baka Thursday pa ako makapunta.
^ Maam i'm quite sure if you'll apply this feb it will give you "following instructions" a failing grade. To consider that's just a basic emloyment req. Technically your still 21. And imho age has nothing to do with academics.![]()
ask ko lang mga ka pexers ang ginagawa lang sa ipams eh initial interview and etc then pag may od final interview nalang? or initial interview pa ulit? ano use ng pag apply sa ipams? thank you
Hi I have a question!Does QR accept applicants with moles on the face? Kasi I have one tapos parang nadiscourage ako mag-apply kasi sabi ng friend ko sobrang higpit daw ng QR
I'm working as a ground attendant right now and I really want to fly with QR. Also I'm turning 21 this June. Hope someone will answer me! TIA!
@KatBebe - My friend went to Qatar Airways OD, he was still 21 way back October. Pinapaiwan lang yung resume siguro para d naman daw sayang yung punta mo, but yeah, underage people end up being disappointed. And as what punkangel said very well: "pag underage, minsan di na pinapapasok ng ball for cv submission, kung papasukin man tatanungin ng ro kung ilang taon na, if di talaga pwede sasabihen nilang itatago na lang muna nila cv mo for future references, pero mukang di na nila yun itatago, ewan ko lang sa dame ba naman kasi ng applicants nila. and if i may add, yung min age req is most probably based from the civil aviation authority standards or working visa req (per country)."
But if you really want to go this coming Feb, pwede ka naman mag punta pero yun nga, 21 kasi ang age requirement eh pero at least you get to experience what an OD is & to get an idea on what to expect during ODs. And again, as what punkangel has said, wala silang particular characteristic na hinahanap sa FA. May kilala ako beauty queen pa (beauty & brains) but she never received a call. Ang kelangan daw nila ay "individuals with resilience and who are committed to a high degree of personal fitness and well-being. Hence, to continue our success we are looking for Cabin Crew who amplify these traits whilst exuding warmth, charisma and professionalism." That's according to Qatar Airways website.
@seiliss17 - Pupunta ka sa IPAMS to apply for Saudi Airlines, then may series of interviews na daw dun pagka pass mo ng requirements.
